Whats the problem? Its suppose to say "WARRANTY BIT: 0" when you use MJ5 bootloader, why do you want to get rid of that?
With Mj5 bootloader is impossible to get WARRANTY BIT: 0x1 (knox tripped) you can flash what ever you like and it still shows 0.

one can always downgrade without issues, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2500823
i never had knox enabled firmware on my mobilein first place, only the bootloader.. and skipped the first step of flashing stock rom and it was gone..

Hello,
A friend have a Ace 2 i8160, he wants to flash MC8 then Italian Job, but the flash binary counter will not be 0, how can he reset it with a i8160p?
Thx
It will remain 0. Rooted and flashed many things and still is 0.

Thanks for the Answer
How can i know how is the flash counter?
Are you with a Custom rom?
I'm talking for 8160 no NFC version.
Yes I use custom rom - The IJ AOSP version. To check binary count go to download mode and press vol up botton. You will see a "Downloading..." and the green android robot. Look then in the top left corner - you will see "CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD:NO" and "CURRENT FIRMWARE:SAMSUNG OFFICIAL". If you have NO and SAMSUNG OFFICIAL then your counter is 0.

You've got to flash this kernel, in CWM (Custom CWM)
http://www1.zippyshare.com/v/82719203/file.html
Is a free Knox Kernel for XXUEMK4 compilation.
If you're still getting Knox notification, then you've got to remove all Knox apps in /system/app with Root Explorer.

first i need to get working CWM without voiding a knox.
second yes i am gonna use your kernel. (Patched_N7100_MK4_KERNEL) because it is safe one, and after all it will leave knox warranty = 0
am i right ?
also pop me a link to cwm as with philz_touch_5.15.0-n7100.tar.md5 odin gives me an error. ''File Invalid. ''

CWM will not void Knox neither your warranty.
CWM is just for flash that Kernel I gave you and also SuperSU.
In the download mode you need to run Odin and select the PDA box and then put the md5 file.
And will raise Knox warranty from 0 to 1 (No more warranty)
And sorry my english, I'm from Venezuela

Sorry, I misunderstood the question. CWM will raise the counter.
i see. so your method is not good for me either. Got warranty for 1 more year and cwm raises KNOX counter to 1
i can also use CF-Autoroot it gives same result counter =1 ....
None of them are good than. Any other methods ?

anything or you will lose the warranty. you have knox on bootloader too and if you try to flash something the flag trigger change from 0 to 1 and your warranty is gone. forget about root by the moment.

KNOX is a new security system in official update of Android 4.3 on Samsung devices which prevents access to multiple applications when rooting your device and prevents the flash counter being reset to 0

Yes it's running 4.3 stock os. I will check what it says in download mode and let you know
If the knox counter has been tripped, you could still send it in for repair. The service centre will either repair it, repair and charge, or just send it back unchanged.

According to the screen, you have installed custom software and there is no warranty for your phone.
You can send it in for repair but, if the tech checks the bootloader screen, it may not be repaired for free under warranty.

Is there anyway I can work around my problem. Every time I turn off and on my phone the data sd my external ad card gets corrupted
Are you referring to resetting the counter or the SD card corruption?
As far as I know, there is no way to reset the counter at the moment. There probably won't be a way to fix it since the counter is being tripped because an efuse is blown when non-official software is loaded.
For the sd card corruption, a custom may correct the problem.

Any hope left? Bricked Note 2, Help?

I have a big problem with my Note 2.
It is completely frozen at the Galaxy Note screen when it very first turns on. It also freezes at the rotating circle when I plug it in to the charger.
I can access Download/ODIN Mode. I have tried flashing 4.3 again, Odin succeeded but it changed nothing.
I have tried and can not access recovery mode before/after the 4.3 flash.
I have a feeling I'm completely screwed, buy maybe not? What can I do?
Thanks!

Quickest easiest thing to try is flash (via ODIN) a custom recovery. TWRP or CWM, doesn't matter.

It means Knox security that was implemented detected something it did not like. Like maybe rooting.
Really not to much of a deal since warranty is probably not an option for you since you got it from someone else.
On my phone and not a lot of time. In this forum find a thread by me about getting to MK6 OTA via 4.1.1 stock.
I think it's post #2 that talks about param/tz file. Download that and flash via ODIN
That should work
