I try to connect an ASIX88179(USB-RJ45.-.Ethernet) via OTG but I don't get connection.
That's possible to connect a dongle (RJ45) via OTG on this device?
I search on this Web and I read that I need to install the drivers asix.ko with "su insmod asix.ko" but terminals says Unknown id: insmod.
Can you help me?

I tried OTG on my Wildfire (CyanogenMod 7.1) but, naturally, it doesn't work.
It recognizes the cable like a dock station and active the pen drive but doesn't mount it: can add an OTG support?
I also tried the Chainfire's app (USB Host Diagnostics) but it didn't say nothing.

Hi, i just bought this tablet , i want to use the FTDI USB-serial converter to pass information with ardupilot and other devices, but the device is´nt recognized, i can connect a mouse, but the usb-serial isn´t recognized, anyone know if i need to try another kernel? or only if i root the device would be possible to connect?

I flashed with cyanogenmod, now works very well, the usb serial converter its recognized and i see the data from Copter.
Hi I have rooted my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8" 3g (SM 311) and I am in the need to install the AX88772 USB to 10/100 Fast Ethernet (in my job they allow only ethernet cable connection and not wifi).
I do not have the knowlege to complile the kernel or do whatever it needs.
Is there a way to install it as I do in a pc or mac or the recompile is nessesary?
Any help will be appriciated.

my Axis LAN adapter (0b95:772b) is beeing recognized by stock android in tab 3 10 automatically = eth0 device is created after plug-in, however there seems no client app trying to configure it (like dhclient for DHCP etc.). have anyone experience how to, ideally automatic, use and configure it?

i have a problem with a philips 65pus7303 tv, i can't get a usb-ethernet adapter (the one that works with many tv, the tp link ue300)
I made the adb access to unlock the rndis function (usb eth) through the command
Code:
adb svc usb setFunction rndis true
the function is partially activated (before as soon as I selected it it came out now it remains selected but when I exit the menu it goes back to reload) but still does not recognize the device
is there any trick you know or try?
