need some help

it is safe to instal MIUI ROM 3.12.13 rom on galaxy note 2 ( on official 4.3 ).. this is my first time.. i still have to root my device.. bt first of all i want to know that as im on official 4.3.. it is safe to instal miui ??as i heard that official 4.3 has new modem n knox security ..i think MIUI ROM 3.12.13 build on jellybean 4.1 and im on official 4.3..
If you have warranty remaining, installing any custom rom will void your warranty as this will trip knox flag.
If you are out of warranty then take a EFS backup first before installing any custom rom, then install a custom recovery and flash any rom you want.
Note:There is always risk(s) associated when flashing a custom rom on your device thats why you see every custom rom thread with a warning but overall if you follow each n every instruction, you wont have any problem.

Well, first of all you need to be on 4.3 stock
Then, flash the CWM using flashtool (4.4 CM11 kernel, don't use 4.3 kernel)
Then put the Custom ROM that you want to your sdcard and flash it using CWM
And follow the instructions and done!

Volte not working

I flashed AICP Nougat custom ROM on z2 plus without enabling volte on stock rom.
Is there any way I could make volte work on custom rom without going back to stock rom ?

If your stock rom didn't support VoLTE then custom rom won't support it. Try booting up into safe mode. Might work.

The problem is as soon as I got the phone I flashed a custom rom but I think I had to first enable volte on stock rom then flash custom rom. So instead of doing a backup and restore process can I flash a baseband or some modem file on custom rom to get volte?

All ROM required you to flash firmware, since you are already using latest MIUI ROM you don't have to flash any firmware
Flashing older firmware file will brick your device so it's better to avoid flashing any firmware file
thnx alot bro for explaining

Officialy you can't Dear (odin method)
If your phone is (rooted) or any custom recovery installed like (TWRP)
then you can install any custom rom (stable) available for your phone

Odin is official Samsung software for flashing official Samsung firmware.
But, once you are on the latest Pie bootloader you can't downgrade to latest Oreo, so it will be impossible.
Dude... there are a bunch of J600F Oreo ROMs hellooooo
