Where to buy Nexus 5 case and screen protector in Vancouver? - Nexus 5 Accessories

I don't want to buy them online, so where I could buy them? Anyone knows?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using xda app-developers app

Online is probably your only choice, since stores don't usually carry accessories for Nexus phones. Plus, you'll have a better selection and lower prices for higher quality products.

My local target (I'm in Vernon, BC) doesn't have the phone, but they have cases which are very similar to this ...
http://www.amazon.com/SUPCASE-Google-Unicorn-Premium-Protective/dp/B00FN13QH0
If you've got a Target near you it might be worth a try. They are $19.99, which seems a lot, but probably not much more that the case plus shipping, and at least you won't have to wait 2 weeks for it to arrive.

I thought it was OK. Depends what sort of thing you like. I was expecting a soft gel feel but it was harder (but still flexible). I think it would be a pretty durable, if you like that style of case.

Try oakridge or metrotown. Those little vendors that sell cell phone screen protectors usually sell cases as well.

Did anyone succeed in this respect?
I was going to try the kiosk at Tinseltown today.

Success at Tinseltown. Was $6.75 including tax and installation.

I want one too. Anyone translate for a group buy, maybe?
I third that. I'd love one of these babies too. I have a friend at work that reads Korean, but I dunno how that would helps get our hands on one of them.
Btw, these cost 39,000 won which translates to 35 usd.
Wow. Seems like they couldn't handle the press exposure. They've taken down the site, photos, prices, etc.
Btw, the design itself was originally made by Incase or some other company for the first ipad, wasn't it? Though I guess Apple brought the patent before launching smart cover for ipad2.
You can get one of these in red on ebay UK at the moment. It seems to be a copy of the anymode one....

Yeah, I admit it. I was just too lazy at the time. It might of been that I was in a 150sq ft room filled with electronics and my 5 & 8 year olds running loose as I tried to get my money back from sprint. Yet, come to think of it, sprint deserved every minute of their greasy hands on every one of their phones and glass cases. I should of just walked in and said have at it boys.
You can't order unless you are registered and to register you need a Korean social security number. This most likely means that it won't deliver outside Korea.
I lived in Korea for 10 years.
Go figure. Another case i want that's not available. Had a relative with one for the (insert patent # here)pad and thought it was a nice little case that kept the bulk down.
Anyone know where I can find something like this for the tab? I'm really interested, and since its been taken down, I'd like to know if there are any alternatives.
I found one on ebay. concerned about trying though

Yeah, I didn't want to say anything, but it just looked like two pieces of cheap leather slapped together and loose fitting at that. It could be good for someone.
Damn.... It's incredibly difficult to find a case I like. I like this one. Especially in baby blue.
I sent them an email just in case they'll ship them out on the sly. Hopefully somebody there reads/writes English.
Samsung should just give crapple the finger and approve this. Apple has already said they are not using Samsung for their next chip, at least I think I read that on Engadget.
I would have loved this case.

GSM Cases in the US?

Has anyone found any decent cases for the GSM GN in the US at all? A pouch or anything? I realize we have some VZW stuff coming in but since the VZW version is supposed to be thicker, not sure that would work well.
If not from a US retailer, what have you purchases from overseas?

Product Description
11/17/11 Update: Our case will fit both models. It was designed around the i515 (LTE) dimensions. Since the i9250 is less than a 1/2mm smaller it will also fit perfectly. You only run into issues once you get over 1mm in size difference on TPU cases.

Getting rid of an unwanted lapdock

General question, for those who have lapdocks and decide they want to get rid of it, whats the best way to go with selling it.
On ebay I see them listed, I never see anything really getting sold and nobody really lists them up.
I'm thinking about auctioning it but I am worried about how much I would lose.
Anybody on here have any experience on selling there lapdock?
Thanks

I bought mine on ebay for 90 used some time ago, and most of the listings on ebay get sold for around 100. Depending on the condition, I'd expect to sell it around 70+ maybe, price dropped a good amount lately.
Id actually be interested in buying it from you. what kind of price are you thinking
I'm happy to sell it for any fair price, its barely been used its in great condition but now I'm feeling pretty sad looking at those prices.
I purchased it for a hefty 500, I was being optimistic hoping I could get rid of it for at least 150-200 but I'm more then happy to get rid of it at the 125 mark if your interested.
I'll be sending it from australia but I have the adaptors for the US as well since I brought it from there.
Inbox me if you want to discuss the item further.
This is very depressing but I can live with it
This needs to be posted in the marketplace forum. Not here. Doesn't anyone read the forum rules anymore??
It sells refurbished for 90 dollars after shipping, any more than that and you're ripping someone off.

no, not really.
people sell their items for what they want. a + $35 range wouldn't necessarily constitute a "rip off".
refurbished < used i think, depending on owner, of course.

A lot of the times refurb units are the ones that something breaks on and it's been repaired which should be cheaper than original that has never been opened.
Anyways, I just saw this thread and I also have a ladock that I don't use. I used that lapdock with another Atrix that I have with broken screen and used it as a wi-fi laptop browsing kinda thing. I'd be interested in selling it too if someone is looking for one.
Thank you and good luck to op.
sorry i didn't mention it before, but i'd be more than interested in buying a laptop dock from someone on XDA, i would just want a good deal from risking my money from someone i met on a forum, when i could get a perfectly good refurb unit from a reputable dealer for a cheaper price than offered.

Just wondering if anyone has done business with them and how it went? Their prices are ridiculously low and i'm tempted to make a purchase from them but would like to hear some feedback before doing so.
Looks like they're a division of Alibaba.com. They basically make cheap chinese knockoffs and sell them dirt cheap. Been doing it for years, and they're a HUGE company.

Aliexpress is the smaller e-commerce arm of AliBaba. Alibaba is the biggest B2B companies in China.
It is like the ebay for big boys. They sell 1 piece to 10000000 pieces. However, there is a lot of fake stuff there.

Def not ordering anything I'd be concerned with getting a counterfeit of. I'm just looking at a vent holder, nothing special.
I have used Aliexpress and DHgate.com to sell things here in Dominican Republic. The shipping takes almost one month to get here so don't buy things that you need asap.
Keep yourself away from buying Memory Cards or Hard Drives, almost always are fake or have less capacity than listed.
IMHO dhgate > aliexpress.

if the price is ridiculously low, you should pay attention with it. Check seller's feedback info. By the way ,you can't Pay with Paypal on Aliexpress. I'd have to agree with that. But most of if not all of those same accessories ship from Hong Kong too...everything ordered from the site I posted might cost a few bucks more, but they're shipped from the USA and arrive much faster. To some, that's worth the few extra bucks spent.
