Very helpful. I feel like I'm the only one who has no idea what OmniROM is.
Is this an official build for Nexus 5 or not?

Many many thanks. I was waiting to find a good custom ROM to "fill" my N5 and now I find it
Now I am out. When I am home tonite I'll flash it. As ART is so experimental, for the moment, I think to flash PA Gapps with it and to stay with our old but good Davilk.
Any problem ab that (PA gapps I mean)?
Again many many thnks

Thanks for the rom. I've been waiting for this one.
Couple of issues that I've noticed so far:
Can't sync the calendar. It wasn't included in gapps and once I downloaded Google calendar, it doesn't recognize it or sync.
The option in Ribbons for background color selection is missing.

Checked Dark-Nightmare github repo and its not looking to be builded based on the released kernel :/
Dudes, this builds introduces all the CM11 by armani-dev builds changes, included the kernel sources.
Can anyone try if it's completely working? It should be, try it and let me know, if something isn't working, please, provide me a changelog.
Regards.

Ohh cool!
Question: Im so far on the RC2, but cant update using the PAC-console. As it goes into basket root dir. Is that changed within the latest nightly builds? Anyway, im gonna flash it using the TWRP.

Try using TWRP for flashing the dev or the nightly build, try both if you can, then, let me know the result.

Tried, just hung on the Mi logo.
Tried to get a logcat thru ADB, but came up with a blank file. @Dark-Nightmare, if you have a suggestion for capturing the logcat I will gladly help.
Peace.

Bro Thanks for your effort keeping this ROM live...I flashed the ROM and it booted without issues...when I checked the kernel version it showed sep 22nd as date which means its not updated kernel source right? Also I tested couple of custom kernel with this ROM but stuck in mi.com screen...I will try the kernel compatibility patch and let you know how it goes...

Are you going to develop AOSPA based on new armani-dev change & kernel source?
Hello,
This is my first time uploading a ROM to xda so there may be some issues.
As the official crDroid thread hasn't been updated in a couple months, I've decided to post my build so that others may have an updated ROM. That being said, I plan to update this thread every week or two. As things break and I'm not very knowledgeable at fixing them, I can't commit to regular updates.
I'd like to thank firebird11 for helping me getting the thing to compile and the entire crDroid team for keeping their ROM up-to-date.

I have given a try. The ROM is very stable, gets even better with Extended Kernel v11 (but not like AOSPExtended).
I think in a few updates the ROM can get more reliable to use like AOSPEx.
Ps. OMS is working very well, i tried MONO/Art theme.
Pps. Inbuilt SuperSU.
Try los+ kernel, is similar to extended v11 but for me with BioShock governor battery life is better
