Looks like the sensation forums is trying to hack the spec edition one and get this into the original one. The sensation is similar to our phones so this nay be a possibility. It's like srs wow I guess. But if someone has time to try this please report back

I was able to boot up Blissymede V1 in my desire from here.. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1285099)
It has beats included in it and it works fine. I saw some comments regarding its volume at the development threads, its right that its sound is abit low compared to other roms and when i installed DSPManager and configured its Headset Virtual Room Effect to Large room or just room, the volume was considerably louder.
I am so happy, now my beats earphone is loving its companion in my desire!! Thanks to the developer coolexe and shubhamchamaria and everyone who makes this xda community the best!! Cheers!!
maybe you should post it in the thread for the rom to help the other users
also under equalizer turn loudness compensation to strongest then its alot better
Would the beats software work as the technology isn't present in the phone?

I dont know about that but all i have felt after using it is, it certainly gives out high performance audio with every tiny details the artist has added in the song for us to hear. That makes it so so different than normal softwares.
Cool to know. As the stock music apps have been pretty damn poor. Although the HTC dhd music app was ok. Although i will probably still use doubletwist as i have purchased the "air sync" feature which i love.

I am pretty sure you will like the sound quality but be warned rom gets sluggish sometimes!! All the best
Yeah I have an issue with the sense3.0 and3.5 roms for doing that. I have mentioned that in my thread. But I will still give it a go.

but too bad still lots of bugs in the rom hard for everyday use
Want to try it too but the UI of all the 3 & 3.5 sense roms are too slow for my daily Rom :-( let's hope someone will be able to port it and in other roms.

Kalevi you're brave going to dhd as that's been around a year and a bit now. I'm being patient. Lol
And I guessed that it will.be pretty buggy. Which is a shame. But the desire wasn't built for that unfortunately.
I bet this Rom that is ported to the HTC hero is sooooo slow. Lol

It need Sense Frameworks and last I heard some changes in Kernel. HTC is not open about Beats sources they just posted the API alone. So if someone one is debranding Sense Frameworks then merge it with CM9 then you might see it (It happened with Xperia Arc, X10 etc. so it's possible). Again it's a long shot.
.
Thread moved to Q&A due to it being a question. Would advise you to read forum rules and post in correct section.

I've seen lots of forum threads and websites over the internet claiming it's possible to get Beats Audio into a Wildfire simply by downloading and installing .zip files. Is this really true?
Thanks,
Francis.

This is the link of the tread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1531999
of course it is true but there is not so big difference unfortunately
Taptapped from my little killer iPod 4G (;
But I do not think there are, however, real improvements in sound quality (if you do not use headphones Baets)
By 'true' I meant 'does it actually make a difference to sound quality'. Apologies for bad wording.
Francis.

when u use good headphones (not only beats) u can hear difference but not so big. when i used both beats audio plus xloud and jet audio player with sennheiser hd555 and creative fatal1ty (yes, those for pc players) i could hear difference :3
Taptapped from my little killer iPod 4G (;
I don't really use my phone for music too much as I have my iPod for that, but maybe I'll try this out one day..
Thanks for your help and guidance guys, much appreciated.

I'm pretty sure this is the most ridiculous question our wildfire devs will ever hear.... but anyways here it goes!...
I was wondering if kernel 3.x is applicable/possible/needed for wildfire???.(the devs can laugh now!)...It's just that I'm currently following many device forums on xda and they seem to be pretty excited about the kernel 3.0 stuff.....I just wanted to know if our wildfire can have the luxury of kernel 3.x ...
And obviously from the question itself you will know that I'm a complete newbie ..:silly:

Well I don't profess to know what needs to be done but I imagine that all the drivers will need to be ported, as well as that fact that we have no gpu. That could cause issues with the kernel hacks that are already in place just so we can run gingerbread, let alone jellybean. Which I think is needed for the 3.x kernel. But again I don't know, I'm just speculating.
