Just a heads up, they all showed as $1.10 on my AMEX, even thought I only paid $0.10 when I bought them. If that doesn't get fixed I guess I'll dispute each dollar lol

Nah, there is a big banner add at the top of the market app now listing the sale. They probably gonna do this every so often to compete with amazon's free app of the day.

Maybe that $1 was one of those test transactions that they run to ensure a valid credit card.

I bought a .99 google movie that showed 1.99 in the CC pending screen, but when it actually posted it was right.

I can't get any of these apps. When I click it it says sorry error occurred. Wtf? I wonder if it has anything to do with me running ICS on the nexus...?

I just got the same error on my Acer tablet running honeycomb and my nexus one running gingerbread. So no, its not just you. And not device or OS specific it appears. In fact I dropped in here to make sure it wasn't just me.

Modern combat 3 is free for limited time

our iphone "friends" got the game first as gameloft usually does. which gameloft explains that the reason why is because it takes more time to test and debug the game on all the android phones.
but the game looks amazing an graphics on par with console quality(deffinatly ps2/xbox).i would go ahead and get it for my ipad but i dont wanna pay twice especially since i would use my phone more to play it...

It is there for 99 cents today only if you have a compatible different Android phone or tablet.
Note the "This app is compatible with some of your devices." below the 99 cents on the android market.

its in the web version if the market. I downloaded it to my HTC sensation so when it becomes compatible its there.

i just bought it from the computer, they have there own website and i found it on there. it wont show up on our phones cause it doesnt support the GSII. so i bought it anyways cause im sure they will get it working someday lol.. here is the link to the game if u cant find it.

good game....hope they patch it soon for battery.
The problem with the app is that it eats the battery hard AFTER you exit out. That was the main problem I had read about before buying it and can confirm it myself. I just reboot when done and don't worry. Everything else works fine so far. Sweet graphics.

[APP] Next Launcher 3D FREE today only 6/7/2013 [EXPIRED]

it seems as tho the activation is tied in with the device ID, so if you uninstall it and use your backup it will only work on the device it was originally activated on. keep this in mind when you upgrade or flash roms that change the device ID. TB has a feature to restore the previous device ID after flashing, so this may be helpful for those ppl that want to continue using next launcher full version even after theyve flashed a new rom or upgraded.

Download the trial version of Next Launcher 3D to get started, and choose Get Free when the splash screen comes up. To unlock it, open the menu and go into preferences. Since this interface is going to take some getting used to, I'll just let you know the menu button is in the far right dock position. In preferences, scroll all the way down and tap on About Full Version. Choose the Activate option, and put in "nextlauncher3d" as the account, and "appoftheday" as the code (both without the quotes). The app should be unlocked and you can play around without worrying about the trial period expiring.
This unlock code is only valid today, and it won't tie the upgrade to your Google account permanently. So think about backing up the app using Helium or Titanium Backup if you want to be safe. Next Launcher also overrides the background image in all launchers when it's installed. You can change it back, but still a small annoyance. All the Go widget packs are installed separately, but they appear to all be free.

Hey guys. Just got COD: Ghosts. Was really pumped about the companion app only to find out on the play store that it isn't compatible with our device. :banghead:
It's "not compatible" with MULTIPLE devices. FLAGSHIP DEVICES. Which is ridiculous! However I did some searching and found that it does work on the nexus 4. Found the app to download 3rd party. Installed......with plenty of doubts. It actually worked!
I haven't played the game and won't for about 2 hrs or so.....so the full functionality of the app is still undetermined. However I was able to do a successful login. Got a message saying to start multiplayer. So if anyone downloads this just give me and any other COD heads on here a heads up on the actual functionality of it. What works. What doesn't. Anyways......here she is.

The app itself is compatible with the galaxy note 2, I think there are compatibility issues only if you aren't on stock firmware.
I was using jedi x20 and decided to try going back to stock (rooted of course ) and see if it would work.
Once back on stock firmware I had no compatibility issue and was able to install the CoD app with no issues whatsoever.
I'm trying to find out why custom or modded ROMs (at least Jedi X20 in my case) prompt the compatibility problem.

Out of curiosity, why did you run device health? You had to give it permission to do that. When I looked at that part of the app, I just said nope... and have never run that set of tests.

As for the app in question, not the one listed just above, when you go to the beta health check section the first time, it pops up a message saying what it its going to do and what it will do with the info it collects. Hard to miss it since it uses the entire screen and gives you an out.
And that includes a more info button which takes you to a website that includes FAQs and info on how tio turn it off and flush the info.
It doesn't mention anything about a root check, but considering what it collects, getting that info is pretty trivial for any diagnostics tool.
If you say no to the check (clicking on close) it doesn't do it. The next time you enter that section if you said no before, it acts like you have never been there before and asks again.

If you accepted it then went back and uncheck the box will it still collect it since you accepted already? Btw im on stock but planning on rooting later, that's why I'm asking. Don't want to root and have them know when I do decide to root.

Well at least the reps in the store don't care. When I was looking between the Nexus, Note 3 and G2 after the rep told me the Nexus was the easiest to root if I did that.

Most likely has no effect in a store. It is designed to give a tech info about the device to see why something may not be working properly.
If you uncheck the allow diagnostics button it stops collecting the info. Note that if you use the Health App (Fitness app), it has a similar hardware check to make sure the sensors are working properly for it to calculate properly.

Why would T-Mo change your service for rooting? It's your device, they aren't going to care if you've customized it for service reasons but for support and warranty reasons it is a thing they want to know. If you don't use their support for your device it won't matter.

nteresting, I don't have device health in myAccount App.
I have Notifications, Account info and Device Support. Just bought my Note 3 today from TMob

There should be an update in the play store
it says the device health check I'd being released to "select" number of tmobile customers. Lol

Just saw the update in the play store.not going to update thatapp.

I enabled mine also but after seeing it sees all my apps I disabled it even though I'm not rooted. After a day now I don't see any history. Hopefully they won't keep track anymore in case I root.

They use carrier IQ to obtain the information shown in the app. All you're doing when agreeing to the app's terms is enabling CIQ in the settings. The app itself doesn't give them any more information than they already get, it just shows it to you as well.
