favorite camera app for the ogp? - LG Optimus G Pro

I am something of a mobile photog. I have a lot of camera apps, but am unsure what my favorite default app is. What's yours? Also, please indicate which ROM/Kernel you are running.

I really want to like focal, but I find some parts of the UI a bit confusing. If it were more stable, I might be able to use it more often.

Lenovo Super Camera has been my camera for a while now the UI is nice the filters are a little wonky but without them it's perfect for me.

I don't like the look of the pictures I get from focal on he OGP... but I'm on stock ROM. When I had a GS2 on Paranoid Android, it was my favorite.

I use snap camera also. Then I use Perfectly Clear for enhancement. Or if needed I use Aviary Photo Editor.

I think I have settled on ProCapture. I am very happy with the photo quality AND feature set. Pretty much all the settings are available from the viewfinder screen. Not a lot of crazy effects, just good pictures. I usually roll with Snapseed, Photo Editor, or Aviary for postprocessing.

Funtastic camera is great! its got pause and resuming video recording so its good if your on a custom rom and ther features but its my fav

It would be good to have jpeg compression disabled on this unit. Any thoughts on this?

nice never seen fish like this one before^^
Mine are taken with i9000 and edited on PC but you can use HDR Camera, Picsay Pro or switch to panorama (option available on any ICS Rom) for similar results. The first one it's processed with Photomatix (3 photos combine at diffrent esposure levels -2, 0, +2 , use for this method HDR Camera), secound one have the color adjusted, some filter and motion blur applied in photoshop. Third one acdsee (you can use picsay), fourth cobined in photoshop (but you can also use windows live photo galery or switch to panorama ICS camera option).
Also has anyone manage to use Camera FV-5 and optain long time exposure (5 secound time exposure for example) in darkness?????
Sorry for my bad eanglish.
This is not mine but this photo has been taken by my friends sgs. Hope U like it

Best camera app for the Galaxy S3?

Where camera app for the Galaxy S3 produces the highest image quality? I'm going to use the stock camera app as the baseline.
camera360
Sent from my GT-I8150 using xda premium
ProCapture
via my ParanoidedAndroided GS3
Camera Zoom FX works well for me with the exception of a couple things.
1) Loads slower than stock camera.
2) No video capability.
I really like that I can click anywhere on the screen to take the pic. I don't have to click a particular button.
yup.
ProCapture is nice.

Have anyone done a comparison between Vignette and ProCapture? What makes you think ProCapture is better? My search suggest that Vignette's 3.1MP Superfine option produces better quality than the stock app. I don't know what kind of options that ProCapture have that pushes it above the competition.
I prefer using the Stock cam overall, but I do like to use Aviary and Pixlr-o-matic every now and again. FxCamera looks cool, but the lack of live filters is a big usability issue for me.
Pro capture is a good one for power use. Pudding Camera looks good also, but I didn't really like the lack of options in it. Also pictures didn't seem as sharp as with the Stock cam. I can't say much about Vignette based on the free demo, which isn't good enough to make me want to buy it. However, it does seem to have some nice features for taking shots and editing them.

[Q] What is the Best camera

Hi all
Please tell me what app of camera you are using actually

When I was using my P350, although it consumed lots of space, my best choice was LINE Camera... It helped by adjusting exposure automatically and by applying built-in filters, sharpness and colors can be repaired...

lg Camera for better video performance

Tried out the lg Camera and Camcorder app today, and my oh my, it comes recommended, lads!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rubberbigpepper.lgCamera
While it can't pull something that's beyond the N4 sensor capabilities, it certainly does a lot better than the stock camcorder with constant and oud refocusing and compression artifacts. As a matter of fact, auto-focus, albeit a bit slow, is mostly stable and the app can pull 20Mbit/s recording over the stock's 12 with noticeably cleaner results at full 1080p. I did notice some force stops while messing around with effects and tones, so skip those options, but for everyday videos y'all should definitely give this app a go, namsayin'?
Okay it does not seem to like setting options to 30Mbit, avoid that or you need a restart. 20MBit is just fine however, just mind the large file size.
My stock camera is better. Pictures looked like crap with that app

Tried a lot of things, @20mbit recording of the lg Camcorder takes the cake. But I'ma try out the Huawei one for sure!
edit: force close @1080P
edit2: @720p the framerate fluctuates between 23fps and 30fps.

The photo quality indeed improved, bit the front camera is very laggy, but its hás a noticeble quality improvement
I can confirm that this app still works on 4.4.2 and on ART runtime, and still produces the best video, set to 20Mbit/s, of any app I've tried on the Nexus 4.

The Camera on the One (M8) has now been made obsolete.

So Google just released a new Camera app that creates its own Bokeh effect, and it works really well.
