I'm looking to purchase a quality leather pouch for my N5. Something like the Krusell Luna model:

I dislike the models that require pulling a tab to get your phone out of the pouch.
Any suggestions are appreciated, thank you.

I have a Bugatti case for my N4 and it's great. The N5 doesn't fit as well because it's a bit taller. I'll try and get some images up for you tomorrow.
I'd like to get another slim case as well. How fully Bugatti makes a pouch that's a little bigger.

I tried XL slimcase in store but N5 just floats in it because it's to large, but they didn't have any other version to try it out.

I just found and ordered the Happer leather pouch from amazon. Bit expensive at $50, looks bland compared to the dodo pouches but not much options are available for the N5. Will receive this on Tuesday, will share more more details on how it feels then.

I use this one. It is meant for the Z30 but works the same with the Nexus 5 and I quite like the red little accents on the sides. Plus I have access to the volume rocker on the sides.

I just put in my order & projected arrival date of Jul 5-7.
The case is only 5.8 ounces so that is really light..plus I like how it has the two stand positions.
That RooCase is built exactly like the Belkin case, and for nearly half the price. I should have ordered this. I may order it and return my belkin case.
I kind of wanted that one, but I needed something with a zipper to keep dust and stuff off the tab. I bought the roocase executive portfolio, and it's very nice quality, so I would recommend a roocase

The flap /back of the case each have magnets, so it doesn't flap at all. It's completely flush with the case, kind of recessed, when not in use.

I ordered a different rooCase one (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0050IU2N2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A2IHZFOHOQ0WG8) and it just arrived today. Seems very nice, good construction quality and the velcro works. I don't have my tab at work so I don't know what the fit is like, but it looks accurate. Will find out tonight!

I've seen that one too, but I'm not a fan of the velcro. Is it real leather or PU?
Pretty sure it's real leather - at least no strange smells.
Fit is good, I really like it for carrying around protection and using as a stand. Is a bit bulky for everyday sit-on-the-couch use. I am extremely offended by the PC Micro company though - they sent an email asking for a good review in return for a $2 refund. Not cool!
I got my Roocase today. It is very nice. It fits great. Only thing I notice is when you have it down at the low angle the tablet is upside down....which really doesn't matter since the screen flips
i ordered this last week and it was backordered. I am finally getting it tomorrow. Ofcourse I will post pictures and review when I get it.

Yep I got mine this week and I like it a lot. I'd recommend it. Quality is good and stands up / angles towards you pretty well. It's similar to the Apple iPad folding case but fold is a little more thick and sturdy.
I just got a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 and I will be using it for school. Now I need a case that also has a stand and am most likely going to get it from amazon. It seems rooCase is the most popular there and is this ultra slim seems the most likely for me. But it looks like it cannot tilt, or I cannot angle it more. Am I right about this. I really need to change the angle and I need a small case for the school table.

Mine was delivered on Friday. Very nice... fits perfectly and doesn't add much extra to the phone. It easily slips into your pocket fine even with the rubber which is only very slight. The buttons are covered with the rubber giving it a nice feel while protecting them. I got the black one and the phone feels very good in the hand with it on. Looks very stylish and still retains the GNex look while protecting it.
Hope this info helps. Only issue was it took 3 weeks to get to me..... only got the postal service to blame for that though LOL
I ordered 2 last weekend. My GNEX had been the first phone that I've gone naked with for this long and I'm loving it, but get freaked out of the thought of dropping it with no protection. Hopefully this is a good compromise.

I think because of the way these work, they should fit both versions. I can't say for certain since mine hasn't come in yet. Damn slow boat shipping.

I ordered my case from the op's link for my verizon nexus.
Case came in yesterday and overall its a damn good fit and feel for just $4.
Bought a white one but will probably order a black one as well.

I'm using the CDMA version with the extended battery and the fit is fantastic.
I hate having a case on this phone because it just looks and feels so great in hand naked.
This case feels great AND it's minimal enough that it maintains that sexy nexxy look and feel. Seriously, it looks great in person. Couldn't be happier!

I finally received my TPU bumper last week. It's definitely for the GSM version, though I don't mind it on my VZW phone. I like it a lot. But yesterday, the black TPU portion separated away from the white plastic section at the USB port area so I can't use it anymore. Could just be a fluke in my case though. I contacted the original seller to see what they can do.

They're expensive, but Vaja has one small leather case out already, and I'm sure they'll design more with the relative similarity between carrier devices, and the number of buyers across the world.
The first one they've come up with is $70, which sounds really high, but I can tell you from experience that these things are inSANEly well-made. They're probably hand-stitched by one 85 year-old lady in Venezuela, but their cases are awesome.

I got this one. I love it because vertical position is a must and also the clip can rotate. It does leave some black marks on the back of the phone but nothing is perfect
The $5 & $10 cases on ebay /amazon are not real leather.
I am also interested in some real leather options. A search showed "hoco" as an option, they look pretty slim too.

I've had an Easecase (a different model from the one the OP ordered - I think mine is a B1) for my HD2, S2 and now S3. They're really well made, fit perfectly and you get a choice of leather, lining colour, closure system etc, I do look at other ones available but in the end I always end up getting their stuff

Seconded! I don't have one for my S3 (yet), but I've been considering the Grip or the Pouch they have on their site.
I've bought their cases for past phones and not only do they look great, but they're very durable. The price-point is a little painful, but well-worth it in my book.
Might as well ask this here. But do any of you guys (yea guys on this one) carry around a wallet case? I was gonna get a SGP Valentinus black for my SGS3 but I got to thinking, maybe it seems a little feminine. I wanted one cuz it would mean for me to not carry a wallet around. I wanted either the Valentinus or the Argos. What you guys think

You can use Capdase leather case. Maybe some of them got wallet design. But recently, they use a frame to hold the phone and neglect those wallet layer. Sigh........

Has anyone got one? They look nice and get good reviews on Amazon but would be good if someone who has one could post some pics of the real thing. I have the Spigen ultra hybrid which looks great but adds a lot of bulk to the phone and doesn't feel so great. I also have a cheapo tpu case which actually feels great but the finish is a bit poor and its a little saggy.

Great case! Fits the phone perfectly without room for it to slide up and down inside the case. Buttons are not too hard to press but a little more difficult. All ports are accessible. The speaker grill cut out isn't perfectly put, but is just fine.

Got it the other day - nice case fist really well with no saggyness, I have ditched my spigen ultra hybrid for this as that whilst looking cool was too bulky.
This is a mediocre case at best. It's slim, but has the sticky feel of glossy TPU, which I hate. The design on the back may or may not appeal to you -- I found it repulsive. Overall, with this case, you get what you pay for. I personally think it ruins the aesthetics of the Nexus 5.

If the back is so repulsive why on earth did you buy it in the first place? It was quite evident in the pictures and listings that it was glossy tpu and the back was the way it is. Surely one of the main reasons people buy this case is because they like the design on the back. The case is cheap but alot better quality than other tpu cases ( of which I have bought 2) of a similar price and ruins the aesthetics no more than any other case, compared to other cases I have bought including the spigen it follows the contours of the phone well.

Do you honestly think I would have bought it if I had known that I didn't like the back design? It looked great in the photo, but not when I had it in my hands.
Does anyone have recommendations on any Nexus 5 wallet cases? From when I had an iPhone, I always had the book-book case so I am used to carrying my phone and my creditcards/cash in the same case. It just seems that there are no good options out there. I had those 2 models with my HTC One. The first one, the leather stitching started fraying a week after use. The 2nd one, the clasp fell out after a month or so. I am looking for something high quality. I dont mind paying along the price of the book-book.

There is also that, I dont expect to see much really high quality cases though. Nexus dont have near the market share of iPhone/Galaxy lines.
Check out the Watson Folio cases by Incipio. Hopefully they'll roll one out.
Tuff-luv made a nice looking brown leather case for the Nexus 4, so hopefully they'll do the same here.

Protenzo makes some really nice cases.
They are working on the nexus 5 cases now. No eta though, otherwise i have the nerd herder gadget wallet which is nice. Its a little thick but nice.

There is also that, I dont expect to see much really high quality cases though. Nexus dont have near the market share of iPhone/Galaxy lines.

Tuff-luv told me in an email that they expect to have stock by the end of November. On Twitter, it's the end of December.

It does have 3 5* reviews though.... Shame it is in the UK and not in the US. Oh well, the one I bought will be here on Tuesday.
What I do minimize the wear and tear on flip/wallet cases is to use voice announce and shake call. No need to open the case as often.
I have the ringke nexus 4 case... Not real leather and decayed badly in less than 12 months... Tempted to buy it again, remove the plastic holder, find a leather wallet and make my own.
How hard is it for these guys to make brackets and simply stick them on a genuine leather wallet?
Has anyone found a wallet case that doesn't have the flip/cover? I've been searching for one similar to an iphone case and it just seems that case makers aren't making them non-iphones

Cost....
People are usually happy buying $10-$15 cases. Real leather in a case would shoot the price up north of $30 and there just aren't a lot of buyers at that price range (relatively speaking).
As to other cases, I did get a reply from Zenus (http://izenus.com/) and they are planning a Nexus 5 case for early December.
Dodo makes nice wallet cases.. I had them for my Moto X and absolutely loved them. They make for Nexus 4 so hoping they will make one for Nexus 5 soon.
