Hey guys I need help with where I can download the stock kernel of GT-N7100, can't seem to find it anywhere.

yes u can download stock kernel from this site by click download and you can download the stock firmware and download stock kernel

[Q] Galaxy Note 2 (N7100) Rebooted On Its Own and Now Is Stuck At Startup Screen

Please help. My Galaxy Note 2 suddenly rebooted on its own and is now stuck showing the logo screen. It has never been rooted, but it did restart itself once before about a week ago. I wasn't too worried because everything worked alright after that. But now it's done it again and it won't get past the logo screen no matter what I do. I've tried getting it into recovery mode using volume up + home + power but it won't show up. I've also tried ODIN flashing it, but ODIN tells me I have no Pit Partition. I've had the phone since October last year... I never got an update from Samsung, which is odd, because everyone else I know that has the phone has had an update on their's.

And in that case you need mother board replacement.
Anyway what exactly you can read in rt upper corner while device in download mode?

I requested this information earlier from OP's G+ post. Not sure what to make of it and I don't know if it's possible to root the device without being able to boot.

This is sds, don't do anything and send to service station. Sorry to say mate, it's bricked.

Darn... Can't believe the thing didn't even last me a year. I've been so nice to it too... Got it a nice case and everything. LOL

This is well known bug on note2, unfortunately you may not aware of it, old 4.1.1 have this issue and samsung have patched it in jan 13 with new 4.1.2 firmware. But as you said you never got that. Anyway you can update to any country rom if your region doesn't get updates. Read all in one thread in my signature.

Will I still be able to do the update from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 with the all in one thread you shared?

I hv no cwm.when I go to recovery..,, 1 reboot system now., 2 apply update from adb.,, 3.apply update from ex.storage.4. Wipe data/factory reset.5 wipe cache partition..6 apply update from cache...plz I hearly request u give me a way.how I reflash..waitng fr ur answer

You have to flash rom in download mode with pc odin.
Read all in one thread in my signature. Download stock rom and flash. Instructions are available on thread
After reflashing, still you may stuck to samsung logo, but you will have recovery. From recovery wipe cache and data and after that it should boot normally.

You don't need motherboard replacement, you just need reflashing stock rom.

i'll suggest u send it samsung service centre its not ur prob. u got a brand new device, if in case they don't cooperate with u than u can flash stock rom on ur own.......

I'm really skeptical about this being a hardware issue... I wasn't doing anything when it decided to start "boot looping". Is there really no workaround to a stock N7100 getting fixed after a soft brick like I'm experiencing? I can still boot up, it's just stuck looping.

After flash didnt work wifi..

Now change your modem and kernel. From hurricane modem changer v4, flash mk1 modem and see what happens. Report

If your rom is ml3/ml4 based(see it on settings/about device/build number), flash patched ml3/ml4 kernel, if mk1/mk4/mk9 flash same patched kernel. You'll find the patche tool on that thread. The thread is only 12 page, read.

Sorry for my bad english,but how i can ?! Im newbie in android "world".

In that thread, there is a way mentioned to patch kernels and modems. Try to understand the method, if possible take help of someone who knows English well.

[Q] KitKat Help please :)

I'm Rooted on 4.3 with CWM now I wanna go to 4.4.2 with the new modem so what the best way for me to do this without loosing anything? & with that unlimited tethering mod do I just flash that?

Then pick a 4.4.2 ROM from the developers section.

But I'm on the 4.3 Bootloader so it won't work for me

On page one of the modem thread somebody says:
"This can also be flashed if you are running a non-stock kitkat rom with the MK2 bootloader and want to try your luck with the new kitkat modem (gsm). Unless I'm missing something."

Have you considered using Odin to flash the stock 4.3 image, and then taking the update and then rooting etc.?

Organized by device and carrier. But the latest official rom has a very unfriendly bootloader and security system. Think twice amigo.
