Hi , I am confused ,I can configure my s4 mini to answer incoming calls by pressing the "home" button ,and I can configure the phone to answer via "answer" voice command , all of the screen buttons appear to function ok , and calls can be shut down via the red "phone disconnect" symbol on the screen ,but for some reason I cannot answer a call (the way I want to ) by touching the "green" connect symbol on the screen ,it wont respond to touching in any form apart from the onscreen tremor you see when you tap the screen it simply wont work .
The phone is rooted and I have disabled just about everything related to data transfer , wifi,and internet , as well as uninstalling , disabling or hidind all other apps . the phone is to be used for text and talk only ,for my other half ,who has learning difficulties , its the cheapest way for her to get unlimited text and talk .
any help would be apreciated , thanks . graham

I hace a problem with the caller id, everytime i have an incoming call, i have to press call status to find out who is calling, and once i press that tab, i can only see the last person who called or i called the last time, just when i answer the call can i cantually see the name on the screen. Anyone knows whats going one? I have installed the slide to unlock but i never use it.

You've written the solution for your problem. If you never use slide2unlock just uninstall it. That's causing your problem...

I now have a similar problem, but it started after i uninstalled slide to unlock ..
with S2U i used fullscreen callerID ( built in the program - i used version 1.0 )
when someone calls, my phone rings but stays at the password ( numeric ) screen.
is there a registry key to fix this

I dont know if anybody can help, but the 1 thing that annoys my about my BA/wm6 is when you get a call, the screen is active, so when your geting it out of your bag or wher ever your touching the screen and loading up progs and stuff.
So is there a app or anything that will disable the screen when its ringing? At the moment Im using slide to unlock, and that will disabled the screen when calls are connected but not when ringing???
so why does the software companion make it?
I think to see the contacts incoming call!

Ive made it a tad better cos theres a option in s2u that ive found and it displays the s2u screen when you get a incomming call with just answer and end buttons at the bottom of the screen. I wanted those buttons gone aswel, but you cant have everything can you. The most important thing that Ive got rid of the today screen when you receive incomming calls.
Hey...Doesnt matter how many messages I receive in t-mobile rhodium it always says i have 25 messages...also I always have to stay on the message for a very long time for it to disappear as a new message...Ive tried searching the forums for my problem but I coudlnt really find the solution. Maybe its there and im sorry for the extra thread.

Also the unmute/mute button at the back of the phone under the camera doesnt work..it has no function in my phone when i press it...any solution for that?
For the thing about the phone only saying you have 25 messages, how in the hell did you miss the "All Messages" button in the lower left hand corner?
Pretty sure that mute button is just for calls, not general usage of the phone, might wanna read the manual next time champ.
I have the all messages button on the corner but phone always displays like 1/25 when a new message comes...doesnt matter how many messages i have in the phone
and also the mute button doesnt work even during calls even when i have the speakerphone on..
When you say 1/25, do you mean the message previews on the Message Manila tab?

I got the impression that the 'mute' button is to mute the microphone (not the speakers) when the speakerphone is activated when you place the TP2 face down.

I want to ask a question... with the screen on, when I get a phone call, I can push the menu button to send a text message with a standard text like "I'm busy right now, I call you later"...
- is there a way that I can change this text?
When my screen is off, and the sense 3 lockscreen kicks in when I receive a phonecall, I only got two options, answer or decline... Is there a way to get the menu button to work for me with the text message as mentioned above? This would especially come in handy, because I usually get phonecalls with the screen off...
any ideas, tips, tricks etc?

Hey Guys , something has been confusing me for quite some time , so finally decided to get registered , and ask all of you. My HTC ONE X , does not ping or make a sms received sound instantly when it receives an sms , It is only when i press the power button up-top to unlock the screen , does the notification pop up and the phone ping. Any idea what is causing this? No I'm not rooted and i need a solution. Thanks
