My company is requiring that all phones that sync email have to be encrypted. What is the expected impact? My 1st thought is that all updates will fail and it will be impossible to flash a new ROM (without unencrypting, flashing, then re-encrypting.)
Thoughts?

Hi all, just found this website for apps - seems a bit dodgy to me but what do you think? Too good to be true?

Hello. I want to use my Galaxy Nexus as a bluetooth handset with my desktop meaning using it for Google calls and Skype etc. I paired my Nexus with my desktop BT but under services it is empty. I can tether my Nexus to my desktop for data but I cannot seem to tether it with my desktop as a "phone" handset via BT. I just want to be able to answer in coming calls that are coming to my desktop and that is all but it seems impossible. Thanks for any help/ideas.
What's a Galaxy Nexus 2? lol

You will need to change the port through your DSL configuration page(192.zzz.z.254).

If you mean via 3G/4G Mobile Data I don't believe it is possible.
Forward port 80 to what device for what reason.

This link has a good explanation of things.
This app says it can forward ports if your public IP is ping-able, but it has bad reviews.

Ran into an odd situation, if I swap physical phones on my account can I do it while being touted on CM10 or would I have to go back to stock? Thanks on Sprint

Do you mean getting a new phone on the same Google account or..?

Yep I used an upgrade on one of my 5 phones and want to swap devices. Not sure if I need to go stock so when they re provision with numbers things go smoothly
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Should be fine as is.
You don't need to be stock to swap plans or move devices around to other lines in your account.
The only time you want to revert to stock is if for a warranty repair through the carrier. A lot of times they don't even care but a rom can introduce weird bugs that can be mistaken for hardware malfunctions.

When they end of life a device they still usually replacements. When you return yours they will repair it and turn it back around as a replacement for the next person having issues. Kind of self sustaining that way.

They still have an ample supply of CLNR devices for replacements.

I've received 2 CLNR in the past 2 weeks, so you don't have to worry unless you get junk ones like I have been.

Were they the 16gb or 32gb models?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
32gb. They weren't in bad shape appearance wise. The first one had charging issues and the one I just got has the power button sunken in so far that it's hard to turn on and off. I think I'm just unlucky.

Lmao yup. Literally just got a 32gb replacement in. Has charging issues out of the box. Done dealing with them though. If I send this back I want to say I will be on my 7th nexus. 5 of which shipped faulty. No sh*t. Other two were my own fault but still...
Looking into the wireless charging mod:thumbup:
I had sent my original one for warranty work, and got slapped with $300 replacement fee because of "slight corrosion on USB/Headphone port from moisture"(exact words from the RMA department at Verizon), which then they deem it water damaged
I sent it in for a 3G radio issue, which they did confirm was a problem.
