Search for Xposed framework. I think it's in general. Not tmob general. After you have Xposed squared goto download and sift through the modules. Not 100% sure if it works on note3. In xda portal I believe it said it should work on gs3 and note2. Some of the other modules aren't 100% on note3 either but many of them work or partially work. I would think the aosp lock screen would work.

AOSP lockscreen does not work on our Note 3. I tried multiple ones and it changed nothing.

Damn. Sorry. I don't know where else to go for that. Smasung has it's own little shortcut but I would prefer the aosp one myself though I use neither. Maybe see if the Samsung shortcut thing will work for you.

I've been using the paid widget locker for years, even when I had a nexus. You can setup your lockscreen to be just like ASOP and add additional shortcuts on the slider ring. Mine has shortcuts to camera, one for video recording, one for my flashlight, google plus and of course, unlocking.
Holo Locker.
Implementation of lockscreen related things is so different on TouchWiz 4.3... not surprised the xposed mod didn't work. I didn't see anything that immediately popped out as "oh hey there's the aosp lockscreen info" when I was poking around, and from what I can tell it seems like elements of the aosp lockscreen are sort of integrated and hybridized into the stock lockscreen... Truth be told I didn't look into it all that much yet, but just wanted to chime in to mention how crazy different lockscreen setup is now

Still does not play nice with 3rd party launchers. I remember some lame bug on it, plus the fact it hasn't been updated since then.
I'm also using holo locker at the moment i'm currently on wanamlite 3.8 but would rather have the JB lockscreen so have resorted to using holo locker for the moment until i ca find a way of flashing the lock screen if its even possible???
Holo Locker has a few bugs which iritate me when ever i close the screen down you get the standard lock sound which it then does again a couple of seconds later

I am currently using Omega v33.1. But I badly miss the original jellybean lockscreen that came with parandroid rom which I tried not so long ago. I will keep searching for this on XDA as well as Google (just a noob expression I'm afraid). Hopefully I will find some mod which modifies some system files to achieve this. I have tried widget locker from play but experienced some irritating bugs.
BTW could anyone please guide me how to request some developer to build this or at least discuss is it possible at all.
Cheers.
I tried holo locker from play store. Pretty descent with no apparent bugs or fc. But sadly it isn't compatible with juicedefender. Prevents auto disable of data/wifi while screen is off.

Hi guys!
I am looking for the old original stock lock screen from 4.1 (like in the screenshot). For me is the new one terrible and I was wondering if someone can make a MOD or gave me a hint, how can I do it myself. Sadly I am a noob and I can only root my phone and flash some roms and mods. I am not looking for the Holo Locker or other app. Just want the poor old stock lock.
Can someone help me pls?
Thanks in advance!
I would love to see this as an option in future Custom Roms. Lockscreen widgets always seemed superfluous to me
You can use Widget Locker to set up your lock screen like that. I actually use Widget Locker to get a look similar to the 4.2 stock look on CM 10.1 since the CM one isn't quite the same as the stock one.

I opened a thread showing how you can put anything you like on your stock rom lockscreen using UCCW w/o requiring root or BL unlock; look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2081338&nocache=1 The only thing I haven't yet found how to do on stock rom is change the lockscreen wallpaper.

Beat me to it! I tried it on both my Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4 a while back and it worked as expected. However, I disable my lock screen using Lockscreen Policy so to me it's a non-issue with the 4.2 lock screen.

I'd like to see the developers given an option in their ROMs for turning the lockscreen widgets on and off. I know for me right now my problem with them is if I try to check my notifications I find myself missing the drag point for the notification bar and then I end up expanding the widget. Very, very annoying.
Yes, a mod like this would be good. I especially hate how Poweramp shows up on lock screen on 4.2. Its like a small ugly box on lock screen. 4.1 lock screen had it perfect.

It does not give you 4.1's lock screen but gets rid of your lock screen widgets...

Hey Everyone
I was wondering if there is a flashable zip of JUST the AOSP lockscreen (ring-style) for our Touchwiz Galaxy S3's
I dont want to install WidgetLocker or the likes.
Thank you

Does anyone know if there is a standalone 5 lockscreen mod I can flash, or something?

perhaps if you read the OP's post you would understand he was asking for a flashable zip of just the aosp lockscreen, not a ROM with an aosp lockscreen. where on upndwn4par's thread is the link to a recovery flashable aosp lockscreen zip?
i know that users post on here all the time without searching, but dont be a smarta** until you've actually read the post. it makes us all look bad
I'm not being a smarta** . you don't have to try and be a white night. He's looking for a solution and left a very wide margin with " or something. " I posted a possible solution all you did was start an argument. Csrom is essentially stock touchwiz with mods so I'd say I gave a better solution than you which was nothing. If I was trying to be a smart a** I wouldn't of given anything helpful. Like you

Maybe I sound like a dummy but I notice that if you put in your own custom wallpaper, the statusbar turns black like on the S3, but if you use the Samsung wallpapers, it is transparent. Is there anyway to make it ALWAYS transparent?
Also, is it possible to have multiple widgets with a PIN? Because I notice once you put a pin in, Samsung disables alot of the things you can do with the 4.2 lockscreen, which is dumb and defeats the purpose...

Nope. You answered your own question. Even without a PIN, they hork a lot of what 4.2 can do stock. Yet another reason why AOSP-based ROMs are superior.
