im playing with a 4.4 aosp build that aospa made for nexus 7(fhd) and it is amazing. the speed difference and smoothness of the OS is a huge step foreword, even in an early quick build. Lol now ill be perfectly happy as soon as they finish making a flashable gapps, and my note gets an aosp build, 4.3 or 4.4, i want to remove touchwiz!!! and yes i know, i could try to build it, and i have been trying, but im obviously missing something, cause i cant get anything to boot that isnt touchwiz

The only probablem with and AOSP build on this phone is you are going to lose 80% of the functionality of this phone. The entire design of the phone, spen, sensors, automated services, etc are built around TW. Once TW is gone, all that is gone, and what is left is a fast processor with stock android and 2 or 3 spen apps that may or may not work on the Note 3
Essentially you want to take a Chevy Cobalt, and stick a Aftermarket engine in and and a Custom paint job. when it's said and done, it's still going to be a regular old Cobalt.

i dont use the spen, nor have i ever. i have bought every single note, based on screen size alone, and the development community. i prefer aosp, i dont comment on others desire to use tw and the many many features it offers. I just dont use them, so would prefer to have a rom that didnt have them. I i used multiwindow, or spen, etc, i wouldnt ask for aosp. If google released a note 3 sized device, i would buy it, but since they dont, i buy the note series and wait for our genius devs to make me cm roms to play with

A lot of us don't even use 98% of TouchWiz's gimmicky features - we just love the big display. I've had to install at least a half dozen apps AND Xposed just to get back a lot of what is built into CyanogenMod, for example.
One nice feature of TouchWhiz, though, is swiping down in fullscreen apps shows the hidden notification bar, but, 4.4 will have that feature stock now. Magazine, AirStuff, SmartFooScrollWhatever, SPen Blah... however, won't miss it. I'll probably miss the camera, since that's one of things that's often hit or miss when CM is first released on a new device. Oh, almost forgot: I'll definitely miss the nice InfraRed universal remote app that comes with the device, because the next best one costs $$$.

AH gotcha, In that case it makes sense. Always curious to find out why people purchase certain phones and then want to put Aosp on them.
And there are people working on AOSP, but until somebody gets a base, that is stable, we won't see it. From the guys i talk to, until the dev edition is released, Sammy is keeping a tight lid on it because they don't want another leak, like the S4 had
For the people that want it. I know it's not AOSP, but when I get this INT. RoM picked apart like i want it for the masses. I will work on a seperate Int. ROM that will have as much TW removed without breaking the phone. Or, just replace TW with a custom Launcher that will let me freeze all the garbage you guys don't care about.
aosp always takes time, bs tw roms, nothing to do with samsung, just a matter of devs having to create drivers, etc. im pretty sure one of the cm devs got cm running on the tmobile note 3, but it was to buggy to release.took a couple months for note 1,note 2, etc, we will have it soon. I may be wrong, but the nexus 5 may make the note 3 easier to get to aosp, because it uses the same chip set, so i think it may make things a bit smoother, not alot, but hey every bit helps!
only reasons i bought note 3 knowing nexus 5 was coming is
-5.7 screen
-sd card
-snapdragon 800
Wish someone could make an AOSP rom that has all of the s-pen features present. Would be the greatest of all time.

Same here. The Touch Wiz stuff is there to show off in commercials for the average brain dead consumer to think is cool. First thing I do is disable all the motion/eye crap. The pen is the only thing I miss, but I really only used that for Draw Something.
To all the guys that love aosp and not TW you should switch to the nexus 5. How could you not like any of the features? Camera and such? Having aosp is like ANY other phone as old as it gets. Stock Android is available for many devices. Note 3 has its own special set of features, removing it it's like a car with no wheels. Not one of kind anymore just like the phone your buddy has. 700 phone to look like a 200 device is just dumb. But that's yalls minds I guess.

Unfortunately i'm among those brain dead consumers that you speak of. I actually don't like Sammy software, and have not since the Behold For those that even remember that phone). I do on the other hand, use alot of the features that come with it as i'm an IT and it makes life easier for me to carry around the note 3 instead of a tab, and pen/paper, and lap top to be able to do what i can do with this.
Waiting CyanogenMod!

I think ultimately we(donate) and they(devs) make solutions. My proposition is to rebuild multi window via s command style, draw box you have a window, minimize you get a floating bubble(notifications on bubbles would make sense). I don't know how hard that would be to build for AOSP but Clean android and multi App Window would make for a very light weight and productive Rom. I believe something similar is soon to be released but not with this level of simplicity hardware/user wise. Plus I've seen multi window on aosp roms coming to play out so I can't imagine why this isn't feasible.
**update**
Omnirom is the name of the rom that will feature multi window on aosp.

Nexus 5 is a 5in screen.
Note 3 is a 5.7in screen.
And stock android can be modified to be far more unique than TW by the way.
And there are people who don't find any of these features useful, which was stated before. It will be a shame to loose the camera app though.
Nexus ONE
Nexus 5 has 0 microSD slots
Note 3 has 1 microSD slot
Plainly put I brought this phone for the hardware not the software. I would have brought this phone with out the spen and Samsung features lol

Yeah I had been waiting for the nexus 5, sold my n4 and decided to go with the note3, totally happy I did..
i dont want a 5" phone without sd, i want a 5'7 inch screen, with sd, and the note 3 looks way better then the n5. I dont like touchwiz,i hate it, but i love samsung hardware. The beauty of android is choice, why complain that other people have a opinion that isnt the same as yours?

I have been wondering for a while , how many % of the users in here use aosp based roms (like aokp cm9/10 etc ) and the rest of them using TW based roms , is there a decent percentage of SGS3 owners interested of having the tabletui running on there tw based rom .. or not .
if anyone wonders how tw tablet ui looks you can have a look at screenshots allover the web from the newest tablet from samsung ..
of course without a device in hand its pretty hard for me to do this , not only i know i can do this but I would if i had one thats for sure .
im very happy with my note and do I do not intend on switching phone anytime soon, still under contract for 2 + years makes it pretty ridiculous for me to buy a 600 + deving phone .
So lets not get carried away here (ie trolls keep out) , all i m asking here is, is there need for this type of mod on this device ?
if so then we can start looking into how to make this work .
Sounds very interesting but I am going to get Note II soon and that will be my primary device going forward. A month+ ago when the specs for the LTE Galaxy Note II was not available, I would have been interested...
I personally have no interest in a tablet UI on my GS3 - however, I know there are surely some folks out there who would jump at the chance! What would be the advantage of a tablet UI on a 4.8" screen?
I personally don't see the need for tablet mode on the GS3. The screen is just too small to put it to good use. The Note is a different story however.
coming from a GNOte... and specially from one of ur Roms DAGr8 i would love to have a TW Tablet mode
I just started playing around with paranoid android and I do like the tablet mode for the workspace with the back and home buttons on the bottom bar with the notifications, I dont have to reach as far to hit the back button. If I could have something similar but with all the bells and whistles of touchwiz I would be in.

Never was a big fan of TW on the GS2 although I must say it's much nicer on the GS3. I always end up using a different launcher anyways if I stay on a TW rom. I usually prefer PA for the tablet UI and AOKP for certain other features. Your KingKang looks pretty sweet, maybe you could bring that over?

To be honest dude, ive been yearning for a tablet UI TW ROM. I've seen your ROM on the note and it's very nice.

Came from the Note myself, and was a big fan of your work. I would live to see a tablet ui for the note.

Bump. I'm looking for this too.
EDIT:
I did a bit of researching, and I couldn't find anything. In my opinion your best option is installing a ParanoidAndroid ROM (based off CM10 or AOKP depending on which you like) and then a TouchWiz theme.
You should be able to find a ParanoidAndroid ROM in your device's thread.
Here's the link to the TouchWiz theme: http://www.mrmad.net/mrmaddon-jellywiz-edition-fur-galaxy-nexus-2208, scroll down and download the "TouchWiz Jelly Bean Addon 1.3.3" and flash in CWM.
Until someone releases REAL TouchWiz tablet UI, this is all we got.
Is use paranoidkangdroid, a mashup between aokp and paranoidandroid. And I personally love having a tablet ui. Especially apps like Gmail and YouTube are much better in tablet mode. It would be interesting to try out a tw tablet ui for this phone, as I do miss some of the touch wiz features. Like the camera and s beam. I would definitely download it if you were to make one

I would love a tablet UI for the S3, especially if I have the option of moving between phone UI (even TW) and tablet UI...that would be sweet.
I've read a news article on Pulse that this phone won't have much developer support due to Samsung keeping some files locked out for developer support, and that Cyanogenmod won't be developing on this phone due to that.

I don't understand the situation fully, but it sounds like Samsung has committed to releasing the source, so I am hoping that means it will get Cyanogenmod and good dev support.

This might be a dumb question, I've just begun researching this but it concerns development. I'm considering jumping from my Verizon contract to AT&T for this phone, based on the virtual certainty that the Verizon version will have a locked bootloader. Are AT&T phones locked on a case by case basis, or is it already a given that this phone will release with devs able to mess with it? I don't want to play a waiting game like the S3 on Verizon despite their huge number of users.

Same. I don't think I'll be flashing any Non-TW ROM on the Note 2. I've been flashing AOKP and CM10 on the Note 1 so I've been missing the TW S-Pen features.

Pretty much all I know is what I read on rootzwiki, but I thought that they were not going to drop all Samsung devices, but only the ones that used Exynos CPU's due to inadequate source or documentation or something. But then I think Samsung has committed to releasing this, so hopefully that means Cyanogenmod will not drop them anymore, but I haven't heard anything official.

I have to admit a lot of the features they added do seem genuinely useful, but I still think I would give them up for Cyanogenmod.
It is my understanding (from what I have read about the Note 1, etc) that android natively supports stylus input since ICS, and so it should be able to still work in Cyanogenmod. It is just that there are very few apps that really make use of it besides the ones from Samsung, Hopefully this will improve over time though.
I am with you guys, I personally will root the device and debloat it for now... But stock rom right now seems to be very nice..lol...
We will have alot of great roms coming out either way with or without cm support. I know a couple devolpers coming here shortly and there work is awesome.
There will be plenty of support. I will be working on a few things myself once I get the device. I helped start the CM development in the original note.
And the reason why we run AOSP vs all the craptastic useless stuff Samsung adds its because I personally like vanilla Google. Samsung changes to much. Android in stock form is beautiful. Just my opinion not trying to start a flame war.
If I run stock it will be stripped down deodexed and debloated likke a mofo.
If I decode to build an device tree and attempt to build CM I will. With the open support from Samsung it won't be difficult.
I know of a few developers coming this way also we will have plenty of support I'm sure

Normally I agree, and my S3 i definitely agree. But this phone is built around samsungs incorporation of the s-pen and related features. If AOKP roms ignore the s-pen, theyre useless to me.. why even get this phone then?
I think the most popular roms on this phone will be stock based, debloated and feature rich roms, much like Ariel rom for the ATT Galaxy s3 out now.

Touchwiz is hideous.
Don't get me wrong, Samsung has done some great things with the multitask and S-pen, but AOSP Jellybean makes Touchwiz look like a featurephone UI from 2003.

This is exactly how I feel about it. I will root it, but I'm going to take my time about flashing a custom ROM. I want the full functionality of that stylus as designed - as an old Palm girl, this is one of the main reasons I'm getting the Note 2. That plus the excellent GPS - coming from a woefully awful Captivate GPS. I had a Garmin iQue 3600, the Palm OS GPS unit, and am frankly spoiled by that integration. If only Garmin hadn't given up like that.....

To the best of my knowledge, there is substantial dev support for the Note II. CM is rolling of nighlies even as we speak and PA is not left behind. JellyBam is also adding his own humble contribution. There are also substantial rom cooks dishing out various verities.
I understand initially, devs kicked against Sammy's policy but I guess Sammy was given a last chance, and we saw some dev activities. I for one actually waited till I saw activities befor ordering mine.
If Utacka is giving up, that will be a shame because, he made us good PA rom in Note I
It's a Great loss..for the community.I loved his work
As for cm 10.1 entropy says its dead on 4412 devices due to lack of sources..darn samsung..why cant they just release the frickin sources!
Not gonna cry too much.. Touchwiz > AOSP in my opinion.
- Camera is way better with a lot more options, notably burst mode and widescreen.. why does stock force you to take 4:3 pictures? this isn't 1998 anymore, all monitors/TVs are widescreen
- Gallery is much improved with different view types, video previews, play on hover, etc..
- FB contact integration out of the box, no need to mess around with Haxsync or other apps
- Multi-window, that alone trumps stock
- T9 Dialer
- Smart stay: When reading long text I got used to touching my screen every 30 seconds to keep it from turning off, never again
- Smart rotate: call this a "gimmick" all you want, but it's really nice to be able to lie down and read something without first disabling auto-rotate
- Contact list: smoothly integrated with the Phone app, no more ugly white theme that's oddly out of place with the rest of the UI
- S-Beam is much faster and more practical than Android Beam (you have both in Touchwiz anyway)
- Not counting all the s-pen apps since those are specific to the Note 2
- Overall feel of the OS feels less segmented and more cohesive
- Loads of small improvement all across the OS, things that make you say "oh nice, I don't need 4-5 steps to do that anymore"
So not too sad to see all the buggy AOSP roms disappear

100% agree with u , in the other hand i really love aosp roms but not for the Gnote
if u want to run aosp on note2 just throw ur s note pen in the drawer it will become like useless mouse :silly:
i know that maybe aosp roms a bit faster or lighter on ram but note2 have 2 GB of ram and beast cpu so there is no problem with TW
and samsung is the fastest company after Google to update their devices after Google ( i don't have problem waiting 2-3 month to get new android version after google release it )
I bought the note for the spen and its features.

It's true, Samsungs ROM is much more useful with this thing. It's just that, this thing is ugly as hell. Compare it to CM Theme Engine - fresh look with the snap of a finger. Outer beauty beats inner beauty? Well, for now I'd stay with Samsung ROM.

It is not about how sammy roms are more feautured or more beautiful it is about having the possibility of choice. Every populer Android device has this CM or AOSP options until now. And Android is my choice because of its possibilities of being able to transform into different user experiences.. I must decide this, not the company who stoles and lies to the people about discussing and deciding to release the source even though they have to according to the GPL.. . I honestly do not know how many people does not even root their phones but still there are a lot of people out there who believes in the potential of android software to get even better an dthose people deserve to have the option to choose what is best for themselves.. besides I want to believe more developers will develop their 3rd party apps and games for the more available sourced chipsets.. so the-once-most-powerful exynos is going to go down on the developers' preference list..

I'm not happy at all my phones going on eBay while I can still get a few ££££ .... Samsung just lost a customer....

You can use the S Pen with CM or AOSP roms. There are plenty of apps in Google Play that work with the S Pen and most are better than Samsung's S Note. I use Freenote. I use CM and I do not miss any of the Samsung features such as multiview and S Note.

Thanks for the support. If i was living in another country where i could believe the justice would apply to everyone adn Samsung exists as a company, i would sue Samsung and would not hire a lawyer. I would just say 'we hire the technology for a limited time nowadays. We do not buy it. And if we "tag" the reasons why we choose them by words Android would not get the "perfection", "smoothness", "defragmantetion", "optimised" words. It would get the "customiseblity", "wide range", "choices".. So this means everyone who pays great amount of money to their Android devices actually are aware of the fact that things could go "bad" or they would want more out of their devices. Very very few people buy their products "only" for Gmail checking and book reading. Once you go to the Google Play the problems start and people also start to seek solutions to their problems for their "not-so-cheap" devices. They start to search because deep down every Android user knows there should be a solution to their problems since many many people are using these devices and they paid very high amounts. But as i said, we just hire them. So there is no excuse when the service that we pay for are not there for us. And releasing the sources when a few more devices with Exynos 5 are out will not do any good to anyone because the "hiring" process works with the "valuable in the right time" rule. So there is no meaning of releasing the soruces after our devices are out of date and out of interest anymore. Because once newer devices are out it is going to be like we have paid good amount of moneys for a long await, long enough to reduce our devices values. Once we lose the dominating advantage of our CPUs and GPUs, there will not be any use for the sources because people will be already moved on and we wasted money for a waiting which got us lose money and time. So this is clearly cheating customers, lying and also not obeying to the GPL rules'
So even though i love Samsung devices if there will not be any upcoming good news by the new year My new device will never be a Samsung.. because i was supporting them for supporting my country with some scholarships but with a few hours of search i have learned they got involved with "bribing business" and did not even bother to fire the guy. And also are lying to the public about the sources, they can not even be a man about not releasing the sources. And i am very very sure a few thousand of people would listen to me about phone advises in the popular Turkish forums (i have advised hundereds in face to face). So i will not sink the company obviously but i will not let them get any money from a high amount of people either.

So what
Alot of roms dont have tablet mode.
I agree Sammys stock rom isn't the nicest looking but at least give it a few months until there's some decent update before flashing new roms and complaining about stock and lack of development. I don't think the UI will change all that much but just use go launcher or something. If your rooted just freeze everything you don't need wit TB.
People are OBSESSED with new roms and I think alot of ppl do it just to say "Oh you have a Note II, me too. Look at my custom ROM and how cool I it looks". Instead of "Oh you have a Note II, me to. Look how smooth and fluid it works"
Then again I prefer roms build off sammys base (prob all in my head)
Who knows what's happening anymore. I see developers moving to the xperia t...but then I see locked boot loaders and no working camera (cm10).
I see our note 2 with no support from Samsung, although they did say something would happen by the end of the year and no one has patience.
The HTC one x has no expandable memory and the poor tegra 3 chip that was pretty much outdated 2 months after its release.
There's really nothing that can run aosp as well as a nexus device. But then again, they lack features like expandable memory.
So in the end no one will ever be happy with anything.

Hello mates,
My question is if you know if the Cyanogenmod team is working or will work in one of the SM-P605 ROM.
Thank you very much!

AFAIK at the moment there is no development, nor comments on plans for it. That being said, when you look at the Samsung lineup supported historically, it ought to get support at some point.
Also worth keeping an eye out for any OmniROM support in the future, which consists of a solid team of developers, including Chainfire. It will support S3 and Note II at some point, so perhaps more Samsung stuff will be added later. Note, that OmniROM will support multiwindow.

I was waiting for the release of the new Nexus 10, but as it seems that Google has other plans I have considered purchasing a Note 10.1 2014 Edition.
The problem is that I prefer pure Android on Samsung adds layers, so my question about Cyanogenmod ROMS.
If not they hope the team OmniROM get something going.
Greetings Fellow.

I was also waiting for the Nexus 10, I love my Nexus 7. The s-pen and multi-window convinced me to get this tablet though. So far I am very happy and use both features all the time. They are also the two most stable and well-designed features. Rest of Samsung's gimmicks I found pointless or too unreliable. I will try OmniROM as well if/when it comes out. Still need to sort out if the s-pen stuff will work just as well with OmniROM... but that is months away, at the moment we have root and the last bugs are being ironed out for the recovery, after that comes new ROMs and kernels I hope

I'm in the same boat. The third alternative I'm considering is Sony Xperia Tablet Z, which has slightly lesser specs (though it has better looks in my opinion) but is already supported by Cyanogenmod. Considering my current Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (GSM) was never fully supported by CM (i.e. no stable versions), I don't really want to buy a tablet before I'm reasonably certain CM will work well on it...

Why would you make cm a requirement? Are other roms that have been fully de bloated etc and use a modified kernel, all that jazz, are they really that bad? Especially with an s pen...I may be wrong but I suspect that s pen useability would be sacrificed with a non tw rom

Well, my priorities are "stockness", UI customization (things like battery indicator, softbuttons, lockscreen shortcuts), stability (including a low amount of bugs), and Android version upgrades. While s pen is nice, its usability is an acceptable loss for me.
As for other more customized roms... As a Linux distribution and kernel developer myself, I believe a proper release process (including a long-ish stabilization period) and QA is a must on a project as large as Android roms to achieve a good level of stability, and CyanogenMod seems to be doing quite OK in those.
(I guess this doesn't apply that much to ROMs that are just minor modifications from manufacturer versions, since the possibility of regressions is much smaller on those)
I also don't care for specific kernel modifications or performance improvements etc. that much, the question I ask myself is "Why didn't the manufacturer do it like that in the first place?" or "Why doesn't CM do it?". If there's something I want that is missing from CM, I would submit it for inclusion in CM first, in which case it either gets merged in or refused (for a good reason, I'd hope). From what I've seen their policy has been reasonable and suited to my needs so far.

Bingo!
Can't we do a pledge thing and hope someone would help make the note 10.1 2014 reach it into cyanogenmod? I would definitely pledge a fair amount.

If you don't care about the S-pen, why even get this tablet at all!? There are a number of other tablets that while maybe lacking OTHER features than the active pen, but generally that's the specific feature that people get ANY of the Note series for.

The reason I got it was for multi windows only, and I'm sure with cyanogenmod we could come up with a mod for multi windows. This tab also has a beastly CPU and RAM which are other reasons I got this tab. I personally don't see using the pen much at all.

Personally I wanted the super high resolution, and the Nexus 10 is now getting long in the tooth and not available with 4G or 3G (and no way I'd go Apple!)
The pen would work with Cyanogen anyway (it did on my previous Galaxy Note I), you just lose the advanced functionalities. Plain Android has support for pen input.
CM is good and I use it on my Galaxy S3. However the multiwindow features for me personally are too good to give up. I figured I wouldn't use CM unless there's a multiwindow mod for it, or something like Omnirom should come out for this. The only other S-pen feature from the air view I find useful is pen window. Everything else is just gimmicks it feels like.
However I would really like a knox 0x0 root method first for the P600 version...sad to say it might not even happen at this point
really want it
Currently No Cyanogenmod rom has supported Multi window, So your probably out of luck OP you will lose Spen and multi window with cyanogen multiwindow is part of the touchwiz framework if I remember Correctly

I was about to invest money into CM because I really like the mod.. However now I read that S-Pen and multi window are not supported? As I just bought a Note 10.1 2014 Edition, I am interested to find a Mod that supports multi window and s-pen, can anyone point me in a direction? apart from having installed CM on my devices and the devices of some friends I have no idea about the mod world.
Thank you

You people make no sense. Why spend $600 on the most advanced tablet on the market only to attempt to install a ROM that will wipe out all of its selling features to then try and spend several hours finding a way to get those features back? I enjoy CM on my S3 as much as the next guy, but on this tablet it just makes no sense! Wait for Google to refresh the nexus 10 if you need stock Android that badly.
@¿Will-it-Blend?
Many reasons, Ill list some of the important ones:
1. I like samsung (Im a shareholder)
2. The tab in itself is good, so when I can chose to have a good tab with no extra features or a ****ty tab with no extra features I chose the good one.
3. Should any of the modders ever be capable of implementing the extra gadgets I already have a tab that can handle them, if not I have a good tab that can do the same as the ****ty tab but with more style
I hope this answered your question to your satisfaction, sadly you didnt even try to answer mine. Im still interested if anyone knows of any mods out there that support the extra features and are as stable and clean as CM? Or any mod for that tab, as at this moment my tab is laying around unused since there is no CM version for it.

I didn't answer your question because there are none . Ommi ROM has a multi-window feature but I highly doubt they will support this device. It will be some time before CM even supports this device. I feel sorry for you that you feel the need to cripple your device but it will still be a good while before you even see CM and it incorporates the features the stock ROM offers and for it to be just as stable as well. And that's if AOSP ROMS incorporate these features at all.
About the multiwindow on CM thing, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but there's an xposed module that lets you use a feature similar to multiwindow.
I may be way out of line here and if so I apologize - however coming from the Galaxy Nexus to the Galaxy Note 3 I'm mostly pretty happy except with certain aspects of Samsungs software stupidity that I can't seem to get rid of. I've been using the GEL and its amazing but I want to get back to "stock android" as much as possible. This means getting rid of the assnine Gingerbread-era settings menus, dialers, people app and other apps that look like they were plucked from my Droid X from 3 years ago.
Am I being unreasonable when I look at the available ROM's on the T-mo section and see that there aren't any kitkat ROMs available yet? Is there a development hurdle for the Galaxy devices that makes it impossible to make a AOSP-based ROM? (As if it needs to be said, I'm not a developer).
I love the hardware and the S-pen functionality (why I bought it), but I need to rid myself of the 90's era UI that samsung has foisted on us. Am I missing a ROM out there that can fulfill my needs?
I don't think there is anything aosp that can offer what tw had to offer when it comes to s pen functionality.
I had the note 2 before this and was running paranoid ROM which didn't have the cool s pen features.
What I've used the most is the pen window feature. Taking a quick note or using the calc has been handy.

We all feel your pain brother.
I have owned 3 Samsung Galaxy devices before this one and all have had AOSP/AOKP/CM10.2
For some reason or another, a developer not made a bare bone AOSP rom.
Which we all want.
Believe me when I say, we all know touchwiz is getting annoying.
My current setup is Stock Deodexed Debloated with the AOSP theme found in the "Themes and Apps" section, also with the Kit Kat Launcher.
I downloaded all of the Nexus 5 apps (Calendar, Camera, Gallery, Clock, etc. And deleted the Touchwiz ones.
This is as close as we can get for now .
