I recently rooted my Nexus 7 2013 and have been trying to reinstall my apps. All of them have downloaded and it is great. But, when it comes to my Nova Launcher Prime, Google Play attempts to start the download and it does this for about 5 minutes. Then a dialog box comes up with this: "Error -- "Nova Launcher Prime" could not be downloaded due to an error. (495)". How can I go about solving this problem?

Hello, when i go to widgets the launcher fc, Why it does it?
Seems like the majority of 3rd party widgets I had on my Nexus One is not compatible with ICS....
I'm hoping that'll change
It gives fc in the originals widgets.
I thought it was one of the apps on my phone, but I uninstalled some of them, and my launcher still force closes when I browse through the widgets.
After uninstalling those apps, when browsing on the second screen of widgets when it crashes, the widgets on screen are Calendar 2 x 3, Contact 4 x 1, contact 1 x 1, Direct Dial 1 x 1, direct Message 1 x 1, Directions and Navigation 1 x 1.
restoring the apps that I uninstalled previously, it gets past the pages with the previously mentioned widgets without crashing, and crashes on the fourth page, with widgets for Evernote, Filemanager HD, and Foursquare.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
I am running the stock ROM, rooted and with ClockworkMOD recovery flashed. I haven't made any other customizations, yet.
EDIT: I fixed the problem when I flashed the latest factory image, and loaded my apps one by one. It looks like it was one bad app that I restored from my previous phone. Odd that it wasn't one of those that was showing when the launcher crashed. It looks like it was the KCRW radio player app.
I am having the same issue. Did you ever find a work around?
Whenever I use Google Now to search Google (either with voice or input text), I get an "Unforunately, Google Search has stopped" error, even though everything appears to be working perfectly fine behind the pop-up. When I tap "ok" it force closes Google Now.
I have CM 10.2 (nightly 10-31-13) installed, with the APK's for the Google Experience Launcher downloaded from here: QBKing77 Google Experience Launcher
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
Greetings!
Has anyone been able to get to the app permission settings aka 'App Ops' on the 2014 Note 10?
I'm not rooted and have tried multiple apps on the Play store as well as the activities shortcut on Apex launcher but nothing works. Just takes me to the main settings page of the device.
Thanks!
My google home launcher is having annoying issues. For some reason the folders won't always open all the way. Its like the animation doesn't complete. Happens on any custom ROM I try with any number of items in folder with any theme I try. Any fix? I love the launcher but this is annoying.
Nobody has any ideas?
Hello everyone!
I managed to sideload Chrome browser to my TV (for some reason it's not on the AndroidTV app store) and it works great, except I don't get an icon in the app launcher after installing it.
I am able to start it (by selecting Open) immediately after installing it, but I have to reinstall it to use it afterwards.
Any ideas/suggestions on how I could add it to my app launcher? Or how I can bind it to a button on the remote?

Click to collapse
Install side launcher, it is just a folder with apps
Install activity launcher then you can open (activity launcher) and open any other app's launch activity to launch it.
I went with Sideload Launcher - it worked perfectly. Thanks for the tip!
