I'm on CM 11 Unofficial - Beta 7 11-22-13 and i'm getting a settings FC when trying to set targets on the lockscreen shortcuts,
I was able to create 2 shortcuts and thats it. now its FC every time i touch the lock, in settings. lockscreen working fine. i tried to reset the shortcuts but that didn't help. i have scaned through the forum and no one seems to have this problem

If a factory reset doesn't fix it, it's a bug. That's the only way to confirm if nobody else has reported it.

Hi people,
I'm using Leedroid 3.* ROM, and V4 noRosie Sense 3 stuff. I have a problem - no icons (shortcuts) are shown on the lockscreen, same was on 3.2.1 with prev version of noRosie stuff, so I made a clean install (full wipe) but nothing changed. Still has no icons on lockscreen, and also all other lockscreen styles are not shown at all (weather, friendstream, album ...). Please help.
did you wipe data/factory reset?
another thing you could try is in settings and running apps, find htc sense and clear data, give it a minute to reload and try again

I got that error too, not any shortcut is shown on lockscreen.
Sometimes they appear for 1 second max, and then the 4 disappear.
The only thing working is the unlock ring.
It's the Rosie package (V5).
If someone could help.

EDIT: I had removed folder /data/data/com.android.settings, it may be the reason why lockscreen ****s.

I had this same problem. The lockscreen with no widget or shortcuts the 'first run' lockscreen. Run the program 'Setup' all hit next all the way through. Make sure you hit finish at the end and your lockscreen should work fine.

Running blazer 4.0, how do I disable it? if I run a lockscreen app, I have two lockscreens to jump to.. doh!

No help. Even with no lock, still lock screen wallpaper showed up. That's the reason why OP is saying two lockscreens.
Generally, any good application could replace the system UI without any side effects or problem. But something like lockscreen apps are not replacing the default stock lockscreen functions usually. I believe it's because it's so critical function on the phone and by replacing the core functions, it could bring the big trouble to the app developer.
One more issue is, compatibility issue once the stock rom is upgraded or modified. That's the reason why custom lockscreen developers are not touching system UI or app. I've seen lots of modified system apps are not running properly from the next or changed version. For many apps, by uninstalling and reinstalling it solve the problem. But for lockscreen app, if it's not working after any change, it means, 'now I have soft bricked phone'.

Crazy, didn't know that, thanks for the info! I guess it makes sense that you're messing with some pretty deep system stuff when you're tweaking the equivalent of an OS logon screen.

The only way I've found to fix this was by running a TSM mod and toggling the lockscreen toggle. But that's a temporary fix as the stock lockscreen eventually pops up(at random).
Disabling from the security menu only works in ICS, not GB. Another perk about ICS.

I'm currently running Blacknotes The Last Page, and i wanna change my locscreen using Holo Locker
But when i install i get double lockscreen
I try to remove using :
- Setting -> Security -> Set Screen Lock = None
- Using app : NoLock & No Lock screen
- Turn off in 14toggles
it all doesnt work for me
well i try to disable and enable my Holo Lockscreen and it works but everytime i turn off and on the phone
it back to double screen lock again
I heard it can be done in CM but for now i'm not plan to switch to CM 7 or 9

There is a 'no lock' app (actually more than one) which disables the lock screen. For me it only disables stock lockscreen, hope this works for you

Thanks for the respon :good:, but in my case No Lock and the others only disable stock lock screen temporary, once it restarted it back to both stock and holo lock screen

Well, just now I found a solution. Since after you restart, it still goes back to double locker, I just Clear Data on the holo locker app, and then I do the Home Key Helper again on the holo locker app. As it looks, I need to do this, everytime I restart my phone.

Some apps like contacts+ mess up the lockscreen so you will have to enable lockscreen option in the status bar slider, then disable lockscreen and re-enable the lockscreen again.

So I was flashing a couple of ROMs but I wanted to flash cm 10.2 nightly for a couple of days for testing reasons, the ROM works like a charm but since yesterday, I had No lock screen, when I press the power button the screen closes, when I repress it (even after hours of idle) there is no lockscreen, Directly opens where I left, I tried changing my pattern and nothing happened, a very weird issue that I haven't found a fix to on the interwebs.

The digital clock has disappeared from the lockscreen of my Zenfone 2. I think it happened after the latest firmware update. The weather symbol is still there but no time. Can't find a setting anywhere for lockscreen clock and it doesn't seem to be connected with the What'sNext app.
Can anyone help please?
Update: failed to solve the problem...but clock now back with a restore.
Go to Apps and on top of screen you will see widgets. There are several clock widgets you can select.

Also while you're here...any idea when a Lollipop 5.1 update is coming out! We need better battery life. Great phone apart from that.

Same issue here when I used TiBu to freeze a bunch of stuff I ended up enabling the weather app again and rebooting then it came back. I can't say conclusively that the weather app made it come back because I would restore apps in batches of 3-5 to see if it would work. Did you uninstall anything or freeze any installed apps?
i deleted the asus cover app while messing with the bloatware, can anyone upload a backup here along with the setupwizard apk

I've uninstalled the most of google apps (drive, hangout, books...) but noone of the asus ones.
A probably silly question: if I make a phone reset, do I have those app I've uninstelled back or I only unroot the phone?

Did you change any other settings? Gapps won't affect the lock screen so there a no need to do a factory reset. I'll look into it and see if I can narrow the issue down

I've only flashed system.img with Z008 WW 2.15.40.13 for rooting it and uninstalled those apps.
The latest firmware did that for me, is like a widget size change for lockscreen or something in the like, the click is there, when you boot your phone you can see it but when the weather loads is gone, like if the widget is shifted left. Think we need to wait for next update to get that corrected.
This happened to me too after freezing WEATHER. Enabling it back aolved the problem.
I can confirm that freezing weather was the cause of my lockscreen clock going away.
Hmmm.. I actually didn't freeze the weather. It's still on and going..,
But I've noticed a (maybe) strange thing.. in App notification I've tried blocking Live Weather, but then it was still on the lock screen.. I would have expected it to disappear from there, but maybe I'm just wrong...
Anyway, I've installed CM Locker cause clock on lockscreen is very useful.. the bad thing is that now with CM Locker I miss ZenMotion shortcuts (opening apps drawning letters on the lock screen)..

Even with the latest update, still nothing, the only change was that now the weather widget is centered but no clock still, any ideas? I miss my clock.

I tried it. Its because you have probably disabled weather app. Enable it & reboot your device and boom your clock(time) is back.
