[Q] Is Stock Android 4.4 AOSP in Development? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Is Stock/Pure/Clean (No Need For TW) Android 4.4 AOSP in or coming into Development for the Galaxy Note 3 T-Mobile SM-N900T?
To Clarify- XDA Development Not Samsung.
If so I would like links to donate to Devs.
I don't care about TW Features/Software just Clean/Stock Android 4.4 KitKat.
-Yes I saw a similar post but it didn't have a clear answer so please don't turn this thread into a convoluted tread about anything other then 4.4 pure android running on the Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900T. Thanks!

Of course it is, just takes time to port everything over & also devs to buy this expensive phone. Donate to them when they open their threads up in the original android development section.

[Q] Android Develeopment Vs. Original Android Development?

I noticed there are two separate forums for Android development for the Note II.
Why is that? What does 'Original Android' mean in this context?
I have frequented other device forums but have not come across these two separate forums for any device (that I have used).
From what I've seen that refers to original rooms and mods built for/from the note 2 as opposed to ports from other devices

I believe the android development section is meant for stuff based on the Samsung software, where original android development is meant for the stuff that isn't based on the Samsung software, like cyanogenmod.

The thing is,what ever you create from scratch goes into original android Dev section while whatever you develop my modifying existing source/code goes into android development
For example:cyanogen mod being build from scratch and a kernel build from scratch goes into original android dev section while custom roms depending on Sammy stock roms cm sources or kernels depending already existing custom kernel sources goes into android development

Thanks for the replies guys!
I guess its a new thing XDA is implementing since other devices (that I have owned) do not have this distinction; all the ROMS are released under one forum.

Actually, this is a practice that has been going on for a year or so, it started with the Samsung S2, and spread to other popular devices.

[Q] Android OS from S4 to S3

There has been a lot of talk about the new Galaxy S4 coming out with pure stock Android OS. Is there a Galaxy S3 equivalent?

Yes. It's called an AOSP (based) ROM. Search in Dev section and you shall find all your answers.
Just when you think you know something about anything...
You get hit with reality. I knew that...was a stupid question. Thanks for sharing the knowledge.
Just keep in mind everything there is built on leaks or ports from other devices. Nothing is built from original source so vendor files and other things are modified so is most lte files. While you will find some aosp roms almost bug free there are actually none which are because of the lack of source.

[Q] different between "Original Development" to Development

What is the different between these 2 threads? :
T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4 Android Development
T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4 Original Android Development
The items in the original development section are based on aosp.

Not really just because they're AOSP.

So, as one who come from Xperia where I can find better roms and news, in the original development (aosp) or in development thread?

It all depends on what you're looking for. Both sections have great ROM.

Check out BOTH areas because you will sell yourself short if you don't. Also some i9505 roms work with tmobile m919 so check out that too. I'm currently running a i9505 rom as my daily on my m919. Its called bobcat.i really like it. Check it out if you like themed roms. But do try these places mentioned and don't stick with just one area. So many great roms. Have fun

Cyanogenmod 4.4 General Discussion.

I have many questions about android 4.4 and I am sure many others do also. I have created this thread as an information database for AOSP 4.4. Also for any information regarding KitKat making its way to T-Mobile Note 3 and how development is coming along.
If its a Q&A shouldn't it be in the Q&A section? Rename it to Android 4.4 General Discussion, it sounds better

Regarding kit Kat making it way to gn3 it will probably be minimum 3 months but more than likely 6+ and probably the one of two point updates we see. I am enthused about 4.4 but not Samsung giving it to us right away. Eager to see Google wallet on our phones though.

Since the Nexus 5 is using the same chipset as the Note 3, getting some things going won't be as difficult. I'd give it 2 months before we see a "stable" enough build. I personally don't considering AOSP builds 100% stable as there seems to be bugs with them, IF it's running on a NON-Nexus device... Just a personal feeling on it though...
But those who do want AOSP, it won't take as long as some may think. Note 3 is the only device that's really really new still, G2's been out a little bit, if I'm not mistaken. But like I said, Nexus 5 uses S 800, like the Note 3. It'll come sooner than some may think....

4.4 rom

Would love to know if any one of you great devs working on bringing 4.4 kit kat for our gs3?
In due time. Aosp was just released and only the Nexus devices are running it.
We just got 4.3 Touch wiz so keep in mind Kitkat will be AOSP when you do see it.

Yeah I know, we'll probably have to wait for CM too
Probably by the end of year we will see nice 4.4 roms everywhere. Right now I want the official tmo 4.3, been thinking on getting a gear
There's already a discussion thread for 4.4 kitkat here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45858953
Thank you
EFM
Have a great day!
