Well we have two kitkat roms but both of them are still in alpha and beta stages so they aren't perfect. If your afraid that you might brick i would say just read up.

and an Unofficial buid of CM11: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2518998
i747 Roms (att) also works on rogers i747M
Using it on mine right now, everything works except wifi on mine
The 4.4 ROM (CM11) released by jermaine151 is quite solid.

I don't know what would help, but I am trying to sell my Galaxy and I want to restore it to Stock, but I don't know how! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!
What was the last stock ROM you had on the phone? If it was 4.3, you can't flash a stock ROM because AT&T never released a complete 4.3 ROM, only updates from previous ROMs.
I am running NE-DS Buttnaked on AT&T note 2 and loved it.
My good friend got a tmo Note T889 and he is getting bugged down by the full size official rom 4.4 released earlier the year.
Anyone can recommend a good clean rom that is based off the official roms? he said his note2 is fast becoming unusable.
I recently rooted my Galaxy S3 (tmobile). I'm on 4.3 (JB). I want to know, since I'm on 4.3, is it possible to install a custom rom thats 4.4 (kitkat) or 5.0 (lollipop)?

yes and no...seriously - look at the forums and read up on things. Custom roms give and take away functionality, so you have to make your own choices.
Hey guys, so Ive had a S4 (M919N MetroPCS variant) since it first came out. It originally had Jellybean (4.2.2) installed when I bought it. Long story short, I upgraded to AOSP KitKat 4.4.4 and then later upgraded to AOSP 6.0.1
But, I checked out my baseband on my phone and it says "M919NUVUAMF2". This indicates that I still have the Jellybean modem correct? And what are the consequences if I don't get the suited modem/bootloader for my device when upgrading unofficially. it hasn't affected my phone in any way and I've been going back and forth on ROMS from AOSP to TouchWiz varying from KitKat to Lollipop to Marshmallow. Is it essential for me to change my bootloader when flashing a new rom
I have an Bell Canada I747. Is there a rom available that will allow it to run a newer Android version? TIA

That appears to be the most recently released firmware available on sammobile.com.
Samsung hasn't released anything for this phone since kitkat.

Thanks and it's true it's the last official release. I've read about some custom roms that are available for the ATT version of the I747 that upgrade it to various versions of Android. Was wondering if any would run on the Bell Canada I747 or if they would brick the phone.

Any custom roms for the i747 will run the same on the i7474m. No bricking from incompatibility issues. YMMV on what works and what doesn't. For the most part I've found the custom roms past kitkat to be pretty solid, but I've had front facing camera and speakerphone noise cancelling problems.
Just avoid roms for the i9300 exynos versions of the S3.

Thanks again for your time and advice, the old phone is rocking Resurrection Remix 5.8.3. (Android 7.1.2)
Filename I used is RR-N-v5.8.3-20170504-d2att-Weekly.zip
Update:...no noticeable issues so far. Phone is faster and more responsive than the old Android 4.4.2.
