Problems Restoring Leak 4.3 Rom Seanz Method Fails - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

So I've been running into an issue with the 4.3 mj5 4.3 leak. Basically the leak runs flawlessly without a single bug on my device, but the problem comes in whenever I try to restore my 4.3 leak cwm backups.
I installed seanzscreams ma4 and param tz bootloader fixes that were supposed to eliminate any issues going from 4.3 to 4
1.2 and back to 4.3. Except every time I attempted to restore 4.3 either from 4.3 itself or after having restored a 4.1 backup, my 4.3 nandroid will restore fine and boot up but gapps force close, along with several other apps, and the system will fail giving a wait or ok option. This basically freezes the note 2 and o have to pull battery.
So I was wondering...has anybody else had similar issues? If so, anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?
Just fyi have tried to open rom manager to fix permissions but always fcs,
Running paid update cwm touch 6.0.4.3
Att note 2 i317 of course
Att leaked 4.3 mj5 stock rooted and cwm
Any help would be hugely appreciated as I hate having to flash one click odin every time I want to try a new rom just to get back to 4.3...of which I must set up the entire kit again from clean boot which is annoying.
Thanks a lot guys

[Q] Constant freezes and reboots

My Note 2 used to work fine on 4.1.1 and 4.1.2, stock and unrooted.
Then I rooted and flashed a 4.2.2 ROM (I think this ROM was banned from xda, so I'm not going to mention its name). It ran fine on this ROM, except for some hiccups inevitable for a custom ROM. I even upgraded this ROM a couple of times with no issues.
Then I made a stupid mistake. Before upgrading my 4.2.2 ROM again, I decided to factory reset, wipe cache, dalvik, and "Clean to install new system" in PhilZ Touch CWM. I then flashed the ROM and ended up with a boot loop. So I used Odin to flash the latest stock ROM for my country and operator.
Then the freezing started. Sometimes also reboots, but mostly freezing.
There is no pattern to it, it freezes when I'm on the lockscreen, opening an app, swiping through homescreens, using maps, taking photos...
Sometimes it freezes ten times a day, some days it doesn't freeze at all.
I have done multiple factory resets, I have reflashed the stock ROM, rerooted and flashed the 4.2.2 ROM again to no avail. It's only a matter of hours before it freezes again, even with no extra apps installed.
eMMC check says I have the insane chip, but it passes the sector test and Dummy File Generator didn't freeze my phone either.
What do you think it could be? Could this be early symptoms of SDS?
Nobody has any idea?

Try going back to 4.1.1 and see if the problem is solved do this with full wipe there are many others also havng similar issue in 4.1.2 may be its a bug on 4.1.2/LJ2/LL4/LL7
I wouldn't want to go back and risk SDS. I have the insane chip.
What if I flash a DMC3 LK7 ROM?
I am on DMB2 LK4 right now and I read somewhere that DMB6 fixes this issue, so it should also be fixed in DMC3, right ?

Well it should fix as it looks latest version however u give it a try taking a nandroid backup
I don't need to be rooted to flash a different stock ROM, right ?
I'm not going to do a nandroid backup because I've just reflashed this stock ROM yesterday and I barely have any data worth saving.
I seem to have solved the freezing with the DMC3 LK7 ROM. No more freezes as of yet.

[Q] T-Mobile SGH-T989 won't Shutdown/restart

I have a T-Mobile Galaxy S2 That i have rooted and still running the stock rom vers. 4.0.4. Everything runs fine except the ability to restart or shutdown the phone. For some reason it gets stuck on the pink goodbye screen. Also i have tried to flash different roms only to get a boot loop. The only way i can get the phone to start is to restore a old backup. Sorry for being such a noob.thanks for any help!
you have to un-root and then upgrade to the latest firmware 4.1.2 then re-root/..... the 4.0.4 had some bug when you root it wont shut down and they never fixed it from what i can tell

Thanks man! I really appreciate the help!
no problem man and if kies fails on you might have to take the odin approach all these tmobile firmwares that came out for this phone have all been buggy or glitchy and off course they have done nothing about it so good luck
No...the problem is not from ICS 4.04..Something is corrupted around your system or data partition...That happened to me after I used dark side wipe and restored an old nandroid backup...I had to odin to stock and that fixed it...
In your case, Odin the JB stock UVMC6 , after you reboot, boot into recovery then do factory reset .

[Q] PACman 4.3 Help-Blame Tyler

Im sorry if this is being repeated, but I'm relatively new to flashing custom ROMs and up until now haven't really had any issues.
I recently flashed the latest PACman rom 4.3 and I'm not sure what went wrong. I'm coming from 4.2. I did everything the same as usual, wiped cache and dalvik, installed the zip. As soon as the phone rebooted, I started getting error messages. "Acore has stopped working, blame tyler", same thing for the system UI. So I decided to do a wipe and restore. Well now my restore wont work. I've had to go back to a PAC version from back in February because none of my other restore files will work. I'm not sure what to do. Even on this restore file, I'm getting "insufficient storage" messages when I havent even uploaded all my apps yet.
Please help!

I had similar problems going to 4.3 as well. Mine kept getting frozen at the boot screen, and wouldn't restore any of my backups. I tried flashing back to previous versions of android and nothing was really making any difference. Finally I ended up flashing the whole phone back to stock. From there I flashed the new 4.3 stuff on top of that and now everything is working flawlessly like it should again. I still have no idea what caused the issues, it's gotta be something in the new 4.3 stuff that's trickling in.
Here's what I did:
Download the most recent complete firmware file (which is UCDLK3 for d2att)
Download the pit file for my phone
Flash stock image and pit file with repartition through ODIN
Flash custom recovery back through ODIN (CWM, TWRP, etc)
Download and flash latest UCDMG2 bootloader (for d2att)
Download and flash your choice of ROM, kernel & gapps
and optionally -
Update modem to latest UCDMG2
Now you should be back to a fresh install of 4.3 which works the way it should! Hopefully you had your apps backed up with titanium or something similar which can be restored now as well.

Thank you for responding and providing details. I guess I'm not understanding where to find these files. I have the firmware downloaded. The pit file, I can't seem to find no matter what I search for. I can find help on creating my own, but I'm afraid I'll screw something up if I start messing with things. The stock image, bootloader and modem...no idea where to find those either. I've never had to do any of this before. Are these files within the rom I'm trying to flash??

[Q] URGENT - Recent 4.4 update boot-looped my phone

Phone: Samgsun Galazy SIII
Model: SPH-I710
Carrier Sprint
Originally rooted 4.2 with ClockworkMod bootloader and SuperUser
Updated to 4.3 without issue.
Sometime in the past 6 months, lost root access, but wasn't needing it, so no biggie.
Today: Saw system update for android 4.4
ClockworkMod boot loader startup in the update process, and did as I always have, installing the unknown zip (which is su) and fixing root and boom.
Boot looped at the blue glowy samgsung screen.
I have tried wiping the cache's and now have even toasted my user data so I have to rebuild everything again ANYWAY, but that damn phone still won't boot!!!!
Where is (not through rapidgator bull****) the stock rom I need to ODIN transfer to get this paperweight to be a phone again?
thanks

Seems strange that this happened. Since you have a custom recovery, the OTA should have failed. This will put you on 4.4: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2738533 . If you are bootlooping, you could try to flash another rom. I would go with an MK3 zip though like the stock one, moar, wicked, project X...but make sure it is 4.3 (MK3).

I eventually found a 4.4.2 full stock ROM and was able to get that over. Of course this wasn't until after some sight suggested a wipe user data could help, so I'm re-building the phone from the base...*sigh* It happens. I'm about due for an upgrade anyway, so I can make due.
Thanks for the response,

Q.Can i downgrade from Cm12.1 to Stock 4.2.2 using TWRP backup?

I am new to android and i have s4 mini i9190 which had stock rom 4.2.2 jelly bean.
four days ago i installed TWRP using odin but was so scared to install custom rom. Anyway i still made a backup of everything(modem, EFS, Boot, System, Cache, Preload and Data). Two days ago i installed CM12.1 and i really liked it but the problem is camera. The pic captured while recording video is in low resolution compare to stock camera.
Can i go back to jelly bean using the restore in TWRP without any problem?
and which restore option should i leave checked.
My knox is 0x1.
Can someone please help me go back to stock rom?
And again i am sorry for posting the same post in wrong place.
You can restore to 4.4.2 To 4.2.2 not sure
You should be able to with no problems. In the case it doesn't work you can always flash a firmware from sammobile. But it should. Do a full restore of everything.
