CyanogenMod Installer and Optimus G Pro - LG Optimus G Pro

Just curious... has anyone tried this yet on their Optimus G Pro? If so, what was the outcome? Please share your experience, problems, issues... etc. I know it is not officially supported at the moment but I have my hopes.

Here is supported devices http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/CyanogenMod_Installer#Supported_Devices
I don't think that the G Pro will get support.

yeah, it wont be supported until the bootloader is unlocked and not just bypassed using freegee. glad we have it but a true unlock is what we need which would bring easier ways to fix bricks rather than having to figure out lg flash tools. so until the bootloader is unlock there will he no support and i advise to not use the app and most likely brick your device.

Well, but, cyanogen support optimus g pro officially...

It does not work. Although ROM Manager claims to have flashed the latest version of ClockworkMod 6.0.3.8 and ClockworkMod Touch, Going to recovery mode shows a dead Android with a red exclamation.

Unbranded firmware for International Optimus g pro

Hi I have a korean LG optimus g Pro LG F240S. the screen and everything is very good but the software has a lot of carrier crap. Can some developer please build a international firmware CWM image or otherwise. Would make this phone the best phone out there. Some AOSP ROMS will just be great.

The most carrier crap can be disabled by application settings, services can be stopped as stated here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292012, so you'll get almost debloated and fast phone
Do you think we'll have cyanogenmod rom for this phone?
It all depends on unlocking the bootloader

Flashable LG Optimus G Pro Rom?

I just got the the phone yesterday and love it! I rooted, unlocked and installed recover no problem. Installed CM10.2 with no issues.
In searching for a stock LG Optimus G Pro type, I found one on the development thread that installs through a backup process. I tried that and it isnt quit what I am looking for.
Is there a ROM that is flashable through recovery that is pretty much the stock version of what comes with the LG Optimus G Pro?

Bump unlock

I found this thread Bump unlock for LG G3 that demonstrated how to use Bump to unlock an already rooted G3 and install TWRP recovery on it to flash bump'd ROMs for the G3 and I was wondering if this might work for the gPad 7 and 10.1 too? What you guys think?
Nope
they need to share the technical details first... or build TWRP for this device and release it...
Oh Ok
Most things for other devices need to be modified to work with other devices. Definitely when we get the recoveries launched this is something we could discuss but until then it's just a wait in progress.
