Who Will Be First with 4.4 - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Who do you think will be the first dev with a 4.4 ROM?

CM. They have already pushed initial commits and manifests to github

Major developeres would be CM, but people who develop based off CM would probably be the Quantum ROM.

Hi,
This thread serves no purpose...please be patient and don't flood the fora with speculations about developers.
Thanks

Where is the official CM 9 Dev thread ?

Curious if there is a thread from the official CM 9 team ? I see a lot of new ROM's releasing saying they are based off parts of CM 9, but where is the official true development thread by the team themselves ?

There is no official CM9 for any phones or tablets. It is in pre-alpha stages. The CM9 kangs are compiled off CM9 source.
So kangs are the same as the "nightlies" but nightlies aren't being made because it is too early in development and CM Settings are still being ported to ICS.
Does anybody know where to find the official nightly thread for the TF101?
There are downloads available here:
http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=tf101
But the latest is from 11 of march.
The changelog keeps getting updated but there is no cut since the 11th of march?

The thread of sportsstar89 has been closed because there should be new build servers for the team.
But where is the thread?

The Aeroevan [ROM] Unofficial CM9 for vivow (2012-09-05) Community Support Thread

Since Aeroevan's CM9 thread was closed, I felt the forum members might want a thread to continue community support for the ROM. Feel free to create community support threads such as this for all the other ROM threads which were closed because of lack of dev support.
To continue with the last post in the original thread found here:

Really? I haven't had any Netflix issues. Are you on the latest build?
Without any new developments this is more appropriate for the general section. If in the future you wish to start maintaining the ROM feel free to PM me and I can move this back for you.

[Q] Quick Question regarding Official CM10.2

I have done a couple of searches both on Google and within the forum without success. Maybe my search strings were to specific or not specific enough, but I do know that we don't have an 'Official' CM10.2 flo thread in the Original Android Dev section, while we have several 'unofficial' ones in the regular Android Dev section (I do love DJ's Kang ROM.)
Point is, why isn't there one? Are we still waiting for team CM to designate a person to head up project Flo/Razor? Just curious as to why it is still missing from our forum? And new flash addicts may not be aware of the get.cm link.
There is an official Nightly. There is no official stable release.

How does CM development work?

I was wondering how and when the CM unofficial, nightlys and stables get posted or moderated. I know Grarak does allot for the community in the unofficial builds of cm 11 and 12, but after they become official does he still work on them or are they taken over by a larger development team for non specific device patches to cyanogen mod?

It being "Official" only means it's hosted on the Cyanogen website, and that all the Cyanogen Mod source code changes get auto injected into the builds. daily, then uploaded. That's automated.
Everything that's specific for our device Grarak still does.
i was asking myself the same question, so thank you for the question, and thanks for the answer :good:

When does an unofficial build get declared official?

I have been flashing ROMs for years but have never understood the process which moves the build from unofficial to official status (or release candidate to stable in CM terminology.). Is it strictly the developer's decision? Or do the users have input? Or maybe the developer decides based on comments in the ROM thread? Just curious.
Since there have been no replies in 24+ hours, I respectfully ask the moderator to delete this thread. Thank you.
Since nobody answered, I don't think they ever gain official status.
Unofficial Builds are developed by independent developers (not approved by LOS), where official builds are from approved developers.
Could be wrong!
