I originally bought a 16GB nexus 7 which updated fine, yesterday i received a 32Gb as i was running out of space to find this thing won't update because it stuck on JWR66N build date Jun.
Looks like the 32GB i received was one of the first batch
Is there any easy way to force this to either the latest build of 4.3 or Kitkat 4.4?
No matter figured out how to update it manually, Now running JSS15R is this the latest before kitkat?
Yes its the latest 4.3 before kitkat 4.4

Hi,
Yesterday I bought a brand new Nexus 7 (2013) LTE version. I want to flash the new Android 4.4 to my tablet before I use it. I found this link https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#razorg which has Android 4.4 factory image for the device (TGZ file)
Factory Images "razorg" for Nexus 7 [2013] (Mobile)
4.4 (KRT16O) 441MB
How can I flash this file

Thank you very much, my Nexus 7 runs Android 4.4 now.
I have my N7 (2013) since last May. It is completely stock.
A few weeks ago I had the 4.4.3 OTA update but no 4.4.4 yet.
Does anyone know why is that? As long as the 4.4.4 is the last update shouldn't it come directly "skipping" the 4.4.3?
Can I do anything except flashing it myself?
Thnx in advance

I have Nexus 7 2013 running on Android 4.4.4 and I didn't receive the OTA update of Android lollipop yetis that normal?
Have you checked any of the other threads asking the same question? There's several on the very first page.
Hey folks,
Somehow my 2013 Nexus 7 w/ LTE got skipped on updates. It is still running 4.4.4. This is even after a device reset recently, which I thought may "kick" the update to occur. It is not rooted or running any custom ROMs. So I will just need to do this on my own. I bought the device directly from Google and had it on the Verizon network for the last year or two, if that means anything.
So now I am looking to manually update it to 5.1 and beyond.
1) Will I be able to go directly from 4.4.4 to the most recently 5.1 release (I saw something with a Stagefright fix was recently release by Google), or will I need to go from 4.4.4 to 5.0 to 5.1?
2) Should the directions to install the releases be similar to those I frequently see that explain how to install a new update before Google OTA's it?
Thanks for the assistance!
