Latest Sony xperia Keyboard updated (8.11.2013) - Sony Xperia S, Acro S, Ion

Today in india, tamilnadu, salem. I got an new update with my Sony xperia S Keyboard v.5.6.D.1.28.
Sent from my LT26i using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Everyone got it. It's kinda funny that the first and only update sony has uploaded to us sorry Xperia S users is a useless keyboard update that changes literally nothing. No Walkman, no Home, no Album, but here's a keyboard update nobody asked for.

No change here.

It's a shame that Sony didn't release the updated keyboard for the Acro S, eventhough it has the exact same hardware. The Xperia keyboard on the Acro S is laggy as hell, and I just can't get used to those third-party keyboard.

Keyboard?

Hey guys, my play came with the stock Android keyboard, and by using another stock rom I was once able to use the stock xperia keyboard, and it was great. I'd really love this keyboard back, and if someone could post the apk and or make a flashable zip that would be very awesome.
Thanks in advance

please please please please bring the timescape just like the one on X10 2.1. it's the single most beautiful thing ever in android. when we have the hardware, i really hope this can be done
other than that, just make the phone smoother and fix the damn camera/video recording focus problem

[APP] Test Live Wallpaper

Hello everyone. I have a live wallpaper app which works fine on all devices except Sony Xperia S, and quite possibly on other devices with Adreno 220 GPU. So far app was tested on HTC Desire, HTC Desire S, Motorola Milestone, Motorola Defy+, ASUS Transformer, Samsung Note, Samsung Galaxy S but I have a report about visual glitches on Xperia S.
You can get app from Google Play by searching "3D Lotus Live Wallpaper Free". As you can notice it has visual glitch - image is striped.
I've made some fixes to this updated app but because I don't own Xperia S phone I cant test it before updating app on Google Play. So I'm asking for your help - please contact me to get updated app, run it on your phone and post screenshot for me to know whether the bug is fixed or not.
I'm trying to make sure all my apps are running on all Android devices without any bugs and visual glitches, so please help me in this.
Because of forum rules I can't post link to test version of app - please contact me via private message and I will respond.

Yes Sir, I will get right on it!
I'd love it too!
Once we get the Extended Standby Mode at JB update, then I guess it well be easier to port since at the core, they pretty much do same things.
Besides, I don't think we'll get the 'back-port' for ICS, we have to wait for JB.

Yeah, I feel the same bro.
But waiting for Update for our Xperia is too frustrating.
Sony is really slow with update. They did the same to xperia 2011 and I had the same experience when I was waiting for ics update for my xperia Neo.

Xperia S lag and smoothness issues

Hello all.
I have my Xperia S for one month now and I am becoming more and more frustrated with the frequent lags and slowness of the system in general.
On the same day I bought it, I discovered that I was with a locked bootloader and from then on, despite my attempts to improve the system by rooting and trying several Roms I am about to give up hope.
I am now with KA25 ROM but already tried XZXperience 2 and Turbo ROM. From all of these I must say that sooner or later the system becomes laggy and starts to have strangely large access times to some actions or apps.
I notice this in the contacts app a lot, in the messaging app, on the in-call and after call screens, slow loading times while performing normal tasks, like in the album scrolling and accessing images, hiccups and annoying sounds within the Walkman app. Don't know where to even start or stop.
Sometimes I feel that it must be something related to ICS but I would like to have your opinion on these issues.
Also, I am having thoughts about going back to basics and just factory reset the whole phone. Would this clean all of the "debris" the rooting and appliance of several Roms could have done to the phone?
How would I do this? Just flashing with flashtool a clean stock image?
Any advice or any second thoughts, or even the sharing of similar experiences would be great and I would be grateful.
Looking to hear from you soon.

Thanks for the feedback. When you mention tweaks what do you precisely mean? Because I have tried some tools like Pimp my ROM which state to have entropy generators and other speed tweaks but up until now it is pretty much of the same...
However I must agree that waiting for Jelly Bean is the most straightforward solution however I am surprised that a good device like Xperia S has this difficulty dealing with ICS or any usual tasks.
I came from an HTC Sensation XE and with ICS ROMS these issues were not so frequent.
However and I must address this in the topic I have been restoring the apps from ROM manager when changing ROM. Would this have any influence in the short term to the system stability and general speed?
Many thanks.

Regarding your advices I am only having trouble with Mr. Nice Guy app as it is a paid one and reviews are not very convincing.
