How do I update my rooted T999? - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Hi
Sorry, I'm no expert in these stuffs, I know the basics.
So, I have a rooted s3, T999, running 4.1.1
Recently, I want to update my phone to get the multi windows feature, since I'm rooted, I can't.
Can someone tell me how can I update it safely, with out bricking my phone,?
I saw someone did it.

Use Odin to return to stock.

Use the search function....probably about 10+ threads showing you detailed steps on how to do this.

As per this sticky http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1736474 I'd say no.
The euro s3 also has a quad core, while we have a dual core so I doubt there are enough similarities to cross roms.
I'm currently on a captivate patiently waiting to upgrade to an s3, so I've been doing some reading.

You'll have to get the mods to move it.

I'm pretty curious as to why you'd even want to do this.

[Q] New to android

Just got my note 2 for US Cellular and I want to know how to get the multiview on my phone. I'm coming from an iPhone (jailbroken). I guess my question is how to get the newest jellybean update or is there an to get multiview without updating to the newest jellybean 4.1.2? Also will I be able to do this on a Mac computer? Thanks in advance
lesson one read the sticky posts ------>http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1992947
android isn't like iPhone, sprint stuff will only work for sprint phones, just like samsung stuff will only work for samsung phones... either wait for ota update or go to the us cellular forums

Personally, I would avoid the newest "leak" update. The newest official update will come to the phone when you've had in turned on for about an hour, enables the multiview.

[Q] US cellular SGS3 4.1.1

I was wondering if the sprint root still works on the US cellular SCH-R530U SGS3 after applying the 4.1.1 OTA update
if so, is Qbking77's youtube video still the best way to do it?
I know im still a noob, but please bear with me, its worth asking to save a $600 phone.
Go ask the sprint section

Lte Verizon gpad

Are there any roms for v810 lte yet. Is it worth rooting and flashing? I know with root I can remove bloatware. Its still running 4.2.2.

This is a great place to start: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2759270. We are very fortunate to have anything at this point and the ROM will get better if Verizon releases a KitKat update for our VK810's.
Because its Verizon the bootloader locked?

If you read the Verizon LTE thread in the general section, there is an exploit for the boot loader, doesnt matter if its locked
Problem would be the lack of developers. I consider myself a junior developer, don't have that much experience with android kernel/building yet... Other more accomplished devs either are too busy or can't get their hands on this Verizon exclusive device. One way would be having someone willing to send their device to a Dev willing to spend time to fix cm11, or have community contribute enough money for that Dev to buy a device from a Verizon store/ craigslist
I'm still running 4.2.2 I'm trying to root using kingo but the USB debug option isn't highlighted I can't turn it on.
I want to run cm11 I have the lte gpad

flash another variant rom on my g2

im sure its been asked and i apologize in advance. just trying to make sure i have complete clarity on this. i currently have the sprint g2 and have flashed the tmobile rom for it that was made for this g2. however, i was wondering if roms from the other carriers work as well? i love the tmobile rom but i need bluetooth. aside from that my visual voicemail and wifi calling are awesome.
any tthoughts would be greatly appreciated.
thanks!!!
currently have 38 looks and no responses....
You can flash other Roms I believe just have to unlock it. Verizon and such won't work as will neither international types.
Look in the sprint g2 development. I believe there is a thread on unlocking. I'm sprint so I don't really read the stuff I don't need.

so att and tmobile variant roms will work? can anyone confirm this?
As long as they run on the same band. You don't want a different modem planned and really break the phone
