Hi, If you flash with fastboot system.img userdata.img boot.img after wipe data/cache 4.4 kitkat start and work but NO IMEI .. I don t have any idea how to fix it!
I have test it!! camera is 8mp vs 13mp ...
? kernel for fix it or baseband problem?

Have you tried that ? If you dont have IMEI, I think that you can repair with EFS backup ... I had the same problem in my Samsung Galaxy S3 because I downgradered my phone .. and the partition where is EFS dissapeared.. and I had to recover with the las backup of EFS. I hope help you

I have a good reason not to say anything on the matter, not to mention changing every partition will make it 8 gb model and only way to restore it that i know it's too have a att model even than its not without issues.

Yes you can.. There's a hack in AT&T forum where ur phone will become a Nexus 4! But has no point now since we have lots of customisation here

ive tested it, but its some month ago after you have convertet vol. buttons (+ is - and - is+), no signal, no soft keys but onscreen buttons and i thonk 8mpx cam, but i dont started it

Forget it, unless you want to say goodbye to your phone (either because of doing sth wrong or lack of patience because most things will be broken, like camera and modem).
Much better option will be installing gee/geehrc based rom (rom for e975, but built from n4 sources instead of lg sources).

Because we gonna have to unlock the bootloader first....however i wonder if we cant flash. The original rom even with the bootloader locked?

yes.. does have stock base custom rom. I'm using stock base custom rom now of LG OG Pro (korean model F240K running hong kong model E988 stock rom which was done by feiyu)

There are custom roms my F240S had rom which was done by feiyu but it didnt have the value pack ..my bad i didnt save dat rom i updated my phone n lost dat rom...

software version is just a line in a text file under /system/build.prop
so ppl just mod those apks (rooted) and then using dd command to clone those partition and make a CWM zip file
yes, you can say it is customed cook rom, but for the kernel part (boot.img), we are unable to run on LG G Pro, as the boot-loader locked and refuse to boot ...
In short, we are unable to do thing like, UV, OC, or other kernel level mod

I just install the F240LSK rom V7 by FeiYu (zip flash on my F240L) and it's just perfect for me
remove some bloatware and add some good feature
but the best things for a korean F240 like mine are :
no more annoying popup when activating data (roaming warning)
no more korean limitation for sms
no more problem to send mms
no more dial popup to a local call
and other little things
i don't know if i can drop the link of the topic here so tell me if anyone wants it

Well after all, I made this thread to know which rom and kernel are compatible with the LG E977 Movistar Venezuela. I've hard bricked my E977 by converting to Nexus 4 and flashing with the LGNPST a soft brick bin (my fault). The warranty will gave me another LGOG. I've tested the PAC-MAN rom with its default kernel (F93 v0.6). I really like the PAC-MAN because got all the features of my favorite roms. Is posible to flash the Kite kernel in the PAC-MAN rom without get a bootloop or a soft brick? Could you tell me which is your ROM-kernel combination? Thank you

I don't know if flashing that room you will get a bootloop really, but you will not lose your signal because that is the international model

Well apperently you havent been here long. Ive been flashing E988, E986, S240K and all others on my AT&T E980 with light problems but I dont think its going to brick it, But it would be pointless for you to flash yours to something different.

Try flashing CM10.2, as it doesn't flash modem you don't need to reflash modem.img separately..............also one good idea is wipe internal memory before install and cahce/dalvik after install.....

You can install the italian stock rom - kdz file (your phone will probably become a 16gb version)

I haven't used that myself but it does have UX 5 and all G5 UI perks. Have unlocked ur phone's bootloader?

That one is actually a non-rooted rom. The way it works is like flashing a normal LG TOT, just u must be on the version it requires first.
Just watch the tutorials there (and yes, there are) and try to understand what your supposed to do according to that.
Its a full G5 theme, rootless.
Also you wont be voiding your warranty cause you didnt do anything that "ruins" the warranty according to the actual warranty files

So first thing, u need to be on version v20J, but it can be on any H815 variant.
Second of all, when i meant that its like any other TOT flash, you pretty much flash it in the same tool u flash V20J on, just you upgrade and not refurbish.
There is a tutorial in that thread, it may explain it better
And you do know how to use LG Flash Tool, right?
It`s just like installing a normal app and you can uninstall if you dont like and yes it does change the icons and also you get the G5 wallpapers. After you install it go into menu and then just change it under home screen (themes) then you will also get a preview before you apply it... :good:

I dont remember where I found it, its been a while since I downloaded it after searching both Xda and Google for new themes for the G4 as I tought the themes available in LG "store" was boring and more suitable for "kids" ..... So I searched around and found a bunch of different themes I liked and saved them
But just try it and You will see if you like it or not....... , it is easy to uninstall and will not do any "harm" to your phone :fingers-crossed:
But if You really want do customise your phone, I suggest You read up on the different ways to do it here on Xda , there are guides and descriptions of everything You need to know :good:

If you have any of the H815 variants (L/P/T/International [which means nothing after the H815] and etc) you shouldnt have an issue with the rollback. This isnt like with the carrier variants that block it.
Just make sure when you roleback on LG Flash Tool to click Refurbish on the KDZ, and not UPGRADE. I've made that mistake once = it equals soft brick, even though its MUCH easier to unbrick a non-rooted soft brick.

i use both.. only icons i installed normal other i put in rom zip... so its should work if it says normal apps.. yes icons and renzetti is launcher..
