yea it sticks fine but, just move it too much or it just falls out.Beats opening the flap all the time!
this is the one i have from amazon
this one seems to work pretty well too...
i have my phone sitting landscape in a Wii U gamepad dock (only $7 from nintendo and works great for any phone/device).
however the cable i bought/use from Amazon is this one:

magnets are decent and not too strong however it does only fit one way though.
Is there a way to disable screen rotation with a magnetic charger? It seems as if using it overrides the setting since normally that means it sits in the dock, but I don't want my screen to rotate, if I lie on my side and want to use my phone it rotates and I can't really use it that way..
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Has anyone found a longer magnetic cable. I can't seem to find any that are more than 15 inches (40cm). I'd like one about twice that length. It seems so short compared to all my other cables.

Use my Disable Desk Dock Xposed module, it also fixes conflicts caused by using the cable while the device is in car mode.

Brought a magnetic usb cable through ebay, first time it started charging. Second attempt it just makes the screen go black n reboots.

Just received my flip - cover.
The design is good, controlling the thickness well by removing the original back cover.
May I know is there any way to quickly sleep the note 2 by flip-covering it, just like a netbook.

It doesn't actually lock the device though does it? Just uses the proximity sensor to shut the screen off.
Got the note 2 a week ago and just noticed the s pen is not working on part of the screen while I was playing with it in s note. Very strange. Any thoughts?

part of the screen is lower right of screen, like a 3 mm triangle? then it's normal.
I searched online and the problem is identified. Its the magnitic flip case that distorted the area directly above it. Is this going to have a long term damage to the s pen function?

Thank you that I saw your post and isolated the problem. yes it was the magnetic buttons that was causing the screen to behave improperly at one particular location. I have removed the magnets and now its ok.

Hi,
I have an xperia arc screen less ( it was broken, and I remove it)
I'd like to use it like a mini tv-pc, using the hdmi port and an OTG cable to connect a mouse and keyboard.
Has anyone any suggestions to give me?

Did you try to press power button to se if its turned on at all?if the lock screen shows up try to unlock it with mouse.

With a Sim card in, the phone can receive calls, so it would be on....
I tried to unlock it by moving mouse but it's hard...I can't do it
Is there a way to by-pass the lock-screen?

slide down the status bar and press the settings button and settings should pop up without you actually having to 'slide to unlock'. In settings you can also disable screen lock.

But how can daydream in 4.2 be not bad for the screen?
Wouldn't it burn out the screen much faster than not using it?

Absolutely, which is why there are available options such as setting it to only enter daydream mode when docked or charging.

My apologies, I read your statement as it being detrimental to battery.
i wouldnt worry about it messing up the screen unless u expect to keep the phone for the next 5 years, which i highly doubt. i would worry more about battery life because the last time i tried daydream it was using more power than my phone was charging
I use my ion as a HTPC with the smartdock. I've noticed that since I installed JB when I fire up the ion and view it on the TV the scaling is off. the edges are being cut off. Top, bottom and edges. It's not bad but still annoying. There are no settings on the TV to adjust the size.
Never had this issue with ICS. Can anyone else confirm the same issue?

I havent used my dock after updating to jellybean(which was 2 days ago). I can check when i get home and get back to you(in about 6 hours more or less)

You can edit the resize in setting when connecting it through HDMI I think...forgot through SERVICE or through setting in notification
