Hey guys I know there is a very similar thread in the Android section but I thought it would fit very well in the Bada category because there aren`t any great All-in-one Messengers for Bada so this might be very helpful. With the following tutorial you can use your Gtalk account to add ICQ, Facebook etc. contacts to Gtalk and chat with them. Even Push notifications are supported (If SHP is active) and everything works very well so far (tested it on the latest Bada 2.0 beta BUKI1).
Tutorial: http://goondroid.com/gtalk-and-transports
Here is a server list if the server in the tutorial doesn`t work:
http://www.jabberes.org/servers/servers_by_times_online.html
(To see right server link swype over with you mouse cursor over the ICQ icon for example)
I used icq.chrome.pl for ICQ and j2j.chrome.pl for Facebook contacts (You have to use XMPP category for Facebook)
The tutorial is for Android devices but works also for Bada
tutorial link was provided by fatjoez, so credits go to him.
I did this with an other tutorial from a German site but I guess should work with this tutorial too.
Have fun...
works good
except some contacts have no name.. they appear as just long strings of numbers
otherwise this rocks!
thanks!

Yes and I have the problem that whenever I delete contacts from Facebook Chat and ICQ (About 200 Contacts) after a while they all show up again as invitations consisting of long strings of numbers in my Talk list.
i want to know if i can copy any text from yahoo messenger conversation panel ?
i also find that gtalk or g+ can't copy text ... i don't know why they forbid us to do this copying job?
another question : i can't send photos(or any files) to the desktop version yahoo messenger using the functions provided by yahoo messenger android version. can anybody succeed on it ?
Hello,
If you say "text mom where are you" it will correctly send an sms to the contact. Is there any way to make it send a whatsapp msg to the contact instead of an sms?
thanks
It would have to be coded into the WhatsApp messenger Since Google doesn't own WhatsApp, then I don't think there is a way as of now.
I'm not familiar with that application, but until Google opens the API for Google Now, it will continue to send through the default SMS application.
Hope this helps!
Unfortunately, Google said at I/O that they don't have any plans to add an API for 3rd party access to Google Now.

This is no longer true. As of Wunderlist's latest update (a third-party to-do app), users now have the option of saving notes to Google Keep OR Wunderlist's through Google Now/Search provided they are installed.
i find google talk to be really crapy, even facebook messenger has more options like sending photos, etc. is there a alternative to google talk app that allows us to use photos?
Google+ Messenger
i use whatsapp with my usa and international friends. i send photo, music and chat with that app.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Kik Messenger is really nice. Shows read and delivered tags also like BBM.
Heavy whatsapp user here.

LINE and KIK messenger
google talk is the CRAPPIEST. I don't know why they don't upgrade that piece of crap to more features like pic and voice messaging -___-
Try LINE messenger. I have been using it for a while. Features include:
-picture messaging
-video messaging
-create groups
-send location
-FREE phone calls to line messenger users
-timelines
-username instead of pin
-custom user ID qr code
-cool stickers
-on all platforms (android/iphone/blackberry/windows)
-lots of other cool customizations

I also use kik messenger, only because it keeps it simple, and saying "kik me" just clicks better. Features include
-picture messaging
-video messaging (with free add on)
-username instead of pin
-group messaging (but you cannot create custom groups)
-on all platforms (android/iphone/blackberry/windows)
-other plugin features such as (sketchy, contact ****r, file****r, ect)

The only issue I have with kik is that ANYONE can message you without having first requested to do so (HUGE privacy flaw) and there are alot of perverted people on it. The perversion wouldn't be a problem if they weren't able to send you messages and pics without having to send a request first.
So far I've been using line the most because of kik's privacy flaw, but I still use kik every now and then with friends who have kik. But line is more customizable. Also, kik looks the most like bbm.
Let me know which you like better
Hope I've helped.:cyclops:
PS: copy links without the xxx's
