Beanstalk ROM keyboard opens on home button press - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
Ive installed beanstalk RC1.1 yesterday and also installed the kitkat 1.03. When I change the DPI of the phone all is well until I am in an app and press the home button (center button). When pressed, I am brought to the home screen but then the keyboard pops up. I must then press the home button again to get the keyboard to drop away.
I have not re-mapped any of the keys. Its really annoying.. Does anyone know how I can change this so that when I press the home button it will bring me to my home screen and NOT bring up the keyboard?
Thanks in advance.

[Q] remapping long press function?

Used button remapper to make home button become red button (end call), spare parts to change function to act like home button when not in call. Now my question is, is there any way of changing long press of end call (my home button) to open up last accessed apps list like the regular home button would. Right now long press opens up same dialog as long press of power button...not really useful.

remapping long press home button

Hello All,
I've conceded the fact that the phantom presses from capacitive buttons occur and cannot be stopped so I rooted my device (and commented the use of the search and menu button to be benign / vestigial). I am realizing home much I need to use the menu button. I attempted to use a program that put up a on screen menu but I just disliked it. I also to use launch key, but it only impact the long press of the search button which is already turned off.
Is there anyway to remap the longpress of home to act as a menu button?
Best,
Norman

Home button lag with disabled lockscreen

So heres my problem in a nutshell:
When I press the home button, my phone unlocks (I have no lockscreen), however it takes me to the home screen. Whereas if I hit the power button, the screen turns on where I left off. This is the expected behavior.
If I go into S-Voice, and select "Open via the home key", the home key unlocks the phone correctly, but I have to deal with the home button lag issue.
So, how do I get the best of both worlds? No lockscreen, no home button lag, and no issue with using the home button to wake the phone.
I could do without S-Voice all together so if thats an option Im OK with it.

[Q] Dragging up from home button/long pressing home button won't lead to Google Now.

As the title says, when I drag from the home button to the search icon or long press the home button, nothing happens. Google Now doesn't open. What am I doing wrong? I disabled/deleted a few of the bloatware apps that came with the phone (non rooted). Any ideas?
