Hi guys,
I recently flashed paranoid android 3.99 and it has been really great. But there is one problem. Whenever I close an application with pie controls, there is a shadow of the last app that I used. Does anyone know how to fix this? This would happen if I am in a app and then while still in the app, I go to the recent apps to close all the apps but when I close the apps and I'm back at the home screen, when I go back to the recent apps, the recent apps animation activates along with a picture of the last app i used then the picture goes away and says no recent apps. Does anyone else have this issue? I would post a video but I do not know how to do to do that on a mobile device in this app. I'm on a Galaxy nexus using android 4.3.

On my first night with my Galaxy S3 I was playing around with the phone checking out the Gallery app. When I start pressing some random icon on the UI while viewing one picture and it then it pops up on my TV(Panasonic ST30 with wifi). I was taken by surprise that I could do this. Let alone that this was possible.
I've since rooted and began to remove a few apps and I'm not sure if I removed the particular app that deals with it.
Anyone know how to do this again? What exact app I SHOULDN'T have removed?

The app you need is allshare play. Just launch the app and follow the instructions

I wish that was it. But i installed it again to no avail. Guess I'll have to reinstall a ROM.
So I Odined the new full stock ROM, cleared data/cache to start over fresh, bone stock. Now when I disable apps from the settings/applications menu, they used disappear from the apps list. Now in there place is a generic picture for all the disabled apps with the app name. I hit them and they just say app not found, or something like that.
Anyone else run in to this?
This is what Im talking about.

Press menu while in app drawer and then hide apps. That should remove them from the drawer.

Thanks, I realise I can do that, Im just wondering if its caused by the new update, or if its something with my phone itself.
If anyone has a few minutes to kill, and you've updated and stock, not rooted or anything with a lot of apps disabled, would you mind enabling them all, then rebooting the phone, and disabling them again? I know it's a PITA, so thank you very much.
I'm kinda new to Touchwiz, so I don't know if this would have any side effects, but you could try to clear data for the launcher then reboot.

Hey,
I'm running Vanilla Rootbox-V4.0 kernel 3.4.45-cyanogenmod and I'm having trouble with my phone. I can't seem to find a couple of my apps in the app drawer I noticed. They were originally in the app drawer at one point in time and then when I tried to open it, it disappeared from the drawer. Any ideas what's wrong? I seem to be having other minor issues too and am wondering if I'm having kernel issues.

Stock launcher or custom launcher?

In the app drawer check that you don't have an extra tab for downloaded apps. I fell for that once lol

I'm using Samsung Galaxy Nexus (tuna) on Verizon network (toro) w/ Google Android 4.2.2 (stock ROM).
my phone lags so much, sometimes it even becomes unresponsive ... the only way to deal with it is to wait kill all apps (if any) then again i could can only have one app running and it'd already become unresponsive( apps could be as simple as : chrome, gmail, hangouts, search.
i'm really lost and not sure how to figure out what app is doing that to my phone and how to address it in order to prevent it from future, i restart my phone into "safe mode", my phone starts flying (then again no apps at this point).
so my question is:
how would one find a "rogue" app? all of my apps were downloaded through google play store and majority of them are very popular apps, so I can't really blame any.
any ideas?

I would love too! OTA though, meanwhile I'm thinking maybe some memory leak? How would I find which app?
.. meanwhile my guess maybe it's related to memory leak of some app, how can I find that? I even installed bbs)

disregard this
Hi all,
Since Android 7 OTA, I can no longer drag an app from the home screen search bar, for example, to put it on home screen or get info / uninstall.
Maybe it's user error, but I wondered if anyone else has this problem?
It works fine if I go via main app drawer, but that's a pain.
Thanks.

I think they removed the feature from the Google Now launcher because it's also not working on my Nexus 5 running Android 6.0.1
Thank you! Thought I was going bonkers.
That sucks...it was a good feature.
