Hello,
Im developing android apps and i use a note 2 with Hurricane rom.
when i test apps and they force close because i coded something wrong the force close takes about 10 seconds.
On cyanogenmod i dont have this issue and it directly force closes.
Any ideas on this?
Please dont tell me i should install CM or any other AOSP rom just to develop apps.

Did you flash Gapps? And you searched Google but you couldn't find a single Market/Play Store apk? :|

I have tried both Paranoid and CM and I can't even login because the phones keyboard won't pop up....I have updated my Gapps. Any suggestions?

Did you try restoring to check if stock key board works? Also I would look into individual thread to see if anyone else encountered similar issue. I flashed quite a few AOSP ROMs but haven't had this issue.

I meant did you try restoring back to TW rom and installing Google keyboard to see it that works. Sorry if I wasn't clear earlier...

Not sure... It could be. I always used CWM and never had an issue you mentioned.

Since updating to t211xxamk2 I cannot install apk on my tab. It shows the dialog box with Install and Cancel buttons but I can only press Cancel, install is greyed out. I rooted my tab hoping to fix this, it worked fine for like a week but now I have the same problem. Any help?
I am using tab 3 7 inch T211.
Can you be little more specific. None of the apps getting installed or specific ones?

none of the apps is installing specifically installing from apk is unsuccessful, installing from play store works fine, restoring a backup is fine as well. It's just the apk(for any app) which is giving me trouble.
Your checked installing from unkown sources? In developer options?

Im wondering if I have to root my tab to get this voice recorder apk to install...
I installed AT&t's visual voice mail APK no problems..

Late reply, but the people facing this issue might benefit from this.
Seems it was an issue because of trying to install apk with 'night filter' on. Android disables app install while any screen dimming app is on due to security reasons.

Im having a problem with "media" processes that drains my battery. Ive found "mediaserver" fix but i dont think they are the same. Ive attached here the image of the process. and if you do have the list of the processes that are safe to turn off as well as safe to freeze in titanium backup, i just want to ask for the links if you do have.. by the way im using NOTE II GT-N7105 and with e-team's rom DN3 3.1 and AGNI kernel 3.9.3 permissive.. thanks in advanced guys

Tbh I tried that and the one by Dr ketan and neither worked for me. I think in 4.3 Samsung have moved some proccess to the media scanner in the battery stats

Impossible, I've already had this problem with that rom and it worked.
This app always worked for the media process to stop draining battery. Did you choose option "disable"?

Hi folks!
This problem has been following me since this camera from Google appeared. I love taking spheres and panoramas.
Google camera(from Google play) crashes when trying to use photo sphere or panorama.
I have a note 2 LTE (t0lte) running stock Samsung rom(kitkat 4.4.2) no custom kernel, just rooted and deknoxed.
Has anyone experienced this already?
I tried to Google about this and searched here in xda but couldn't find any thread related to this.
I have 2 screen shots about this. If I gave poor information please
tell me what more info about this I can get from my phone.

if try on smsung stock rom..u'll get fc on panorama..but on aosp..work great..no fc..
