Just flashed paranoid androids rom and I'm loving it. I've also tried cm10.2 and loved that one as well. What roms does everyone else prefer?

Vanilla + 4.4 + Nova. Haven't found a single good reason to mod my Nexus 7. Although I do mod my original Galaxy S1, my N7 just feels...right?

I considered updating to 4.4 but I don't know of what all it brings....

Currently I'm on Carbon (deb). Seems to be very stable
Had to try kitkat
Flashed SinLessROM v2.0.0 | 4.4 last night working great so far. I like the ok google voice search and google now integration.
SlimRom 4.4.2. build 2.6 with ElementalX 2.6 kernel. Before this I had carbon rom and the only big difference i noticed is: i can't find setting for keyboard cursors/arrows in navigation bar when typing. Otherwise they are both stable enough for daily use.
I would like to try carbon again but i cannot find new nightlies(2014) for deb.

I read and basically checked almost all the available ROMs with 4.2.1 base. So far I can only find 2, rasbeanjelly and overdrive.
Can anyone else offer any other inverted ROM options or experience with the above ROMs.
Eclipse 3.1 is another.

Anyone running into problems running. Final fantasy dimensions with JB4.2.2 ?
I just go to blank screen. Worked smooth as heck in 4.2.1 any responses would rock thanks.then I can tell if it is my custom CM10.1 linaro ROM or if it is in fact JB 4.2.2 . Thanks again
I get the same thing on my Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus on 4.2.2, both AOKP.
Sounds like 4.2.2 issues. Try messaging Square Enix about the issue.

Works fine for me... I'm on PA latest nightly (non test builds) with Metallice's M-Kernel.

I did, their first response was to uninstall and reinstall it. After that didn't work they said to "check my status bar auto-hide settings." Still didn't help. Now i'm going back and forth with them trying to get a refund.
I would try another Rom before refunding because it is a great game.

I noticed that after applying certain themes that FF Dimensions won't boot past a black screen, but when I apply the stock theme it fires right up. Right now I'm running Smooth ROM 5 but I have tried with others including CM 10.1.

Install the stable CM 10.2.1...
KitKat based roms still suffer from issues...
I installed the new nightly for CM 11. Seems pretty good so far. Camera works nice. A lil laggy here n there but not crashing app or restarting phone. Haven't tried video rec

Thanks, I'll try that next
I just installed 4.4.2 Gummy Kang rom on my old Nook color and on my newer Hisense Sero 7 pro and am really impressed with this rom. Is there any devs thinking about possibly developing this rom for the gt-n5110? I would be happy to give any feedback on the rom for you along with logs if needed.
What other roms are as light yet as full featured as Gummy? I would be interestested. I have tried most of the roms in the note 8 section and none are quite like this rom.
Thank you for any and all input.

What is this ROM?
What are the key features of this ROM as compared with CM11.0? Many thanks for sharing your experience
It is very smooth and has custom features that you would normally have to load Xposed Modules to obtain. Such as customizable notification bar and drop down window for starters. It's like carbon rom or pacman but much lighter and I think smoother.

Which Rom is better between CM11 and SlimKat.
SlimKat here works great.

Cm11 because it patches the stagefright vulnerability, also it has better battery life.
Both good roms. Personally, I prefer slimkat because its really fast, I use the slimpie controls and im getting less play services crashes. Why not try them both? I have 2 nandroid backups just in case I want to switch it up. Hopefully someday we'll have dual boot...
In general what are the differences between SlimROM and CM? I see both for several devices, but I never tried flashing SlimROM. I assume both as very similar since they're both AOSP based.
This is all against XDA etiquette really. Flash both, check it out for yourself. Go with the one you like.
Before I used to use CM11 but now I am currently using slim kat. I think that slim kat is better it has more customization.
