Just flashed the slim kat 4.4 ROM last night and I realise I can't find the stock Google play music equaliser. Got DSP manager instead.. Really liked the stock equaliser before it and wanting to get it back. Any ideas on how to solve??
Cheers

So I've noticed with ice cream sandwich on my rezound that dsp manager does not work for many of the music launchers I use such as stock and poweramp like it did on gb. So can anyone try this dsp with poweramp or stock music player to see if it works on jelly bean. Not sure if this belonged in Q&A or themes so mods feel free to move it to the correct sub forum.

I mainly use dspmanager to lower the min headset volume at night when I listen to goings before passing out, and get fc's when I try to select an equalizer preset.

Ok, I've had no success installing the apk for the stock music player through Titanium Backup onto CM10. Is there a way around it? If so, how? I like the fact that the widget shows the playlist on the screen and I can scroll through it. If there is another music player that can do this in the widget, please let me know so maybe I can try that out as well. Thank you.
The thing is that it relies on tw framework
And can't be used without it
Cm10 removes it completely so the music player won't work
Also people have tried and failed many rimes porting the player from the s1 and s2
I'm not to sure about the s3 but I don't think anyone is going to try

OK, thank you for this. Can you think of any music player that has a widget than can expand and having a scrolling playlist like this player currently does?
Sorry bro but I don't use the widget
I reccomend making a new question cause this thread title causes many people to ignore it

Op wanted the touch wiz apps like music

Dude poweramp in the play store is the most advanced music player around . its cost a few bucks but its completely worth it . and has like 5 different size widgets and u can download a lot of different skins . I like tw player too but poweramp is great
I just had the application, Apollo appear on my Nexus 7.
Any ideas on how this happened?

You flashed Cyanogenmod
Did you flash the Beats + Xlouder 4.1.1mod?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1889522
I did install the JB louder audio patch. I am running a stock ROM.
Any harm in disabling Apollo?

does jb louder work?
Does the jb louder work? Can you notice the improvements. The beats I notice a quality improvement but don't notice my device being any louder.
You could disable it, i dont see the harm in it. but its a great music player
IMO Apollo is horrible. It's ugly, buggy and does not have a lot of functionality. Can't understand why CM10 includes it.

Yeah the BETA was so much better. Doesn't really make sense. Apparently the dev is rewriting it (like the 454534534th time) but it seems more like a dropped project.
I really do like Spotify's simple interface tbh. Not many do though lol

Apollo music player is included in the beats+xlouder zip.
No harm in disabling it, just that your music player may not support the mods. You could even go to /system/app and delete apollo.
I use the Sony Walkman player ported from the Xperia T and its really good
Hi guys. Ive been looking everywhere for the original music apk from the stock rom from the t989. Ive searched and searched on the and have found nothing but moded music apps. My tmobile t989 originally was runnin on stock rom with ics. Im running the jedi mind trick X rom which is great but the original music apk is not there anymore. All that is there is the google play music apk and im not found of the walkman music or Apollo music apps. Any help would be great. Thanks everyone who stopped by and took a look
You should be able find it in a stock rom flashable zip. Just open the archive and look in system/app. I would post it, but I don't have a stock rom on my sdcard. My phone hasn't seen stock almost since I received it.

I've always found the stock TW music app to be deplorable. Have you looked at Power Amp? It's universally considered one of, if not the, best music players on Android.

You can use the S3 Player on Jedimind Trick, Will test it now on Jellybean.
Are you just looking for a good music player or stock player?

Edit: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23338273 try here and make sure you use the older version (2.3.2). The newer version will cause you bootloops. I'm running unofficial slim and that's my player of choice with the acid mod.

Apollo from the CM team is the lightest and simplest music player there is and it works great with GE roms. Search The web for their Apollo 4.3 apk
