Does anyone know how to replace the charging port I want to do it myself but I'm not sure how to remove the port since it has the surface mount solder. If there are any step by steps please let me know and I thank you all in advance.

He guys new to the forum, have a question for some help, I'm going to add an external USB port, because that part of my mother board is shot from some previous shotty solder work from someone, anyways, I'm trying to figure out where to solder the 5 wires, the pads from the old port are crap, trying to find somewhere else to solder wires, any help would be appreciated.

I will be putting my Nexus 7.2 In my car and I need to charge/trickle charge it while it's in use as it won't be removable.

My note2 stopped charging. Currently i'm working with external charger for batteries but i need the USB socket for my PC and to charge it like a normal user.
After unsuccessful cleaning of the USB socket I think i need to replace the charging port. As I saw on YouTube it's easy but which one do I need?
It's Note 2 GT-N7100, N7100GSMH.
The are some models of the charging port and i'm note sure what is what?

My folks aren't exactly graceful when charging their phones, and have both gone through cases where they ruined the micro sd port. Is there anything like a really small extension adapter or something that could be used so they replace that if it goes bad instead of the port on the phone?
