Actually WhatsApp Plus can do this job too. And it has more features than whatsapp toolbox.

There is no need for toolbox, just turn off data while reading messages.

[Q]keyboard

I have a question.....about htc's keyboard (RCMixHD rom)..i don't remember the stock one..but either way....where can I find phone smileys ....without using any app like go sms pro....(there I have an option ..and I see them )and when I check out the standard program they appear there too...they are like this "" but with an android instead this ball
Awww, my baby sister asked the same question...
There isn't a button that brings up the smilies but honestly, three key presses will get most (punctuation).
on the Stock HTC keyboard press "12#" then "1/2"
All I know about that is on WhatsApp.
It is a free App on market tha allow you to send and recieve SMS like a chat to everybody who have the same app. It is for free because it works on 3g wireless network.
If u use it for your SMS (Free with a flat internet plain), it will give u the possibility to use smiles.
Sorry

[Q] How to show contact image on Whatsapp?

hi, i wanted to know how can I enable or why my whatsapp is not showing me the pictures of my contacts, I have all my contacts on my google account, none on the phone, and none on the sim card, and a lot of the are linked to facebook, twitter, etc.
and if you look at contacts all of them show the pictures, but in whatsapp only a few show the pictures of the contacts
any solution?
Probably you are not able to see Facebook contact photos in whatsapp. There were allowed to be "pulled" in Sense 3.0 but in Sense above this version they are not shown.
There are few solutions:
1. If you have a rooted phone you can try Photo Unlocker application, sadly, it has been pulled out from the market so you would need to search XDA for it.
2. You can use HaxSync to sync the pictures from Facebook and they would show normally. Alternative app is called Friend Caster.
3. People say there was an update to Whatsapp recently (can't see any on the market to be honest just now) which enables it.
After synchronizing your contacts with facebook, use photounlocker to unlock the restriction on facebook contacts.
1- open app
2- press check, it will ask for root permissions
3- press check again
4- press unlock
Done
Enjoy

Thanks! worked great!
it didn't work for me, I get error msg
Any other solutions?
Thank you very much. i was looking everywhere for this fix.
if on sense, facebook for htc sense is needed and it will synchronise you friends photos from fb
on Aosp you need to manually add a picture to each contsct you have, but this process you do it once in s liftime and whatever the rom you will be using your contacts photo will remain on any google phone
amazing app ... worked like magic thnx

If you want to tell about a particular app, link it. Don't just order people to to a Google search.

Developers of the app.
Haha. The OP seems to be cheating on his gf.
**JUST KIDDING**
And.. there are some other apps which turn off data while u use whatsapp and then re-enable it whn u exit.. that makes whatsapp hide the last seen..
does it do something similar to that??

nopes.. when data is on.. and when u use whatsapp toolbox.. u can chat with ur gf.. so u don't want to get disturb by ur friends. .. thn ur last seen status will be ur older one.. or in other words u r online on whatsapp but ur last seen status remains unchanged..

SMS Small App

I did my best to create an decent and free SMS small app.
This can be useful when you want to quickly read/reply to an text message without leaving your current application.
Features:
-send and read text messages in threaded views
-quick access to 5 most recent threads
-communication with native app (through sms database): sent messages will come up in the native apps conversations
What it doesn't (or shouldn't ) do:
-mark messages read by the small app as read in the main app. (see below)
-anything with group messages
-copy/delete/forward/... messages
-show smileys as images (they're shown as plain text), make links, numbers, etc. clickable,...
I tried to mark the messages as read in the native app, and although it worked and the message was read, the native app didn't update his icon nor delete the notification. The unread counter was only reset when another message came in and was opened with the native app. Because of this I decided to not mark them as read at all, so when you would open the message in the native app all counters, notifications etc. would be properly updated.
To run this app, press the recent apps button and look for the sms icon in the horizontal bar (you might need to scroll to the right).
Although no malicious actions are intended at all, this application is in Beta stage (and will remain in that stage for quiet a while, I suspect) and comes with absolutely no guarantees. It might corrupt your sms database, send messages to the wrong persons etc. Usage is at your own risk and application is provided "as is." I recommend to make a backup.

Cyanogen Mod doesn't have Small apps feature.
But, if you have a halo compatible ROM, then you can use it to enjoy the experience!
Dude this is absolutely fantastic, thank you and well done. You should get it into the play store. Props

Glad you like it. I won't put it in the play store (for now) because I'm to cheap to pay for developer account, just to release something for free.
By the way, if you find any bugs, please let me know and I'll try to find some time to look into it. Extra features may also be suggested off course, but since I'm really busy it may take quite a while before I start looking into it.

I can imagine that being import to dual-sim users, so I'll see what I can do as soon as I have some time.

I looked into it, but I'm afraid I will have to disappoint you. Android doesn't have an api to support dual-sim phone and even unofficial documentation seems to be very scarce.
If someone else knows how to do this, please tell me.
