Develop Bugs

New to xperia: need help.

Hey.
I am completely new to Sony xperia, i always used samsung phones. I am not a noob, but i need help with xperia.
I got an arc s lt18i, i rooted it and was than looking around for cwm.
I never ever had locked bootloader, so that was new to me too.
I tried installing ICS / jb mix rom.
I did exactly what was said, but i bricked it.
So reflashed and all oké now.
Now's my question: can someone explane a bit about how to do basic things and good / easy to install ROMs?
I already bricked my phone twice today

I think you are missing kernel. If the phone is stuck on bootscreen its the kernel.
Theres a lot of threads, news guide at the general thread. All rom threads have a install guide too.

I have nothing of worth to offer, but welcome to the community hope you are, despite the mentioned issue, enjoying the arc!

trust me, xperia won't be bricked so easily as the samsung device. xperia has the best flashtool to reflash back phone back to stock than the odin can do to revive a bricked galaxy tab.

Unless you unlock bootloader you can only install stock based roms that don't need a custom kernel.
try pureness Rom, this is ok for locked bootloader.

Oké, i tried installing a few diffrent kernel, but no luck

[ROM][PORT][4.1.2][Acro S][Beta Release] Unofficial ParanoidAndroid 2.55.1

I have completed my porting . As the title says , it is in beta stage but it is good enough for daily usage .I need community's help to complete my project .
First of all , all the thanks goes to :-
1.Free xperia team and CM team.
2.Paranoid Android team.
3.The three Muskeeters(Especially Shingers{My mentor })
4.Sony.
5.If i have left anyone , please let me know.
Installation Instructions:-
Obviously you need Unlocked bootloader and CWM installed and a brain.
1.Download ROM and Gapps and place it in root of your sd card.
2.Reboot into CWM.
3.Wipe data, dalvik and cache.
4.Flash ROM and Gapps.
5.Reboot and enjoy.
To have good battery life , FOLLOW THIS POST
Bugs:-
1.CM10 bugs ( I guess almost everything is working in CM 10)
2.You tell me.
As i dont have this device , i have to rely on the beta testers . I hope they continue to give their support as they are giving now.

Sorry mate , dont install it , got some problems in it, have to do some work on it ,until then i m closing this thread and removing the links ...
If i can get some testers then only i will proceed with the work ,if not i will stop the development here.

Thanks for the restart. Sorry I can't be a tester because my phone is exclusively used for business but I to hope that there are a lot of testers to get this rom flying.

I do show some interest, but this is main driver so I can't flash beta/alpha ROM's. Hope this project does become successful! Looking forward to the final version!

It's not beta/alpha roms types, in porting either it works or it doesn't...

Where Do I Download ICS for the S3?

can someone tell me where to download fw 4.0.4 (ICS) for the samsung galaxy 3 for tmobile? i need to revert back to that fw.

webpage loading takes a long time... the dialpad is dead after dialing rules completes... battery drain

[Q] Restore Original Bootloader in Grand

guys need some help here..I flashed the leaked 4.2.2 rom on my grand.But in process I also flashed the new bootloader that comes with the leaked rom..which was unnecessary.Now when I am trying to install other roms like cm 10.1 I am getting bootloop.Is there any way to fix the issue? Can I reflash origianl bootloader? Or is there any other way round so that I can avoid bootloop.I have tried wiping caches and user data and dalvik cache.

ROM suggestion for ION LT28h

My cousin has an international LT28H, I have already unlocked the BL.
Any suggestions on which ROM I should run for a stable, fast, and efficient system?
Device does seem laggy with stock ICS and JB rom.... Well I'm comparing to my N4 with paranoid android....lol...
