I just installed ParanoidAndroid Sabertooth 3.99, updated the Radio to GA02 and installed GAPSS pa_gapps-full-4.3-20131102-signed.zip
The only thing i have noticed thus far is that Google Now does not work. It shows that there is an update fro it in Google Play but will not install. When i try to open Google Now it says: Unfortunately, Google Search has stopped. When i try to update it through the market, during installation it says: Package file was not signed correctly. Uninstall the previous copy of the app and try again.
So, is it ok to use titanium or something to force uninstall of this service and install the one from Google Play? Or should i use the older version of GAPPS and try updating the software?

This is for the LDE update. Ive got 6 apps that when trying to update from the market, it doesnt update and says package not signed properly.
The apps Im having problems with are:
Adobe flash player 11
Gmail
Google search
Google Shopper
Street View for Google maps
Youtube
I have tried disabling Lookout as well so it appears the error is coming from android. Im using Whitehawkx's [ROM][STOCK] Deodexed T989UVLDE [5.23.2011] off rootzwiki. I dont know if it matters but the market included in the ROM hasnt updated to PlayStore yet. I do not have it frozen.
Any ideas?
Exact same thing happened to me. I read somewhere to delete the apk from /system/apps with Root Explorer or the like and reinstall via the market. When I tried that with gmail, I just hit an error from the market about the update being incorrect. I ended up just going back to Tuesday.
Hello,
I've recently upgraded my Sony Xperia Acro S to android 5.0. Everything was fine, until i tried to install google play store. I downloaded .apk file from apkmirror, installed it, everything seemed fine, but when I try to open it, the app just shows a white window and immediately shuts down. It doesn't even load or anything. I tried to download different versions of google play store - new and old ones, and tried to import the apk file from computer but result is the same for every version. Any tips/ suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Google apps don't work that way. You need to flash them via recovery, and they are separate for separate Android versions. If You are on Android 5.0, You need to flash these gapps via TWRP, and if on 5.1, then these gapps. Although You need to uninstall play store completely first.
I have I927ULCJ3 firmware [4.0.4] and all my apps are reporting that i dont have google services installed,
when i try to update it via google store i get error message -- “Incompatible with other applications(s) using the same shared user ID”
So i tried to install "new" gapps zip with CWRM but it didnt help,
Can you give me link to compatible google apps version for android 4.0.4 [ now i have some older googleapps version...]
and some advice how to fix this problem thx,
This may help:
go to Settings---> Apps---> All---> Google Play Store ---> uninstall updates
Hello,
What version of google play services is needed for HTC One (M8); android version 6.0.1; cyanogenmod 13.0. I had to uninstall it as it wouldn't let me do anything, just kept saying it had stopped continually after an update. Just need to know what version to download, thanks.
Just download newest version from playstore.
Hi,
I'm trying to install the latest Google Phone app from APK Mirror (it does not show up in the play store) but I always get the "Application not installed" error. I tried different versions of the apk but the result is the same.
I was able to install other Google apps to replace the default Samsung ones (like messenger and calendar) but not the phone app.
Note: My phone is the international version with the latest Samsung firmware, no root.
Has anyone installed it already?
There is an older version that works on Samsung phones. The latest version doesn't.

None of the versions I've tried works...
