Card Cloning - NFC Hacking

Hey
Is there any way to clone a Mifare Classic card via the NFC chip on the Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7105? I tried many apps for reading it and no succes... Thanks in advance!

No, there are no apps for that. Mifare Classic cards have secret key components that can not be copied.
You may only hack a mifare classic card with expensive equipment that can analyze the radio waves of the communication between the card and the reader station. And that is not something that can be accomplished by todays phones. Visit the "CARTES" conference if you want to see a such "hacking" equipment.

[Q] nfc on our plays!

is it possible to have nfc on our plays?
I know, its related with hardware!
But just think, if we can upgrade the bluetooth version in an update, also, make the wifi network strong and fast rite? So why not this nfc or something like that in new ics?
I will wait if someone tries to do this!
Impossible, we have no NFC chip
no need to worry.
i read somewhere that nfc chip will come inside the simcard.
and also the chip that compatible with microsd slot.
btw look at iphone external nfc chip accessories.
there are many optional solutions though..
ya anyways, just was a thought if it comes, it will be good then
R800 no chip nfc
Yes Sony are going to be doing a package with NFC sd card and a prepaid top up card. I can't wait I just hope they do a 32gb sd. Oh the package for Samsungs NFC sd chips are 27 pounds but thats only a 1gb :-( so Sony will probably be about the same prices.

Moneto just released their nfc sdcard for the Samsung galaxy s phones with Sony coming soon. $30 for the sdcard with the android app on the market. You even get a $10 credit care you can use with your new nfc card. Thing I don't like is its for a 1gb card which is pitifully small considering I use a 32gb card that is almost full. By the time they make a 32gb card we will all be on new phones still its nice to see a company working on something like this.

The card does not have just a static chip, so when it is touched information is passed through, encrypted, and sent to the bank to be decrypted and authenticated which creates the transaction. This means it is not as simple as copying the data on the card, however you can use Google Wallet. This advice will be short lived if you device does not support host card emulation and is not KitKat

Sim card reader on SM-T830.

Hi everybody, i have a Tab S4 SM-T830, and i saw that this tablet have a sim card reader even there is a space for a sim card on the tray for micro sd card, is there a way to make work that sim card reader? Because it is a wifi model tablet but the hardware is there.

i doubt it very much the hardware is there. As some user have flashed WETA rom, the phone dialer shows up on the SM-T830 WiFi model! You could try flashing WETA and then try a sim card!

I'm realy not sure if all necessesary hardware are there but at least the sim reader and the sim space in the tray yes. I will try later with weta rom. Thx
I think the WiFi Model has the space for the bigger tray that includes the Sim. They don't want to redesign the tablet because of the little space they could be used. Maybe is the Sim reader is there too.
But I don't think that the WiFi model is capable of LTE or 3G. Samsung probably left out the modem and the antennas to safe some money. The WiFi Model is 70€ cheaper than LTE version.
I'm just necroposting because this is a very common theme, and it needs to be put to rest once and for all!
Not really. But there is a 'black box' section of the firmware and hardware that only Qualcomm has access to, the technicalities of which are under government regulation, both USA and Internationally. That is why the major portions of all Qualcomm equipped devices are actually written by Qualcomm itself, and other processor (SoC) manufacturers likewise.
If such information was disseminated to mobile device manufacturers, it would leak, and that would compromised the entire cellular system. The wifi only is nearly identical to the 4G LTE, but you will never get firmware loaded that will open up the cellular modem.
And if you actually accomplished such a task, it wouldn't be long before federal authorities were interrogating you on how you did it, and debriefing you to never mention a word of it ever again, nor using the knowledge in any way, under penalty of being legally banned from all cellular networks, permanently!
If you dig hard on the Qualcomm site, and pass a few security checks, like demonstrating you're an actual mobile device developer, you will run into these stone walls where no one is allowed to pass.
