desire bricked

hello
i flashed desire with wrong software .. now the device open on htc logo and never boot
i can only enter the bootloader

the proplem that i dont know why i have this screen when i blug and unblug the usb cable
after open the device it stuck on htc logo on dark screen
after i blug the usb cable it is the same after take off the cable the device go to the bootloader

What software did you fash? Please tell us more details about your hardware/software.
Can you access fastboot or recovery from bootloader?

I bought this mobile out side Egypt I tried to flash Arabic rom RUU after it can't boot it just stop on HTC logo

Did you have a nandbackup? If yes try to restore it.

If all else fails, you could look for the RUU for your phone, connect the USB cable and put your phone back to it's original setting prior to rooting etc. I think you need to uninstall HTC Sync before running the RUU.

Yeah it's not bricked, it happens when you flash the wrong RUU, find the right one for your phone and run it. Good luck to you lol.

[Q] Desire overheating brick (7 times vibrates)

Hi! I know this is a well known problem and I try to read as many related topic i could find but I'm still stuck... Here's the situation:
I have a HTC Desire Bravo (european version i guess, I bought it here in Italy around 2 years ago), with definetely some overheating problems. I haven't use this phone in a long time, yesterday I turn it on and it start loading the Cyano 7 that was already install on the device. It freeze at the animation boot. After that first time it never worked again. Stuck with htc logo if I turn it on, sometimes does the 7 vibrate thing (which I come to the conclusion it's 'cause is overheating A LOT), sometimes it stuck on a reboot<-->htc logo loop untill I remove the battery.
I just want to make it run again, and maybe i'll send it to htc for the overheating, but first I need to bring it back to stock. Here's what I try:
- i flash the bravo downgrade by alpharev to bring the original partition table
- i flash a recovery, won't start (stuck with htc logo ec..ec...)
- I try the RUU, but it won't recognize the phone in hboot
- I try the pb99img method... it doesn't get recognize from the bootloader
So I am stuck with the Device in fastboot, can't get a recovery work so I can't flash any rom or ruu. If it helps, here's the hboot screen

Thanks for the quick response! But how exactly am I going to do that? The PC just won't recognize the phone plug in in HBOOT, so the ruu installer fail and says he can't find the phone (ERROR 170).
Maybe i have a wrong version of hboot?

OMG i made it work!! I put it in a plastic bag in the freezer for 20min and now i'm in recovery!!! I can't believe it really work:laugh:
I did some wipe and try to install the stock rom, just to make it work, but it's stuck on "Veryfying update package", and the progress bar won't go on. Mainboard it's already burning, at least now I know it has some hardware issues.
I'm gonna try downgrade it back to factory (s-on, unroot, all original ecc..) and send it back to HTC. Do you know if the warranty is still valid considering I bought it in november 2010 and i still have the receive ?

Warranty should be 2 years from the moment you bought it.

Desire HD S-OFF help

Hello,
a friend of mine has HTC Desire HD but it stucks on the HTC boot logo. I tried to go into recovery but it does not have any custome recovery only Hboot. It says it is S-On. Now, the problem is, I have s-unlocked and rooted many phones. But, for unlocking boot loader, almost all the procedures i found requires enabling usb debugging mode from settings...but since the phone does not even start the OS...how can I do that? So, any idea how to unlock the boot loader when there is no custom recovery or os working on the phone?

As far as I know, you unlock the bootloader from fastboot, not ADB.

Yes, the problem is the hboot on my device is 2.00.0027 and i searched around and people say it should be upgraded to 2.00.0029 before i can unlock the bootloader..but the prob is..which RUU to download to upgrade it? plus there is another method available htc tool or something like that but for that i have to have usb debugging on which i cant since the phone does not start..any help?

Well the Ruu files are here but you have to know which one to use for your phone depending on carrier and where you live I believe

[Q] Probelms bootloop recovery isnt worknig

Hello so i had problem with imai code so i decided to instal stock room (not shure which one was before) but after that pohone stucked in bootloop (after logo just shuted down) so i then i ried other versions and tut whic i could find but no results now i am using bach file to charge it to level when i can unlock it again
I am on S-ON cid vodap001 realy need help.

Unlock, flash a custom recovery. Then determine the rom you need with the command :
Fastboot getvar version-main
Restore the appropriate nand backup with a full wipe prior to it and flash the boot.img from the nand.

version is version-main: 2.17.161.2 cant find any room.I managed to unlock it , i will try to install cyanogen mod since i dont have nand backup so i cant restore.and btw before that phone worked fine only thing was that i couldnt update it there was no imei code and stuf and even then i culd get into recovery and i started as newbie (i didnt know what exactyle i was doing...) but no i have litle knowledge but still i cant get tit back to life.
Btw i have second htc one x with 64gb on it and cant even tur that one on (charger shows red flashingg indictaor

your hboot is to low to flash the latest roms (its 1.12) you can install all ICS roms but not newer ones. You need to update the hboot first. go to the general section en look for the collection of stock backups thread and find the nand backup that matches your main.

and your main 2.17 ??? thats very odd ! it should be in line of 4.18 or 4.19 !

Onther htc just stays dead but it worked before(stuck in logo screen atleast had some life in it (i hope its just dead.))

and you have to read better, the link you posted in your last post is for the HTC ONE M8 not the HTC one X and not the HTC one X+ ! pay attention please.......

Htc wildfire s ruu fail

Hi
is my htc wildfire s (marvel) Gsm bricked?
i ask because after unlocking bootloader and rooting and installing Roms it froze on the htc screen whenever i try to do anything Even when i try to get into the Recovery from the boatloader So i relocked the bootloader and tried to run An RUU it failed So i made a GOLD CARD BUT using HTC desire WILL it work on the htc wildfire s Because i tried it with SOME RUU s everything gets flashed right RADIO HBoot.... But when SYStem it fails and now im stuck on a black Screen With htc logo and 4 warning signs BUt it still gets detected by Fastboot when i ran OEM getvar all it says ITS IN RUU mode
is it Bricked Or is there hope?
