I accidentally deleted my home apk and am stuck with a different launcher tried downloading even the official hone apk but seems i cant install them even when I push them to system app and change permissions nothing happens i need some advice

Delete the home.odex file found in /system/app
reboot
copy your home.apk to system/app and reboot
