Maybe you should consider flashing a new radio.

I don't get signal at all. No signal.

Yes.
ICS.
I chose the correct band for my router instead of auto and unchecked avoid poor connections and my WiFi is fine. Stays connected and I get the same range I got when I had my Epic on stock and on CM9.

GNex From Hong Kong to London

Hi guys,
I need some advise for my phone. I have recently moved to London and signed up with T-Mobile here. I have noticed that my phone tends to have a rather unstable reception.
At times I would lose data completely. Could this be that I'm using a phone brought from Hong Kong? Perhaps I need to change its radio.
I am using Paranoid Android.
Thanks for your advise.

Data drops consistently...

I just got an unlocked AT&T note 2, I use with tmobile, but I've been getting alot of data drops, and no service the house. I'm running stock 4.1.2 software AT&T, but someone said it seems my radio/modem/baseband was old. Screenshot attached. Any help would be appreciated.

LTE only option on 4.4.2?

Hello all,
I was just wondering if anyone knows how to set LTE only for the network connection after the 4.4.2 update.
On preivious verisions I could just go to the service menu and set it but that does not seem to work anymore.
And under network selection it only gives me cdma and gsm.
Anyone know how I can lock it into LTE by chance after the update?

I think I found a way.
Will try when I'm in an area with proper coverage to test and report back.

How did you get to it?
The code wasn't working for me.
I got advanced signal status and can use that for device info to change it and it does work for me that way though.

On other handsets, rooting and the Wifi Teather for Root Users app has worked for me in the past on T-Mobile. Tethering is functional after flashing this device to a new rom, but that is on Vodafone and it didn't work before that. But American carriers might work differently.
