1 Download it and install it on the phone, open the Framaroot app on the phone.
2. Let it be on Install SuperSU.
4. Then it should say success root, and now reboot the phone.
5. After reboot the phone should be ROOTED, download root checker from the Play store and verify that your rooted.

1.Download and place the image file into internal storage. OR EXTERNAL STORAGE
2. Rename the image file to "recovery.img".(IF NOT)
3.Install MTK MobileUncle Tool from Play Store .
4.Open MTK MobileUncle Tools
5.go to Recovery Updates option
6.Select the image file to install and let it be installed automatically.
It will reboot into recovery.

hey i rooted my a29 successfully and used it for 1 month
but when i installed chainfire 3d n booted...it is not working since then it just shows a29 logo and doesnt proceed
and its not under warranty also i didnt get rom from anywhere
service ctr ppl sayin they r not able to flash a new rom

Sujit actually there is no download link to stock rom of a29 actually I don't find.. But do u have clockwork mod install on ur a29???if u have then u can recover.. Or there other option is hard reset.. Do u try that?? First try hard reset
Start ur phone while starting continue to push uper volume botton.. From there reset
try to restart... If it not work then reply post another method

hey i gor stock rom from xda developer's page they hav uploaded all stock roms for karbonn thanks a ton xda :*
P.S- karbonn service ctrs r bloody motherfukers :\ since my phone was not under warranty, the guy said even flashing new rom is not working on ur phone...u have to change the board...i'll do it in only 2000rs!! i said **** off! baap ko chutia banata h kya bc :\
then i installed stock rom given by xda n it started working properly!

Dear All,
I have bought my Gionee Elife E3 last week. It is a amezing phone! After rooting successfully, I tried to flash custom recovery (CWM) but it was not able to backup stock rom. I tried re flashing CMW and accidentally flashed a wrong recovery.img (mobile uncle). Now my phone is booting but not detecting SIM cards. I tried re flashing stock recovery and it seems partition is damaged. Some how managed to re flashed CWM. Googled a lot but not found any stock rom. Please someone help me with a copy of CWM backup of the phone.

Well if u have scatter file and IMG file.
Than you should use sp flash tool.
Or else if its .zip file than u should use cwm recovery.

I installed the stock recovery.img but the phone is now not factory resetting .. it just re-boots and i also can't install the latest update from gionee so .. now i am thinking to flash the whole firmware ...
But there are few questions
1. Is this a chinese firmware ?
2. Does this support English Language ?
3. Does this has Google Play Store ?
4. Do we have to remove the battery and then connect the phone to flash the firmware or can it be just flashed while my phone is off ?

Indian rom didn't worked for me
Hi i have flashed system with chinese rom using SP flash tool.
But the issue is that its not having CWM recovery.
I tried flashing CWM recovery with that StockRom link and its not getting installed.
Also under recovery mode
don't have any option for restore that file
Its says its Android recovery mode...

It will be of great help if you can provide the steps to use this back up version of Elife E3.
I am new to to flashing of roms.
Recently, I updated the my GIONEE E3 with latest OTA update. After update, HDR mode is missing from camera. I was using to HDR mode extensively and loved the camera quality of the same.
Does your back up version have the HDR mode ?

First u need to root
Than install cwm
In cwm go to backup/restore
Than restore and select the file
Make sure that you place the dated folder in clockworkmod/ backup

1) Will this change IMEI number of my phone?
2) Will I be able to install the upcoming OTA updates after restoring this firmware, just in case if required in future?
3) Will it have any impact on warranty ?
4) Is it possible to unroot after this procedure?

There are many ways to I have tried alot to do and as always i failed today whole day i spent on doing this but was not able to i have done the rooting part and now I am stuck with installing ROM to install ROM i need to have CWM and that is the pain as of now.

Ofcourse.. That's why askd u what is the error u r getting.. Take a screenshot in your PC while installing in the CMD.. Also are u on LB or UB?? I mean Locked Bootloader or Unlocked Bootloader??

Is your device Xperia Z??? No right.. U can't install that ROM in SXS.. But there is an eXistenZ Ultra ROM in our Dev section.. Download it.. Follow instructions provided in OP.. Read FAQ.. Do read everything in 1st page and then go ahead with installation..

search this. clockwork mod recovery for xperia s in xda. It will take you to cwm by doomlord. follow the steps there. Installation of cwm is different for xperia phones. There is no separate recovery partition. As of now Doomlord has compiled a nice cwm recovery for xperia s and just follow the instructions there and flash the kernel.elf file as per the instructions given there
I'm using Xperia S, bootloader unlocked and rooted using FlashTool.

Hello everyone,
Recently I updated my Samsung Galaxy Grand to the official 4.2.2 rom, and since then I'm unable to root my phone.
I flashed CWM Touch Recovery using Odin 3.07, but whenever I boot my phone into recovery mode, the logo shows up then a blank screen for 2 seconds and it restarts to boot normally.
any idea why this is happening?
Try flashing another CWM trough CWM official app in the play store ,

it might be cuz u r using the leaked firmware or whatever it called ( u flashed the 4.2.2 firmware from odin )
here is my suggestion ... i had the same prob as u...
flash 4.1.2 and then let it update normally from mobile to 4.2.2
and after this ... take this special edition of cwm ... ( 100% work ) link : ( https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_SFFvHY6sAFRllBQTQ1RzY2am8/edit ) and flash it.
( cwm will run only for 1 time ... so u have to flash fix recovery to let it run anytime )
after that ... flash fix-recovery.zip using cwm link : ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/49z2ywg226pqp5x/Fix-Recovery.zip )
*note* you should transfer the fix-recovery file to your mobile just after you update to 4.2.2 and before u start all of this installation guide *note*

jx flash that recovery with odin n then goto recovery instal that root.zip

i have sucessfuly rooted my New n7100 running ml4 with cf autoroot..
upgarded supersu with version 1.93 and stoped knox..
everything runs fine.. but when i reboot a msg pops up evertime that "Unfortunately SuperSU has stopped" and supersu wont start when i click the supersu icon..
i have to manully install supersu v1.93 after every reboot to make it work perfectly..
NOW THE PROBLEM..
I want to install hurricane rom V10 but seeing this problem after every reboot i am afraid that my n7100 will brick..
any suggestions guys??????
(p.s. i have twrp recovery)

Did you remove your battery after flashing TWRP recovery?
because the link which u have given mentions that you have to remove the battery otherwise you wil have problems to boot into recovery.

Did you have SE android status as enforcing 0018?
I gues this was some patch..so if u had 0010 or 0016 or something the CF AUTOROOT works.
But I don't know if it works on 0018.

You donot require root to flash a rom or recovery.
From the TWRP recovery just take a full nandroid backup of your current ROM. Next wipe everything and flash a new zip. Done :good:

i have heard that in super user app there is a survival mode which prevents ur root access if u r updating ur device so is there any need of turning that option ON or i can simply update it without doing that...

I suggest u not to update via ur phone...dl the update file from the link below and flash that zip file through CWM recovery.. If the recovery asks you to fix the Superuser, let it fix it...It worked for me..Happy Flashing..

will nokia x manager install cwm recovery for me??? if so then give me instruction how can i install CWM recovery in my Nokia X using nokia x manager...

Download Nokia X Manager. Download the updated adb drivers from general section. Install the drivers. Run Nokia X Manager. Click Root and follow the instructions.

adb drivers are not installing as i have installed 64 bit windows..
and why there need to go in root menu when there is option of install cwm recovery in nokia x manager???

sorry i m taking my decision back... i have the latest adb driver installed in it..
as u have told i have clicked on root button but i was only loaded in TWRP recovery... now how can i install CWM recovery from there?? please provide me full detail cauz i m new in this rooting stuff....
( Main islamabad mn rhta hn i seen u r from Karachi )

Hahaha, Pakistani again?
Well, just flash CWM Recovery using Nokia X Flasher, not manager.
Download CWM Recovery from Android Development Section. And Nokia X Flasher from there too.
