It's my understanding that the lockscreen in Sense 5.5 cannot be disabled. Is that correct? I am using Widget Locker so for the most part I don't have to deal with the sense lockscreen but occasionally it pops up and I'd like to disable it all together.

Not that I have found. I finally reverted back (after a week) to 4.2 and sense 5 mostly because of this.
Look for my update later tonight....I've added it back.

It will be a whole rom, I try to stay away from patches whenever possible.
I tried new Viper rom last night however sense 5.5 there was no option not to have a lock screen. Deal breaker for me, I hate the lock screen I find it useless & annoying. Giving Stock with goodies for Sprint a try. Hopefully this gets added back in future releases.
I have the same problem, yet this app works really great for disable sense 5.5 for the time being - No Lock

This is THE deal breaker for me. It's an option I want, and it's something that affects me every single time I use my phone or even just want to look at the screen. Back to Sense 5 for now.:silly:

Sorry if this was asked before but I've been looking for the past few days and I couldn't find nothing about this.
Available on the play store. Not 100% sure which one has it but either magic lock or the milocker has the addon for it.

It is available in GB roms that use the tsm lockscreens mod. I imagine once ICS officially drops it will be updated. Here is a sweet one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1429635&highlight=tsm+lockscreen

The Nexus devices show a transparent floating list on the right side of the screen where you can swipe away open apps, CM goes one step further and gives you a button to close all open apps. The HTC One takes you to another screen with really small pictures of apps you swipe away one by one to close. Ideally I am looking for the CM version of that, or would even settle for the stock Google version.
Wait until the Google edition then flash that.

You see the whole part about me posting here is that I don't want to wait. But thanks for the suggestion.
TrickDroid rom has an option in its settings to change from sense multitasking to the nexus style you are referring to. Only thing is there is no close all option like CM.

Its a framework change. I've done it before on another phone. And by the way, you don't need to wait for the google edition. CM10.1 is exactly that with more features.

You'll probably have to ask someone to make it for you specifically, or Flash TrickDroid which isn't far off a stock rom other than some theme options

Hi All,
Currently running ARHD 11.0 on my HTC One. I've deleted the HTC Lock Screen and now have the AOSP Lock Screen (see first attached pic).
Its not bad, but what I'm really looking for is the Lock Screen found on the Google Edition HTC One (see second attached pic). The difference is the bold hours and the ability to add widgets.
I know there probably isn't a quick fix, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Would love this too! I think it's the framework-res.apk that needs to be modified - although, am not sure if it's the HTC version or the original.

If you use ViperOne and use the AOSP lockscreen, does it still have that annoying "feature" where you have to unlock the phone when you have an incoming call before you can answer it?

I'm not here to try and sell you it, just making a suggestion to get AOSP lock screen, which was the original question. You could make a nandroid backup of ARHD and flash it, if you don't like it, just do a restore.

Hoping someone can assist
Use this for now. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2343150
I know it has already been recommended, but in all honesty the Holo Locker Premium application is just amazing and well worth every penny. I tried the trial version with not much hope and I absolutely loved it. At first whenever I would wake it up, the HTC lockscreen would appear for a second and then the Holo lockscreen, so then I used TitaniumBackup to freeze the HTC Lockscreen and that doesn't happen anymore; of course if you're not rooted, that will be hard to achieve.
I realize that you want pattern unlock, but I guess you can't always get everything. You can delete the HTC Lockscreen apk (back it up first) from the system/app and you'll get the AOSP lockscreen but with only one button on the right (unlock) and no other choices, and also when someone calls, you'd have to unlock in order to see who it is (same thing with choosing to install AOSP Lockscreen on most ROMs like TrickDroid) which gets annoying.
I know it's not ideal since you won't get any security lock options, but in all honesty it's the best I have tried so far.

Sorry Sir, over looked that
Was hesitant since the ROM is not in the VZW forum. I've tried non-carrier specific ROMs on other phones and not had the best experience. Well, that is not the case with this ROM - it is the best one out. I had been a huge Viper fan from my DNA, but the current release for the HTC One has some bugs. I have not found a single bug in IntertCoin so far. And, it has Sweep to Wake and soft key blink for notifications built in (was a nice surprise when I stumbled upon both features). So, TRY THIS ROM!
Saw this link for sense 6 on reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/htcone/comments/212mgc/htc_sense_6_rom_for_htc_one_leak/. Is this for real and possibly usable by our htc ones?

The lock screen widgets are the same as 5.5. Just swipe from the top of the screen and it will bring you to another screen where you can add them.
Edit: maybe not...I swear it let me on version 3.0 but on 3.1 I'm not able to swipe over.

Gestures from lock screen
I was running the Sense 6.0 from Santod yesterday and lost support for gestures only when using a 3rd party launcher. I think that's sense related and not ROM related, so hopefully that helps guys.
Running Sense 6 great
I'm running NuSense6 4.6 from santod with no issues. Sense 6 works well and battery life is phenomenal (3-4%/hr with light usage). Extreme Power Saver turns it into a touch screen flip phone, but was in standby overnight for 8 hrs and used 3% of battery. Very pleased!
