If you want init.d support, first of all you must be rooted, next you will need busybox and finally you must install this.
Thanks for u to give me init.d support, but i would like to get the script to swap internal with external storage.
I'd like to swap my external as a internal memory too.. GT-I9192
please

about pen drive the answer is no... but m not sure about ubuntu...
Ubuntu will not be available for Galaxy Y as Ubuntu needs dual core specs to run on any device and our phone doesn't meet the requirements
Using external USB devices is not yet possible
there are some ROMS check out which one you would like on your device

Use a2sd to use mem card as internal memory
Check out d general and development section for instructions.
Y U NO PRESS "THANKS"??
scribbled from my GT-S5360
Hello All,
I'm using the latest version of this rom [ROM][4.2.2][N5110/N5100/N5120] CivZ-FLEX-BEAM-REV3.6.1 + SphereXtreme [08/nov/2013],
but I cannot use link2sd to move apps to sd card, i think the problem related to ext2/3/4 drivers. maybe this rom doesn't support link2sd.
Could you please tell me that does this rom support link2sd, if it does, please help me how to make it work.
Thanks.
I can't seem to be able to swap my internal memory with an external SD card on my T-999.
I used to be able on android 4.2 but since I update to S3Rx 3.0 TouchWiz 4.3 I can't do it anymore.
I downloaded a script from this forum post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1772234
I then downloaded Universal Init.d app since the rom didn't seem to have working init.d support despite saying so.
Now the script runs (it leaves a log behind) but the memories don't get swapped. Has anyone succeeded in swapping memories on android 4.3? if so can you help me out by pointing at a working method? (kudos will be given to whoever can help )
Touchwiz 4.3 has a lot of issues in that direction. You could try Apps2SD or Pictures2SD and see if that helps.
P.S. - To my knowledge, there is no init.d support on Touchwiz. You could try Universal init.d but success rate on Touchwiz is unknown.
Thanks I'm gonna try Apps2SD see if that can help me out for the time being. Cheers!

You need to edit the Build.prop in root/system and add these lines:
# Storage configuration
persist.sys.vold.switchablepair=sdcard0,sdcard1
# Change to 1 for swapping SD cards
persist.sys.vold.switchexternal=1
It may not work on KitKat 4.4.3 or lower.so you should flash 4.4.4 CM11 or equivalent.
CM 9, CM 10, cm 10.1 and CM 10.2 will all work.
Just go Settings / Storage/ press menu buttom / Advanced Storage Settings
Haha, thanks but i posted this 3 months ago Thanks anyway
Hi. As we know, ace 2 officially does not supports 64gb memory cards. Is that so? What about custom roms? It would be nice if somebody who has a 64gb card in a2 could write something about it.
Cheers
