CF's SuperSU Download Link - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

I'm sorry if this has been posted before or if this infringes on CF's posting rules. I couldn't find where it was, so I did my googling to find the link for people that were asking. I couldn't post this in the thread that people were asking either, because I'm a "new" user of these forums.

You mean this one that is readily available adn easily downloaded from the Play Store?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.supersu&hl=en

No, you have to have the zip to reinstall superus for the Kitkat KangBang. The playstore apk will still give you errors.

Thanks.
Lost Root when I flashed kit kat.
The link provided in the original forum didn't work for me.
Thanks again.

Why would I?
I have root access, therefore I have no need for an updated version.
Edit: they're the same version.

Anyway to answer OP question, you root with the same method....regardless of your update. I did however hear that you might need a newer version of su.
Not su 3.0.5 but some other version....don't know where to get it either but maybe someone can help you from here. In summary.....SAME METHOD DIFFERENT SUPERUSER FILE VERSION.

Unroot Sprint Galaxy S3

I am trying to unroot(phone problems) and I am unable to find a link to stock firmware. The links on this site are broken. Can someone point me in the right direction?
I have the same issue. Anyone have a mirror or the files they can upload somewhere?
Have you guys checked this thread out?

Also try installing supersu from the market. Update and update the binaries. Then uninstall the app. According to the dev by simply uninstalling it from the app manager it will cause you to lose root.

[Q] How can I install this apk? GT-N7105 Unrooted

Hi All!
This is my first post here and I hope some experts can help me out. I'm new to Android so please excuse me if I have asked a simple or silly question here.
Alright, my question is...I have an untouched apk file extracted (not by me) from GT-N7100 (TGY region) stock rom (sorry I cannot attach it to the post as its over 8mb and I cannot post download links yet). Basically, this apk file is a font package present in the GT-N7100 stock rom but got left out of the GT-N7105 stock rom. I have tried installing it on my GT-N7105 but it just keeps say 'application not installed'. My device is not rooted and due to the stock rom for my device not being available for download yet, I'm holding off rooting just incase I need to unroot for warranty issues. So, could someone please help and shed some light on how I can install this apk without rooting my device?
Many thx!
U can't that's one of the many things rooting let's u do

Thx! Guess i have no choice but to root. Just have to wait for the stock rom to appear first.

OTA update over rooted device?

I was reading that there's an OTA update launching (currently only in Germany), and I was wondering, so i would know in the future, if I could update my rooted S4. Would the software update interfere with root? Will it take it off or what?
I'm on stock rom btw

Most likely you would loose ROOT with an OTA update.
The only way you would not loose root with an OTA update
would be if the update did not contain a kernel.
Good luck!
You can't update if you're rooted. Just wait for the devs to incorporate the update into their roms.

Did some research.
You can update if you have root, but you will lose root, just like the second post said. I use a the stock rom, I don't use any custom roms so I can't depend on your second statement.

^^^ what he said
Get the latest firmware from Sammobile, install it via Odin, check the "keep root" option, voilà, now you have the latest stock rooted rom on the block.
