"No Service" with full bars right after installing CM nightly

I'm pulling my hair out trying to fix this. I NEED this fixed NOW. I appreciate any and all quick replies.
I just installed CM nightly for my phone (the d2lte). Everything went fine, but I now have no service but with full bars according to the pulldown menu. It shows up with full bars but in orange.
My IMEI checks out and I still have a baseband. I couldn't find any APNs in my list, but when I tried creating one and saving, it doesn't show up in the list. I tried this about 5 times and it did not ever show up in the list. I tried rebooting and I still cannot create an APN.
I have no idea what to do. I cannot make calls. I had it working. I tried to create a Nandroid backup before and my phone rebooted near the end and would not boot, so I had to install another CM. I believe it had an error about not having a SIM card in before.
Please, please, please, please help me ASAP. I need this fixed. I cannot sleep until it is fixed.
EDIT: Fixed it before I saw any replies. I needed to flash a modem.
Are you running the latest modem and bootloader? I believe the latest cm needs kk modem and bootloader.

Home Screen with a system info HUD

Hi everybody,
I had a problem with my Samsung Galaxy SIII AT&T SGH-I747 sometime ago.
It had had lost the IMEI number because I changed to a Custom ROM several times, and I needed to replace the IMEI that was null to the phone's IMEI. During this time to discover how to do it I found some tips that accessing the Service Mode or Engineering Mode it will be done easily, but the tips did not work, so I changed the way and I would be able to replace the right IMEI by another way, not by Service Mode or something else.
Now I'm having a lot of trouble with newest Custom ROM and decided to return at Stock ROM, and I did it by "AT&T I747 UCUEMJB Stock Restore" thread and it works fine!
So now the trouble is that at the Stock ROM when I park at the Home Screen or at the App Gallery a HUD with phone information is displayed at the screen disturbing me and I have no idea how to turn it off.
I'm almost sure that it happens because I've tried to replace the IMEI using the Service Mode or Engineering Mode, and did some mistake during that.
Anybody could help me how to fix it?
There are two pictures attached on this thread one showing the trouble and another showing when I open some App it doesn't show.
Factory Mode
Well,
I have researching about this issue and now I know that this is called Factory Mode that was modified into the EFS directory on /.
If anybody knows how to fix it, please tell me.

Same Problem Here!! Any solution?
Not sure what's going on with your connection issues, but the MAC address will only show when WiFi is on.

Hello, I got the same problem and I maybe found a solution !
Thats what I did on my LG G4:
- Turn the airplane mode ON
- Reboot the phone
- Turn the airplane mode OFF
- Go to wifi settings and if the wifi is not activated, turn it on
- If the bug persist at this point, do the process again
This happened to me on Sprint variant. Did a factory reset and never got passed the Google setup. Had to return the phone
Anybody ever find a solution to this problem? I have contacted LG repair service but I have heard nothing back from them. Not what I wanted to do as my bootloader is unlocked...

Hello, have you
Tried resetting phone??
Tried rebooting router??
Yeah, flashed a stock 5.1 kdz to see if it would help but still the same. I had flashed a 6.0 rom and it was working for a day and then the problem started. Flashing back to stock 5.1 didn't help.
The phone is getting picked up tomorrow and will be fixed within 5 to 7 days according to the email from LG. I just hope they will fix it because of the unlocked bootloader...
same problem here. very disapointed to lg. i heard that this is harware problem.
wifi icon keeps blinking. no warranty at all. bought in korea.

Just wanted to thank you for this. Ive had this same damn problem for 2 days and this worked as a workaround. This was the second time the bug surfaced, the first time resolved itself after a day and a system update that was pushed to my phone right before the bug started. It was already downloaded so i just installed it and the bug went away. A week later the bug surfaces again and Im pissed off ready to take my phone in and i stumble on this. IT WORKED! Thanks again.

I got this to work on my Wife's G4 when it was having the flashing WiFi issue, well, sort of. In addition to switching airplane mode on I had to toggle bluetooth and NFC, then all the sudden WiFi connected and stayed that way. I then rebooted and turned airplane mode off and everything seems to be ok now.
I have the same problem after updating my LG G4 to 6.0. The wifi is flashing and mac is bogus: 02:00:00:00:00:00. Bluetooth is also unavailable.
I contacted LG support and they told me to factory reset the phone. This did not make a difference.
Any updates on how to fix this?

Thanks AymericM!!!!! This was driving me mad, and your strange tip worked, i canĀ“t believe it!!
Rebooting is just a temp solution and doesn't always work.
No dev here have any permanent solution?

Activate Developer options - tap Build No in About a few times
then in Developer Options - >> User legacy DHCP client
Reboot and try to connect

phone keep turning off itself

my phone suddenly start to turning off by itself after few minutes of every startup.
And the phone doesn't recognize the sim cards too. Then I put it to flight mood and the problem solved. If I off the flight mood then again the phone turn off after few minutes.
I factory reset and also flash different roms. But nothing changed.
I can use phone without any issue with the flight mode on.
Anyone have a idea about the cause of this issue?

It's very likely that it might be the baseband or wifi driver, i had the same problem a while ago but i can't remember how i fixed it now. Probably flashing the original baseband. Maybe also by changing sim settings typing *#*#4636#*#* on phone application. Tell me what you see doing that.
One more question, did you mess with Nvram?
Actually I don't know about Nvram. I didn't mess with it intentionally. I don't know if something happened. Is there a way to check it?
Please help me. I don't know what to do exactly. What settings should I change by typing *#*#4636#*#* ? Thank you for trying to help me

No problem
Go into phone information change your current band settings to GSM/CDMA/LTE auto then restart, see if it works if it was already set to this option try changing to another setting. Btw you can't check nvram if you didn't touch it, don't worry

By changing band settings phone keeps turn on without airplane mood. It didn't turn off automatically. But No reception for both sims.

[SOLVED] Plane mode issue

Hi all,
I have a 32gb model with last global rom. Every night I use plane mode when I go to sleep. When I switch this off I have no data connection, so I have to reboot the device in order to bring them back because I can not find how to fix it without rebooting.
Any solution? Someone with same issue?
Thanks in advance.
Yes, the same with my wife's phone (with 3/64 helium). The rom is from xiaomi.eu (2016.11.17,based on developer versions). The only solution is to avoid plane mode or reboot after
I think I have found a solution, I have deleted the apn configuration and restore the default values. Try it... I have tryed a couple of times and its works.
i will try it, and report if works also with helium, thanks.
