Hard Brick - Help Needed

Today I decided to flash a new kernel, but I brick my phone, the phone doesn't start now, and I can't go into download mode.
Anyone has a solution?
Sry for bad English.

What kernel you use?
Try enter in recovery mode, and flash again CM9 if u have the zip. Or clean cache and data (factory reset) and wipe dalvik cache

You can't enter in recovery mode?

I think he flash ics kernel to gingerbread, all mess up. If you can't enter recovery or download the only way is bring your phone to ssc they will replace your machine like what they do to me.

It's a big chance you have to send it back to Samsung as hard-bricked means that you may have to replace the entire mainboard.

try this..
pull out your baterry-hold volume down,home button and power-connect the charger/usb cable.. if download mode appear flash any GB rom using odin..

if they know that you costumize your phone, you will have to pay..

How about trying a USB jig and goin into download mode?

did you connect to charger/usb cable-hold the three button together and and put the battery again??
i've tried this method before and this works for me..
edit : sorry i forgot to mention put the battery again..

2x hardbrick 2x tried this method and works..

But as I heard, we wouldn't be able to start our phone anymore after it is hard-bricked, I only head there is a solution for hard-brick caused by Odin for Samsung Vibrant.

just instal back original update software by LG mobile support tool

i knew this app from google play "OTA KEEPER", it can unroot and backs up root file easily. But i don't try it!
Anyone has experience on this app??????/:laugh:

Easiest way for unroot is with SuperSU from chainfire.
Just install the app,go to settings and choose unroot.your device will reboot and will be clean.

{Q} flashing kdz and rooting

hello i have rooted previously using the universal root thing. now there is a new OTA update for my phone from 10f to 10g.
Phone info:
Android ver: 4.1.2
Baseband Ver: APQ8064/MSM9x15M
Kernel Ver: 3.4.0
Build Number: jZ054K
Software Ver: E97510f-525-05
Telco: Starhub(singapore)
my question is, which method (LGNPST or lg support tool?) should i use to flash the kdz? and will the root method above still work for it?

because i rooted my phone, i need to unroot it before update. so flash kdz= unroot?

Yu can update using lg pc suite or lg support tool.... Nyways in both cases yu lose root....!!

please help me i used the kdz updater software, and it crashed at unpacking kdz. now my phone is in download mode, and no matter what i do i cant exit it

Flashing with kdz updater will erase everything.
Using Lg mobile tool, it will not.However, to be safe, copy sensitive data on pc and backup your apps with Titanium or any other app.After backup, copy the backup folder on pc too.
Only after you've done this, proceed to next step and flash stock rom. @nuker, why the hell would you a software designed for another phone'??
There is already a tutorial here,sheesh.I guess you deserve it, like everybody rushing into things without reading before.

Put u phone in download mode then open lg tool..select recovery phone then insert ur imei.. Click check.. Wait till all process finish n phone auto boot.. Tq

guys i need ur help..
here s wat i did and messed up
i m a beginner in this andriod field so need guidence
i own an lg optimus G e970 at & t version on ics
i rooted it.... installed slick JB on it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2084431
but forgot to install the modem via recovery.... so when i turned my fone ON, i had carrier network signals available but wifi was not working....
so i didnt know anyway to make it work as i wanted to install terminal emulator and go into recovery from there (since my fone wouldnt goto recovery by power and volume down key.... only thing i knew was to flash an lg fone with a kdz file via marvin tool (R n D tool)
so i downloaded a KOREAN kdz for f180L and tried flashing it on my e970 via R n D tool...it was successfull but when my fone rebooted, it was country locked (required some password at the beggining)
so then i started looking for the other kdz,s available online (as i was specifically looking for kdz for at & t LGOG) but found that it uses tot file for flashing via LGNPST ( so i ignored it by thinking that i would go for kdz but couldnt find it)
(BY THIS TIME I HAD NO IDEA THAT MY RADIO IS DEAD)
then i found a brazilian kdz for e977 and flashed it to my fone via R n D tool and my fone booted up.....everything working but no network signal showing a sim error icon in status bar....i rooted it and installed at & t rom via zip via cwm n got n at & t rom but radio still not working
i tried installing e970 modem.zip and tried flashing tot via LGNPST but it doesnt work for me as LGNPST always give me errors.
when i backtracked everything, i found my mistake: people said that if u would flash a korean rom on a non-korean fone, u would loose ur radio.... thats the stupidity i did and now i n dammmnnnn frustated about it.....
even read about some efs file but no use...

Problem with KDZ

HI, When I try to use KDZ to flash the firmware stock ... it starts but suddently like 2 minutes the phone turn on . On the bootloader where I can select if turn it off, go to recovery .... Why Kdz doesn't work flashing the system ?

Just restart in download mode don't interrupt the flash it will work after few tries.
Can't confirm but I think having a nexus bootloader does that

Yes.. I have the bootloader of Nexus4 ... I don't interrupt it... It does automatically and it suddently turn on in black screen with the android icon opened and I should choose if turn off or go to recovery or go to bootloader.... I tried 4 times all the same story what to do?

I mean don't interrupt the flash procedure after it went to bootloader just restart in download mode

I m sorry but even restarting in donwloading mode it doesn't work.... the app FREEGEE that unlock bootloader... works bad it put on my lg e975 the Nexus 4 bootloader that's why KDZ doesn't work well... I sent you a screen shot as you see kdz stops and in the processes you can see something with " Auth Matk" that's the creatore of the app probably during his last update he did a mess .... In the same moment Kdz stops my phone turn on like a nexus 4 bootloader look I put here the screen shot .. Don't know how to solve it. I m worried

LG FREE GEE doesn't work anymore to unblock the bootloader in the right way there are other apps to unlock it ?

I unlock my phone bootloader today with freegee. I update my phone firmware to newest version and found that old kdz is not available to download anymore . It appear to give kernel panic after reboot. But you can install custom rom to get rid of this kernel panic problem (You must install recovery after unlock to do this).

1: freegee doesnt flash nexus bootloader
2: restarting to download mode resume flash, as it did for you. (only if you have nexus 4 bootloader)
3: any other problem is your problem.

Restart after Update

Hi
I rooted LG G3 in 4.4.2 rom to recovery some photos and then there was an update .after update the phone doesn't work normally .It restarts continual .it shows all update has been done 100% but after that it restarts. I need my contact number how can I access to my phone memory to get my contact backup .I got a backup before root but in phone memory

You can't update while rooted bad idea..You can try flashing a kdz (stock rom ) with flashtool and choose not to wipe your data this may work look in the forum on how to do this..

My phone unbricked by flashtools 1.8 all my data lost actually I flashed a custom rom
