I've been looking everywhere but haven't found if anybody has ported the galaxy nexus camera over my phone I747M! I like that camera so much more than Samsung's! If anyone have a link where to download it so I can flash it that would be awesome!
Thanks in advance!!

If you're running any AOSP ROM, you should have the Galaxy Nexus camera app, which is also the stock Android app.
So, in short, try flashing ROMs like AOKP or CM 10.

Any way to run aristodemos with nexus camera??

I installed CM10.1 but photosphere is not available in the camera app. Does anybody know what I need to do to enable it? I currently have the 4.2 camera with photosphere enabled installed alongside the camera app that comes with CM10.1.
Photosphere isn't included yet in the latest cm 10.1 nightly. There are other workaround but the app seems to be unstable sometimes.
Yeah the only way would be to flash the camera app or flash a different gapps package.

Flash pa gapps

Photosphere is proprietary Google software and not part of AOSP. CM is an AOSP-based ROM and only includes the AOSP camera/gallery with several tweaks, mods and fixes, but it will not include Photosphere.
To get Photosphere, you need to flash the Stock ROM camera/gallery app with the required libraries. PA's Google Apps Pack has this. If you need, I could share an update zip with just the files needed to enable Photosphere capabilities.
Also, Focal, the camera app created by the Cyanogen team, has a feature similar to Photosphere which is open-source.
Enjoy.. share it with your friends and don't thank me, just spread the love.

Anyone tested? Does it works?
Can someone please help me, I can't take any photos on my N7 2013 with PA 4.4 AOSP ROM, the stock camera app comes up black with the ui and sometime disappears from the app drawer and any other third party app gives me an error message. I'm curious to know if this is because of the fact that Google haven't released the 4.4 binaries or its just me? Any help would be appreciated, thanks

This is a binary issue. All of the 4.4 ROMs for the N7 have this problem.

Won't be fixed till Google releases binaries for our device. Known issue they even talk about in the 4.4 pa thread that you probably downloaded that rom from. Better reading next to time.
Good, then we shall fight in the shade!
Me too

I have same problem.
4.4 ****t doesn't work my N7 device...mmmm
Is it possible to get Google camera with the lens blur, pano and photosphere options working on custom roms? I tried the slim roms fix and that didn't do a thing. I try and use lens blur and it force closes after taking a picture and I use panorama or photosphere and the viewfinder is just grey. Any help?

I think he meant google camera for stock rom. It's not currently supported AFAIK. And for custom ROM, you can try any aosp based such as omni, Lego, carbon gee, pa gee etc. Currently I'm using carbon gee and lego ROM, and it's working flawlessly. Just don't use slim & slim gapps, since they modified the camera lib files.

What ROM and gapps are you using?
You guys can try my light gapps it only has basic gapps like playstore and basic google libs so no camera or other apps from google. Its less then 20mb. And i have from 4.1.2 till 4.4.2
The new google camera was for 4.4 or higher i believe.
I have found an link from an member on xda who have edited the camera a bit to work on4.2.2 should also work on 4.1.2 and 4.3 read the op and post 150.
Edit: sorry for the people who read this forgot to put the link in hurry. Here it is

Does the preview look correct in 13mp mode or is it stretched out under the shutter button? This is a problem for me (on the Sprint variant but also on a gee rom).

Yes, almost all Gee/geeb roms have this issue. The only one i've tried that doesn't have this issue is octokat for geeb, but their max image size is 12MP. So that MIGHT be the "fix".
Can't remember lol switched ROMs again already battery life just doesn't do it for me
