I recently broke my battery door (the back cover) accidentally while pulling it out to remove the battery. I searched online, but there are only combos (and hence costly) . i am planning to sell it out so, i need a cheaper one.
P.S. i am from India. Please suggest some

Search for the Sprint extended battery offer - believe it was $6-7 for the extended battery and it came with a back cover. Sprint contract not required.
Or this....
sprint.com/freebattery you can go there and get a free back and battery

Hello,
My Atrix sometimes dies on me in the middle of the day because I use it heavily so now I've decided I need to buy an extra battery. But I don't trust/want those custom batteries with an extended battery cover. So I'm looking to buy a genuine OEM battery, by genuine I mean an actual Atrix 4g battery that came out of the box, not a copy.
If anyone's willing to sell me one or know where I can get one, please help me!
Thank you!
e-bay or AT&T store....
Don't want to bother looking for the post but someone said they called motorola and they sent him a new battery.

i just ordered one off of amazon. its the bh5x intstead of the 6, but it has 20 more milliamps!!!!!11!one, and is oem.
I got one free from motorola. Didn't even have to call, I used the online chat. It's covered under warranty
Just tell them your issue with the battery.
I had to buy the extended battery for my GNex replacement since it was my 2nd upgrade phone due to issues and I'm wondering does the extended battery have an NFC chip in it or what? I'm going to be really pissed if it doesn't have it and need to buy one that does have an NFC chip in it. I bought it from Verizon in store.
It has NFC

Yes it has it....pretty sure the box mine came in said extended battery w/ NFC chip. Could have been wrong...but pretty sure the box says it right on front.

Box never mentioned NFC on it and the back was a PITA to get on so I don't want to take it off to check the battery to see if it said it. I swear, that back cover came with a few bent pins right out of the box and made for a really hard time getting it installed perfectly.
As mentioned, it does have it. If the extended battery cover is a pain, put the stock one back on. That's what im using with the extended battery.
They just sent me the phone itself, no battery or cover. Had to buy the extended battery and cover.
I think the nfc is in the phone, the battery has to have the antenna

My battery is completely dead and is swollen to the point where I cant even get back cover on. I was looking to pick one up locally and I live in Chicago and thought it would be pretty easy to find replacement. Its not at all. Even the Sprint stores say they are all out of stock for replacement batteries for the E4T they only have the extended ones for 100bucks. I really dont want to be out of a phone a the few days that it will take to ship. Are there other phone batteries that work in a E4GT that may be more common that someplace like best by will have in store. Thanks
The OG epic....make sure u return that battery to Samsung and make them send you a new one. It may take 3 weeks, but your gonna need that

Just came across same problem in Orlando. 2 sprint stores, 2 batteries plus, 2 radio shacks, and one best buy. Nobody has our battery. Batteries plus could order it for me, and it'd cost $45. I ordered 2, plus an external charger off amazon, paid for overnight shipping, total cost $33. Regular shipping total was $14 I think.

Order on Amazon. I don't know if best buy carriers them in store but the do carry an extended battery and radio Shack has the same one as best buy. Check stock at stores around you. Or take it to your service provider, I think Sprint might switch it out. You can get the one from best buy or Radio Shack for like $25.

Cool, a sprint store gave me a battery even though I was out of warranty. Actually they didnt even see my phone. I pulled out the battery and showed them it was about to explode. She grabbed it took it in the back and brought out a new one. Its a 1500mah but she said to come see her tomorrow and shed give me the 1800. Very nice of her.
Also guys don't forget ATT and T-Mobile have Galaxy S2 in case something like this comes up again. Lots of swollen batteries lately.
Any sgs1/sgs2 battery will fit but sgs1 batteries are only 1500mah instead of 1800. You can find pairs with external chargers for about $25 on Amazon, Hyperion, anker and empire are the best non OEM brands. I'm actually going to sprint tomorrow to get mine replaced if they have any in stock around here, and then once I get a replacement I'm gonna order a pair with charger off of amazon so I have 3 i can rotate to help prevent the bulge reoccurring. Mines not super bulged but once it drops below 40% it will flicker and shut off and when i reboot its dead until I plug in and reboot then it jumps back to 40%+. Its quite annoying
We are legion, for we are many.

Hello all, I am a regular over at the Photon forums. I've just purchased a Sprint Galaxy Nexus and, naturally, went online to find the right extended batteries and cases. From what I have read, the OEM extended battery from Samsung that was released for Verizon works just fine. But, the extended backing apparently doesn't fit correctly on the Sprint version. I am aware that there are other third party extended batteries/covers but I've always been with the understanding that when it comes to batteries, stay with the original OEM. I've read through the forums for some information but am getting mixed reviews. Can someone shed some light onto this and perhaps point me in the right direction of a good extended battery with proper Sprint backplate? Thank you in advance.
::EDIT::
Btw, I would much like to stick with a 2100mAh ish sized battery. Not very interested in the huge bulky 3000mAh+'s.
call sprint. or you may be able to get it from their website. I got notice of it immediately in my Sprint "inbox." I got an extended battery for "free," just had to pay shipping...it's the samsung brand that comes with NFC embedded & the cover (associated with the larger battery).
Good Luck!

The actual battery probably does, but the door probably does not considering it doesnt work well the other way around.
I've got an i896 (Rogers) and I'm wondering what my best, most reliable options are for getting an extended battery for this thing?
Also, my power button has full-on died (non-responsive) - is it possible for me to fix this or am I out of luck?
Thanks so much!
Check the battery in my signature. It's original Samsung 1800mAh for Epic 4G and fits Captivate with standard battery cover. I'm getting 5-6h screen on time, many hours talk time, and easily >60h standby with WIFI on. The ROM I'm using is latest stable CyanogenMod. Don't go with Chinese no-name batteries.
To clean the power button you need to disassemble the phone. There is a thread here on XDA with instructions how to do it. Some people report good results using electric contact cleaning spray and compressed air. There is no guarantee that it will start working again, though. The switch may need replacement.

hello just a piece of advice taking care of your battery, live themes and high resolution live wall paper / themes will also be a reason to shorten the battery life of your phone.
You can also adjust your display settings lower down the brightness
