Problems Using Nokia HDw-2 with XDAII

Having problems with above! I can pair the devices, and the XDA asks me if I want to enable as a bluetooth headset, to which I say yes. I then enable the BT headset mode, and the sound still comes from teh XDA speaker (also, the headset buttons do nothing).
Is the headset compatible withe the XDAII?
Have you enabled headset mode on the phone. You do this by either clicking the headset icon at base of screen or through the menu.
yes mate, have been doing that - just no joy whatsoever!
Problem is some headsets just wont work, I have a nokia headset here that wont work with the xda 2, its the hbh-15.

I play podcasts through the ExtUSB port on my Kaiser.
I have to start the podcast, pause it, then plug in the ExtUSB plug and start the podcast again and then it works.
Yeah it doesn't recognizes headsets instantly you have to plug them before using any media... I bought an adapter, its kinda big but I can charge and listen music at the same time!

so try pausing it, close app, restart app, then play the music, if it doesnt work headsets are broken or are just incompatible with the phone, i used to have some really old motorola handsfree, with the miniusb plug just like the HTC ones, but i was never able to lisent anything on them.

[Q] Music out volume

I have plugged my phone into my surround sound system using the headphone socket but the music out volume is very very quiet. Tried in the car also connecting it to the car stereo but again very quiet. Plugging my ipod in this way both times and the music is perfectly loud. Is this a bug or does anyone know a solution. I was going to buy a new car stereo so i can stream music to it via bluetooth. Will this also be ridiculously quiet??
I'm guessing that you've already tried turning the volume up?

Yes I have turned the volume right up.
Are you being serious that it's loud?? Is that because your using an unofficial rom?

I thought as much, I'm using CM7, but I have used the stock HTC ROM to listen to music on my HiFi. And there were no problems with the volume.
Are you using the same 3.5mm jack to connect your phone to your car & HiFi at home?
Yeah using the same 3.5mm jack on th phone but different lead each time. As I say with iPod it's fine. Through headphones the volume is fine and too loud when turned right up but it's when connecting to other audio equipment it's just so quiet and very poor quality.
That's odd, sadly short of a factory reset, which probably won't fix it anyway. I've no more ideas

I also have the same problem, I've plugged mine into my car stereo and it does not go loud enough, I'm wondering if it could be a fault.
Maybe a problem with the latest firmware update that they pulled (2.2.1) as I didn't try it before then I'm not sure. Thanks for your replys so far. Any othe thoughts??

skullcandy microphone headphones hesh 2.0 htc one x will not play music through them

Hi guys,
I have received a new pair of skullcandy hesh 2.0 headphones with an inline microphone.
when the headphones are plugged in my one x displays the headset icon and will not play music via the stock music player or any alternative music player.
I cannot for the life of me figure out why. I have tried various headset remote apps to get this to work but it still doesn't play music.
standard headphones work fine. My phone is stock jellybean 4.1.
hope you can help.
Can you hear the audio? Only the headphone buttons don't work?

No audio. That's the issue.
if the Mic button or Mic didn't work I wouldn't really care.
Try to hold play button all the time on remote while playing the song cheers

There is no play button on the remote. It has one click operation.
It seems that the one x won't play music through the headset whatsoever, even though they are headphones. The 3.5mm connector that inserts in the phone is a three ring type.

1-did yoy insert the correct bin?
2-did you try the headphone on another device a laptop for example?
Head phones work fine on a direct 3.5 mm jack. Only the microphone lead doesn't play music.
It's a stock phone. So no haven't changed the bin.
Just makes no sense to why a microphone headset that's wired doesn't play music.

Bluetooth Headset weird problem...

Hello guys!
I have been trying to make my bluetooth headset work with my phone (it actually worked many times with other roms and even the one that I'm using right now) the thing is that the headset pairs correctly but when I play music (it does actually detect the music control buttons on the headset) it plays it on the mobile speaker... I still don't know what it can be causing it so, what do you think I could do to fix it?
I have the same issue using my Vizio Bluetooth headset on a CM9 ROM. Not sure why this happens, as the sound works fine when paired with my ASUS Slider.
