Hi. Thought I'd share this link I found on G+ with you guys. It's an Unofficial build of CM11(KitKat) for T Mobile Galaxy Note 2. I own the Att I317 but I'm going to give this a try later. I believe this should work on our device also.
You should flash this with ClockworkMod recovery 6.0.4.3,
4.4 gapps. You may need to flash Superuser for root permission.
Thanks to dw9906

Thanks for informing us!!
I'm thinking about making a flashable zip that changes the build.prop and whatnot to reflect our device, yes?
I just flashed this with Clockwork mod 6.0.4.3 with a set of my own gapps. So far everything seems to be working. Video, sound, WiFi, cell service, camera, recognizes external sd, Att APN was already set. Smooth so far. In about phone it shows my device as a T-Mo galaxy note 2 sgh-t889.

I recorded a video and just uploaded it to YouTube. 4.4 is running very smoothly.
http://youtu.be/SGQWJi9lUsM
For an unofficial build, this is surprisingly good. The camera auto focus/auto flash has the same issue as 10.2 but is do-able by tap-to-focusing every time you want to take a picture. It is very smooth and has most of the CM features. On the lookout for bugs now and performance now...
Art doesn't seem to work for me. Had to wipe and reinstall everything. Keeping it on dalvik for now.

Lol. I actually shaved it a little to test the 4.4 roms. I added some more libs and files. And I took out some apps. I haven't even added the magic touch to it yet that makes Spec-Gapps what it is.

I recommend Banks Gapps
I use TWRP. I recommend you do the same
(Actually, I use TWRP-MultiRom. It's awesome. Check it out.)

If you want to build on your own:
Do this: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Build_for_mako
and replace this line: repo init -u git://github.com/CyanogenMod/android.git -b cm-11.0 with this line:
repo init -u git://github.com/CarbonDev/android -b kk
and then anytime you see the word 'mako' replace it with 't0ltetmo'

Is there a recommended volume hack for this ROM?
As much as I love this ROM I noticed that volumes are significantly lower than other ROMs that I have tried.
Can anyone recommend a volume hack that works well with this ROM?
Thanks!

If you want to have the ability to move apps to your sd card natively, then you might want to download an international TW rom. As for 4.3 aosp the only way would be to use something like folder mount or any other apps that serve the same function.

This is the pre-alpha thread of OmniROM for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (l900). More information can be found here.
This build is very bare bones at the moment. Don't let flashing this now turn you down from trying it again in the future, a lot of changes are coming soon. I would still consider this much more of a tester than a daily driver unless bare bones is your style. The rom is very smooth and fast though probably for that very same reason.

What doesn't work:
You tell me!
Installation method:
Wipe all if coming from another rom
Flash OmniROM
Flash GApps
Reboot
This rom does not come with root by default. Flash SuperSU in recovery if you want root!
Flash at your own risk! No one else is responsible if your device bursts into flames
To try out multiwindow, go to recents and long press an app. Click add to split view and repeat to add another app. Keep in mind its still buggy at the moment
Have fun and enjoy!

And I just flashed this. Liking it so far. I have been on TW for a while. May have to switch.

I cannot get this to work for the life of me, TWRP always gives me an error message before it finishes flashing the rom. TWRP is then screwed up to the point that I can't wipe or restore anything until I dirty flash a 4.3 rom. No biggie though, I'm psyched we have builds to toy with this early! Thanks!
Edit: Perhaps I'll try CWM, though I haven't used it for ages.

How so? It flashes right away for me and works pretty much completely just a few bugs. ....like the ringing issue, no texts unless using hangouts, no led while charging, being those few things i haven't had any problems with it ran it all day yesterday. ...just this morning went back to stock
